I went on a business trip to Aomori the other day and brought this as a souvenir. I vaguely matched it with squid or tuna. I thought it was probably a local luxury sake. It was a very tasty and elegant sake.

It is a Hakkouda Oroshi Gin-Sen 🍶. The daiginjo I've had before is 100% Hanabukiyuki, but this one has koji as Hanabukiyuki🌾 and kake as Mashigure🍚. The top aroma is slightly sweet. When you put it in your mouth, it has a slight sweetness and a nice sharpness. It is less sweet than the Hakkouda Oroshi Daiginjo in a cup that I bought at Shin-Aomori station last year. It was delicious. ✨️

Aizu Shuzo's Aizu Ginjo Nama Shu Arabashiri. The initial aroma is just a hint of sweetness, but once you take a sip, a soft sweetness and bitterness spreads. It has a clear, fresh, powerful flavor, and is crisp and clean. Although it is a ginjo-shu with alcohol, it is smooth and easy to drink, and the alcohol content is a little light at 15 degrees, so it is easy to enjoy and delicious. 😋♪

There is no description on the 300ml bottle, but according to the official website, it seems to be called Shiboritate Nama-nihan-shu. It has a good balance of sweet and spicy and is easy to drink. It is truly exquisite. I think it is similar to the Shiroshika Classics Limited Nama-Nihan-shu. It's definitely better than the first unfiltered draft I opened.

A bowl of oden at an oden shop in Shizuoka Station. I had no idea about this brand. The best part of traveling is being able to drink this kind of local sake with local food 😆. A little sweet and full, with a clean dry finish. It is not flashy, but there is no alcohol feeling that lingers in the throat and it is very smooth to drink 😄. It goes great with Shizuoka oden, which is a thick, dark broth with fishmeal, and if we weren't on a family trip, we would be drinking it endlessly 😅.... Also, I had a local B gourmet dish called "Motsuru Curry" for the first time, which was also very tasty👍👍!

It's a tag-team sake from Kadoden Brewery, which is also known as a metamorphosis of rice, and Hagino Brewery, which is known as one of the best sweet and sour brewers in Miyagi Prefecture. While the heady aroma is modest, the tangy gassiness gives the sake a strong umami presence. The sweetness and acidity typical of Hagino Brewery are also present. Last night was a get-together. We brought our own sake, assuming it wouldn't be too much since it was an all-you-can-drink course at an izakaya chain restaurant. (I got the restaurant's approval!) I bought my first bottle of Vice Shogun. The aroma is fresh and fruity. The mouthfeel is salty-sweet with a hint of sourness. The ginjo aroma becomes a pleasant aftertaste, and is finished off with a mild sourness and bitterness. I thought it was based on a light dry base, but I could feel Aizan's character, and it was very tasty. The fact that everyone who drank it gave it high marks probably indicates that they were paying attention to me. I also like the cost performance of Aizan's Junmai Daiginjo, which is under 2,000 yen! Last night was a New Year's party with a couple I met last year. We had dinner at a nice restaurant and then went to Kokubuncho. After the fourth bar, I finally had a chance to drink sake. I have known the owner of this sake bar on the outskirts of the city for about 25 years now. The lighting doesn't look like it's the kind of place you'd enjoy sake, but don't worry about that. The selection is quite good, so go for something you've never tried before. First up is Hiryu, the one with Tatsumi Fujinami's red towel. A dry sake with a refreshing yet tasty flavor, just like Mr. Shinzawa! Thank you very much for your hospitality!

My father bought it for me as a souvenir from his trip to Aomori. The nose has a faintly acidic aroma. In the mouth, there was a delicate acidity from the sake yeast and a calm, gentle sweetness and richness. It was a crisp sake, typical of Sakuta's special pure sake. It was delicious, but it was not so good when it was warmed up 🤔.
