tomoさんI saw this one at Kitano Ace last week. Ao Rango Bomu Pomu🍏. I'm low al so my wife and I 🥂. The aroma is faintly 🍏? Ooh 😳 the sourness is 🍏🥰. It also feels a little plum-y, but the label pulls you in and you only feel the 🍏 as you drink it 😁. It's so light that I gulp it down like juice 🤣.

tomoさんLong time no see Yuho. This was another Ishikawa sake 😊. Drink and cheer 📣🍶. The first day I drank it after Ozeyuki, so I had a strong impression of bitterness. The second and third days were no different, especially the impression of bitterness and astringency in cold sake. The label says to cool it down a bit, but I personally prefer to bring it up to room temperature to get a sense of the umami. I personally prefer it at room temperature 🥰. It would be good with fried food or other oily food.

ジェイ&ノビィGood morning, TOMO 😃. Yuuho! We don't have it for sale near us, but Mamio has inspired us 😁 we want to master it 😋 not everything needs to be chilled 😊.

tomoさんJay & Nobby, good evening 🌟. I couldn't find Yuho near me, so I popped in 👆Yuho is dry, but it's also delicious and tasty 🥰.

tomoさんMelting snow in Oze, my favorite brand 😍. On the first day, I drank it after Toyo Bijin and found it light, soft sweetness followed by a nice sharpness. The fourth day I left it unscheduled (I'm feeling a little under the weather...). It is delicious with more sweetness and umami 😍. The sharpness is gone 🤣Lasting sweetness 🥰. I love this sweet and tasty Ozeyuki😍.

tomoさんDo you like beautiful sisters? I remember you saying this in an old commercial 😁. I'm having a beautiful drink today😍. Toyo Bijin, a famous sake from Yamaguchi I can buy it at a liquor store in my neighborhood, but when I go to that liquor store, I buy it with high frequency. Along with Omine, it is my favorite sake in Yamaguchi🥰. It's sweet and tasty, no bitterness, and a little spicy at the end, but that makes me drink more and more 🤣. It's only the middle day of the week so I have to quit in moderation though 😆... 😆.

tomoさんSince we were drinking out two days in a row, we had to drink a cup of sake to make sure we didn't drink too much. This is a cup of Akirika sake I bought on a trip to Osaka. The 🦌 design reminds me of Nara. Nara Kotsu buses were also full of 🦌, and the electronic money was also full of 🦌, such as CI-CA. It tastes like a deliciously spicy junmai sake. I enjoyed it at room temperature, sipping it while eating iburi gakko (pickled ginger) and salted fish. It is a classical junmai sake, which is different from the recent trend, but it is delicious in its own way 🥰.
Japanese>English
うまいうまいGood evening, TOMO. ⭐️ Oh ⁉️ you were in Osaka 😳or maybe I stocked up before.... Bambi cups from Aki-Lika are not bad 👍Please reuse the cups too 😸.

tomoさんGood evening, Umaisan 😃. I went to Univa with my family the other day and bought this souvenir for myself at Osaka station on the way back 😁. I really wanted to buy more things, but there were too many (too big) souvenirs from Univa 🤣.

tomoさんLeaving the new sake festival, we went to the second restaurant. The second party was at a soba restaurant on the restaurant floor of Amu Plaza Kumamoto, adjacent to the station. This soba restaurant has a great selection of sake 😁. The price is... no way 🤣. The third cup was Shinkame. This one was served warmed. Everyone knows the taste of Shinkame. It is the best heated sake 🥰. I had it with soba to finish 😋. That was the end of the second bar, and the time was 9:30pm🤣. We decided to go to the third restaurant 🤣. At the third bar, we drank Shigemasu (Fukuoka) and Zuitaka (Kumamoto) and split up at 23:00. Actually, the day before, I had been drinking until 1am at the department's farewell party, so I had been drinking deeply every day 😅. I feel a lot lighter after 2 days 🤣.

