Masaaki Sapporo
8 → 8.5 points (wife: 8 points)
Rice used: Kitashizuku (produced in Shintotsukawa, Hokkaido)
Rice polishing ratio: 50
Alcohol content: 17% (undiluted)
Purchased from: Jizake No Sake Shop, Yushuya (Kiyota-ku, Sapporo)
Shupo when opened
Almost no gas
Slightly sweet melon and grape-like top notes
The same gentle aroma as the first sip, the full rice flavor and soft sweetness spreads with moderate acidity, and it finishes quickly with a hint of bitterness and a little alcohol spiciness.
The sweetness is not too strong, and the rice flavor is well balanced with the freshness and overall mildness.
After the second day, it becomes even more mellow and delicious!
It went well with hamburgers, fried oysters, spicy cod roe, and Genghis Khan.
