Kumamoto Off-line meeting 2nd meeting (1) After a short walk (but not more than 200 meters), we went to the next restaurant. Sake Bar Ryu! The owner's father runs a sushi bar next door, but the bar and sushi bar had switched places after not coming for a while 😳. The bar has been expanded to include table seating! There were 5 of us so the table seating was perfect 😁. Well, honda found something right away 😳. Here's another Jyushiyo 🤩. The toast of the after-party was a Jyushidai Nakadori Unfiltered 🥂. This is definitely delicious😍! I didn't take notes (I was in no condition to 🤣) so I can't give a detailed taste review, but the fact that it tasted so good even when I was drunk makes it all the more amazing 🥰. It was (maybe) the best of the day!

Kumamoto Off-line Meeting (15) Honda-san asked the manager for something to drink, and he brought this 🤣. Nabeshima Junmai Daiginjo Kitsushizuku I definitely prefer this to the Aizan Daiginjo we had earlier 🥰. The sweetness and umami were more pronounced than the Aizan from earlier 😍. I forgot the details of the taste though 🤣. That was the end of the first meeting at RIKI! We were kicked out of the restaurant at an early hour, so we all went to the after-party that day!

Kumamoto Offline Meeting ⑭ Then Sharaku's Akaban Oumachi It has more sweetness than Bizen Oumachi, which I prefer 🥰. But I wonder why it feels more refreshing than usual 🤔. Maybe I drank too much sake and my tongue went crazy 🤣.

Kumamoto Offline Meeting ⑬ Last order time 😳 I didn't drink from the regular menu 🤣. So we ordered the Sharaku Omachi drink comparison for the last time! We started with Bizen Oumachi. Dry? I feel a strong bitterness. I don't remember Sharaku's Yumachi being this dry 🤔. I also feel sweetness, but it was not rich.

Kumamoto Off-line Meeting ⑫ The last of the event menu (Hananoka and Tasake were through 🤣) Nabeshima Aizan Daiginjo Bitterness but... elegant flavor and sweetness. But a bit alcoholic 🤔. This is also delicious, but I drank too much good sake today, so it might be hard to grade it 🤣.

Kumamoto Off-line Meeting (11) We were supposed to have a bottle of Senkyou, but they ran out at the last minute, so they brought this one! Junmai Daiginjo Nice looking sake with a clean dry taste! The initial bitterness was quite strong and I didn't really like it 😅. This is a matter of taste, so I can't help it😅 I guess Tobiroki is an excellent sake as a food sake... but I'm not really into it 🤔.

Kumamoto Off-line Meeting 10 Comparison of Jikin Next is Yoshikawa Yamadanishiki The flavor is typical of Jikin, this one is good too 🥰. I think Tojo's aroma was more gorgeous 🤔. To be frank, my stupid tongue can't tell the difference in terroir 🤣. As a result, both are delicious 😁.

Kumamoto Off-line Meeting (9) Here comes the appearance of Jikin👍! On the menu Jikin Tojo Yamadanishiki was on the menu, but there were only a few bottles left, so they opened a bottle of Yoshikawa Yamadanishiki, also from Jikin 😁. We started with Tojo Yamadanishiki! The aroma is gorgeous and the balance of umami and bitterness is typical of Jikin 🥰. Jikin is still good 😍.

Kumamoto Off-line Meeting 8 More to come! Sawaya-Matsumoto Moribashi-Aizan VINTAGE2015 I had high expectations for this wine, but... I was expecting a bitterness and pungency because of the aging process, and I didn't feel the beautiful sweetness of Aizan 😢. I didn't really like this one 😅. I thought maybe it was because I have a sweet tooth... but all the off-line meeting members had the same impression 🤣.

Kumamoto Off-line Meeting (7) I'm going to lose my senses with all the good drinks... It's a good one to continue! Isshaku-Suisei Gold Award-winning Sake Elegant umami 🥰. The sharpness is excellent and goes well with meals👍 Polishing is great, so this one tastes beautiful too 👍 At cost, 60mL 700 yen 😳. I'm happy to drink sake that I can't buy myself 🥰.

Off-line meeting in Kumamoto (6) They ran out of Mimuro Sugi's Gold Award-winning sake, so they opened a bottle of this one instead! Shinsei Cosmos - Akita Torrential Rain Reconstruction Aid Sake The second Shinmasa of the day! It has a great fizzy feeling 😳. You can also feel the rice flavor, rice sparkling 🥂. I think I prefer the regular Cosmos 😅

Kumamoto Off-line Meeting (4) Let's keep on drinking 😁. Next, Shinsei Heterodox Guru Co. My first experience of a sake that I have only seen at Sakewa💓. Elegant flax cat 🤔. To put it better, it's a very clear sake with a distinctive acidity derived from white malted rice 😋. Not enough taste for those who like kinky sake (specializing in thick sake) though 🤣.

Kumamoto Off-line Meeting (3) More great drinks are on the way 😁. Sharaku Gokujo Jyuwari The umami is so rich 😳 This is also very good 🥰. This one is so rich in flavor that you wonder if it's really polished to 20% 😍. It's dark but clean and free of any cloying flavors!

Kumamoto Off-line Meeting (2) The one that can be continued 😋. Honda-san requested Jyushidai Gin-Sen Sweet and dark, but with a nice bitter taste 🥰. This balance of bitterness and sweetness is wonderful😍. I've been encountering a lot of Jyushidai lately 😁. By the way, on the first day of this event, they had Jyushiyo Honmaru for 100 yen (60mL) per cup 😳.

Kumamoto Off-line meeting ①. With usual members 😁. This day was the 13th anniversary of RIKI's anniversary For 5 days from the 1st to the 5th, we will let you drink at a very reasonable price with the manager's generous plan 🍶. For only 2000 yen, you can have all the sake you want for the project, so of course we added it to the course and drank it all 😋. The list of the project sakes is shown in the photo (3). And the regular all-you-can-drink sake menu (photo 4) The most expensive sake of the day for the toast 😁. Houou Mita MIKUMARI 30mL 1500 yen 33,000 yen for a four-pack 😳😱. Beautiful and delicate flavor, no miscellaneous taste at all...the sake really disappeared~! This is about the best I can review for 30mL 🤣. Oh, it was 777 check in 😁. Just glad it was a yeah drink 😋.

Sake drunk on Sake Day Since I had a drinking party the day before, I kept it light on Sake Day. It's been a while since I've had a Tasake special junmai, but I don't remember it being this hard fresh out of the bottle 🤔. Today is the third day, the overall balance is better 🥰. But somehow, like the first day, I feel a strong bitterness. I don't remember it tasting like this 🤔

After-party of welcome and farewell party ③. Next is Amabuki in Saga I thought it might be sweet since it is Aiyama, but it tasted mehclear😳. The sweet but clear ginjo aroma spreads to a subtle sweetness and umami flavor, and it cuts through quickly 🥰. Delicious but not enough for me to drink by itself 🤣.

After-party of welcome and farewell party (2) The members of this day liked spicy food, so it was spicy even if it continued. The first sip of this one gave the impression of being light and dry. But on the second sip, the umami flavor swells up in the mouth, and it cuts through quickly! It made me want to take another sip right away, and it was gone in no time at all 🤤.