tomoさんLeaving the new sake festival, we went to the second restaurant. The second party was at a soba restaurant on the restaurant floor of Amu Plaza Kumamoto, adjacent to the station. This soba restaurant has a great selection of sake 😁. The price is... no way 🤣. The second drink was Shashaemon I had this sake at this restaurant before, but I couldn't remember what it tasted like, so I ordered it. The moment I put it in my mouth, the gorgeous aroma spreads and sweetness, sourness, umami, and spiciness all come at once 😳. This feeling is like no other 😁. You can enjoy this on its own or as a food sake 🥰.

tomoさんLeaving the new sake festival, we looked for a second restaurant. There are not many izakayas around Kumamoto Station, so all the nearby restaurants are full 😱. We had our second meeting at a soba restaurant on the restaurant floor of Amu Plaza Kumamoto, which is adjacent to the station. This soba restaurant has a great selection of sake 😁. The price is... no way 🤣. The first drink of the after-party was Karakuchi Samurai, which I had never had before. I found out that it was from Fukuoka's Morinokura. This brewery makes all of their sake from junmai (pure rice), so this one is probably junmai too. It is a dry sake with almost no aroma and a sharp cut from the umami flavor. It is easy to match with meals.
Japanese>English
遥瑛チチGood evening, tomo🌇. As you said, Morinokura is a pure rice brewery, so it's perfect for you, Tomo 👍. I'll try to find it and drink it when I get homesick too! I probably won't be 😆.
Japanese>English
tomoさんHello, Haruei Chichi ☔. Kyushu, it was raining heavily⛈ this morning. This one looks crisp and sharp and quintessential samurai ⚔. I bet there are more varieties of sake available in Kanto, so you don't have time to get homesick 🤣.

tomoさんKumamoto New Sake Festival 2024 I participated in the Kumamoto New Sake Festival held every March with my colleagues 🍶. Drink tickets 🎫1 set of 3 tickets for 1200 yen. One ticket is exchanged for 5 shaku of sake (two tickets for the more expensive ones). I chose three kinds of sake: Kameman nigori sake, Taido, and Hanayuki. The third cup was Hanayuki. I first had this Hanayuki at the new sake festival two years ago. It is a very sweet sake with a sake strength of -20 😁. It is still very sweet 🤣. This sweetness is like the sweetness of wasanbon or Japanese sweets. It does not go well with food 🤣. If you like sweet, you can enjoy it by itself 😋. Everyone finished three cups and the new sake festival was over. We went straight to the second house 🪜.

Japanese>English
tomoさんHi Jay & Nobby ☀☀☀☀. Kumamoto sake has a lot of classical taste except for Hana no Koka. Taido is not flashy, but it has a delicious flavor on top 😁I also recommend a new brand called Kyuyo Masamune that came out last year👍.

tomoさんKumamoto New Sake Festival 2024 I participated in the Kumamoto New Sake Festival held every March with my colleagues 🍶. Seven breweries that are members of the sake brewers association in Kumamoto Prefecture were participating. Unfortunately, the most popular one in Kumamoto, Hana-no-Kou, did not participate🥲, even though they were at the new sake festival in Hakata😢. Drink tickets🎫1 set of 3 tickets for 1200 yen. One ticket is exchanged for 5 shaku of sake (two tickets for the more expensive ones). I chose Kameman's nigori sake, Taido, and Hanasetsu. First, the nigori sake. I thought it would be thick with a lot of rice grains left, but the alcohol taste at the end made me feel refreshed. It was quite tasty and went well with the fried chicken.

tomoさんAlcoholic sake with a good taste I've been into sake for over 20 years now and the quality of sake in recent years has been amazing😳. In one of the books I read by Mr. Uehara when I was first getting into sake, he said, "Sake should be junmai, even better if it's heated. However, Gakki is a great albeit expensive sake 🥰. And it's a great cospa👍. It would be a shame not to drink it 😁. Today it's a raw Honjozo. You can feel the alu feeling at the end, but it is a fruity and delicious sake 🥰.
Japanese>English
ポンちゃんHello TOMO 🐦. Gakkie's alsobe delicious 😊💕The other day I didn't hesitate to pick up a special honjozo of the raw stuff too 😁 looking forward to it 😁.

