I've never seen this before!
Clean and tasty mouthfeel. It's a great answer. It goes well with seafood as a matter of course.
The color is rather yellow, but it's good on its own or with sushi.
Nukadaira Gensenkyo Bring Your Own Sake (1)
We stayed at Nakamuraya in Nukadaira Onsen for 3 nights in a row with 3 bottles of different types of local sake from Hokkaido selected by Kumada Shoten in Obihiro City, bringing in a 4-pack a day and enjoying a happy meal every night with a humble side dish of local ingredients as a snack 😃.
This one is gorgeous, fruity and slightly sweet. The aftertaste is elegant and clean, so it can be easily matched with any dishes such as local chicken, rainbow trout, wild vegetables, potatoes, etc. ‼️ The flavor spreads more if it is slightly chilled.
The name comes from the fact that Hokkaido used to be divided into 11 states. A long time ago, Hokkaido was behind in new approaches to sake, and lagged behind the local sake from other parts of Japan. So they launched this brand in an attempt to create a delicious sake. It is indeed a modern sake that complements fresh ingredients. Thank you very much for your hospitality.
I drank a bottle of "Juichu" and enjoyed it so much that I drank "Aki-agari" sake as well!
It was like a darker version of Juichu. I had an image of "ripe" Aki-agari, but it wasn't like that, it was delicious!
The second drink was the Eleventh State, which I've always wanted to try!
I think I heard that it is only available in limited places? I'm not sure. Flowery aroma, but refreshing. Cholesky.
It is good with Hamachi no Namame!
Good evening Jay & Nobby😊.
Thank you. Sapporo was hot to run too😅.
Juichishu, it's a Sapporo sake, but I don't think you can find it very often, but according to the store owner, it's common 😅.
