Good evening! I'm so glad you're here 🙋 .
It's Golden Week in the world! I am sure that many of you are saying that.
My company started to have a 2-day weekend this year, but the flag day 🇯🇵 in the middle of the week is basically a work day. 😅
Well, it can't be helped, but as expected, the 5th and 6th of next week are set as holidays. 👍
As is typical in the countryside, there are people who help with rice planting and other farm work during this time of the year! This is the reason why they work so hard to make rice.
We have a small field, but even if we plant cucumbers and tomatoes, there is no place to distribute them even if we produce a lot of them because everyone around us grows the same thing. 😱
On the other hand, I get them and I am at a loss as to what to do with them 😥.
So, it's really only a little bit.
Well, the other day there was a social event for an industry group and as usual, I provided the drinks. 😁
First of all, Kagamiyama.
Actually, this is the first brand I've ever had.
It is a light nigori with a combination of white malted rice and Aizan.
The acidity is exquisitely delicious! 👍
The aroma is mature, perhaps because it was cooled down too much.
As the temperature gradually rises, the ginjo aroma comes out.
Everyone was drinking it happily! 🎉
Gamayamayama
Kagamiyama" used to be a well-loved local sake in Kawagoe, but it went out of business due to a lack of successors.
However, thanks to the enthusiasm of the local people, it was revived in 2007 as "Koedo Kagamiyama Brewery.
It is believed that the name comes from the name of a mountain called "Kagamiyama" located on the shore of Lake Biwa in Shiga Prefecture. It is said that the name was given to the brand in memory of the founder's hometown in Shiga Prefecture.
Koedo Kagamiyama Shuzo
Kagamiyama Junmai Sake
This brewery is located in Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture.
Sake Musashi" produced in Saitama prefecture is 60% polished rice.
Gentle and gorgeous aroma, mellow rice flavor,
Slight sourness and bitterness, and a soft, full-bodied taste.
It has a well-balanced and gentle aftertaste.
It can be served lukewarm or hot!

Kagamiyama Junmai Ochigarami Nama Shu
Ingredient rice: Sake Musashi
Rice polishing ratio 60
Alcohol content: 16%.
Both sake and sake were given to me by Harry.
While I was wondering when to open the bottle, it was almost the end of March, so I opened the bottle.
The first sip was fruity but not light and medium bodied. It's delicious!
This will definitely be delicious when it ages.
Thank you Harry for the delicious sake 🙇.
I will ask my favorite liquor store about Katsuma, seasonal fish, and recommended izakaya information 🫡.
I fell in love with this sake at first sight at a tasting at a sake brewery in Koedo.
It was a sake that also had the aroma of wine, and was a fun one to think of a snack to accompany the entree.
This will be my first time at Ozura again.
In the mouth, it is very soft. First, sweetness. Then the sweetness asserts itself. The bitterness and pungency are almost imperceptible. It is like sugar water with alcohol. It has a very good mouthfeel, but it is not sharp and not to my taste.
I got my first wine yeast brewed Junmai 🍷 (I always wanted a white wine emoji too,,,)!
The sweetness of the wine and the mellowness of the sake were a perfect match: 🫶🏻
As someone who usually drinks wine, it was easy to drink! I was like!
Also, I would love to have it with mushroom pizza🍄🟫🍕
I will master the wine yeast preparation... 🙇🏻♀️

If the "Junmai Ginjo" was "Pear Level 1🍐", the "Junmai Daiginjo" is like "Pear Level 2🍐🍐"!
(I need to work on my vocabulary!)
I enjoyed the aroma and presence!
I want to enjoy it with fish dishes and tempura: 🐟️