tomoさんYearling I turned one year older yesterday 🎂 I was late coming home from work yesterday, so I didn't do anything to celebrate, but I did have a few drinks 😁. Kabashiko in the birthplace. It has a kind of unique taste. Not much aroma? In the mouth, a graininess? Then sweetness, sourness and bitterness. It has a habit, unlike normal sanshin 😁. I'm a weirdo sake lover, though, so this much habit doesn't count as habit 🤣.
Japanese>English
あねさんCongratulations 🎊 You were not 🐰. Enviable early birthday! You decided to celebrate your kiri number or your birthday with some kinky booze ㊗️ 😆.
Japanese>English
tomoさんThank you Ane, 🙇‍♂ I didn't have anything in mind for my birthday and decided on this one, which I was looking for the right time to open. I can't stand to buy and drink the kinky alcohol, so I don't have it on hand for Kiri 🤣.
Japanese>English

boukenHappy Birthday, TOMO 🎂🎉! I'm a bit curious when I hear that it's a "weird sake" because I've always heard that red rice sake has a strong habit 🤣.
Japanese>English
tomoさんThank you, Kumagai-san. Is sansho has three types of rice, Yamadanishiki (black), Hozu (green), and Kako (red) 🤔. Sin-Tsuchida is truly a metamorphic sake 😁.

tomoさんIzakaya Shinkansen 🚄 I went on a trip to Osaka for two nights and three days. Three days without sake. I was exhausted from shopping in Umeda and Shinsaibashi and my first time in Univa😅I walked about 60000 steps in 3 days😳. Even on a weekday, Univa was crowded with tourists from overseas 🤣. I bought a cup of sake at Yamanaka Sake store in Osaka station before I changed my 🚄 on my way home. This one is completely jacked 😁. The aroma is...alu strong. Not much sweetness, sour and spicy. Sour and spicy, so it goes well with a meal 😊. I bought a bento with raw flakes and satsuma-age on it at the bento shop put out by Zojirushi at Shin-Osaka station, which I was curious about, and matched it with it. It was a great combination with the satsuma-age👍. Also 👍 with tenmusu that my wife bought.

tomoさんJob Hunting Completed🎊 I compare the drinks with my eldest son who got the job offers of two companies without a hitch. Next is a special pure rice sake! This one has a mild aroma and a much cleaner impression compared to the Yamada-Nishiki we just had 😊. The sweetness is subdued, but the umami is also present and it is still well balanced 🥰. It also has a freshness that is typical of a pure sake, also delicious 😍. My oldest son said "It tastes totally different 😳I like this one better". My eldest son seems to prefer a clear and balanced type of sake rather than one with a strong sweetness.

tomoさんJob Hunting Completed🎊 My eldest son found out the result of the interview he had last week yesterday and successfully got a job offer from the second company 🎉. He was wondering between these two companies, but now that he got both job offers, he's even more confused 🤣. I heard a lot of news about the increase of starting salary, but the one where my son got a job offer was not high at all😅There seems to be a lot of difference depending on the type of industry. I don't know which one he will decide on, but as a celebration of his job offer, my eldest son and I are going to compare 🎊 (my wife said "you just want to drink" 🤣). We started with a junmai ginjo draft of Mie Yamada-Nishiki that we got from the Haijimaya hanpukai. It is sweet from the aroma. A soft sweetness fills the mouth, followed by a flood of sweetness 😍. The bitter taste is not drawn out but lingers in the sweet aftertaste. My eldest son said to me, "This is delicious👍" 😁.

tomoさんFebruary Sake from Iwaya Hanpukai Kenkunichi was recommended to us by the former owner (father of the current owner) of a nearby liquor store. I like nigori here these days 🥰. The challenge sake from Kenkunichi is Kame-no-o Junmai Namaishu. I started with a cold sake. Very refreshing and clear. It has a good balance of umami, acidity and a hint of bitterness. It is different from the usual Kenkunichi 🥰. As the temperature rises, the taste becomes rich and mellow with a strong sweetness and umami 😳. A slight change in temperature changes the impression considerably. This cold flavor is soooo good 😍. If you want a refreshing drink, drink it cold, if you want to savor it slowly, drink it at room temperature 😋.
