Masaaki Sapporo
8.5 points (wife 8 points)
Rice used: 100% Miyamanishiki
Polishing ratio : Koji rice 50%, Kake rice 50%.
Yeast used : Kyokai No.6
Slightly grape-like upfront taste
The same fruity aroma as the first rise, with the aroma of wooden vats, the soft sweetness and umami of the rice spreading out with a white wine-like acidity, and the lingering aroma is quickly quenched.
The freshness, unique aroma and acidity typical of Niimasa are impressive, and it went well with grilled beef and rice in an earthenware pot with chicken and burdock root.

Good evening, Masaaki Sapporo 😃.
The combination of Shinsei and the food looks so good 😋.
Especially the rice with chicken and burdock in an earthenware pot makes me hungry just looking at it😅

Hi, soumacho 😃The earthenware rice here is very tasty with a strong dashi broth and a sweet, salty, elegant flavor, so I hope you will try it: 🍽️
