I finally drank a bottle of "Ippoumami" that I bought at a liquor store in Fukushima last month.
The aroma is not so strong and the taste is refreshing, but the melon-like sweetness and a hint of bitterness in the aftertaste make it an interesting drink.
I will drink it with care.
Rice polishing ratio 55
Alcohol content 16
The second bottle is Junmai Ginjo by Ippo-self!
One we have not had at home yet 🎶.
I was watching the drama "Arabashiri" with the wife when it came out, so I picked it up!
It's the drama effect 💦.
Unlike Shichida, it has a clean, sharp and crisp taste.
It's perfect for the hot summer months, and this one might be better to pair with yakitori. 🙆♀️
Thank you for the food 🙏🙏.
☀️
It's called light nigori, but it's quite nigori 🤍.
The flavor and sweetness of the rice🌾 is overwhelming.
The slight carbonation adds freshness and a little bitterness in the aftertaste, which is standard for nigori sake ❓
The taste is thick and full of rice 🤗.
Jay & Nobby, good evening 😄.
Ibuki-san, it was like a straight-up royal road nigori, the level of which made me sigh 😮💨 🤩.
Hirotogawa-san is there too, Fukushima has a high level of nigori sake 🤗.
I bought Jungin at the same time as Junmai sake of Ippo-self that was sold in the next town before❗.
I tried to compare them, but I drank the Junmai a long time ago😅.
It has a delicious and refreshing Fukushima-like flavor 😋 It's a versatile sake that's good during dinner or to drink alone 🎵.
Good morning, Noodles 😃Ippppo self it's good 😋 I realized I haven't had it for almost a year... 😨😨 It's not too sweet so you can drink it as much as you want 🎵.
Good morning, Mr. King of Noodles and Sake!
I'm not sure if it's a waste of time to buy different specs to compare, or if it's a waste of time to actually drink it 🤣.
Hi Manachy 😃
As you said, it's delicious, well-balanced with just the right amount of sweetness 🎵I can't drink one step self easily, so it's very precious to me!
For evening consumption.
Purchased at Fukushima Prefecture Osaka office specializing in Japanese sake: 🙆♂️
I have been interested in this brand for a while, but there are no special distributors in Osaka, so this was my first purchase.
This bottle is fruity, moderately sweet and mild.
I like the taste, it was delicious!
Good evening, Tatsu-san 🌛Congratulations on getting Ippoumi at the Osaka Satellite Office in Fukushima Prefecture, aka Salaryman's hard to get to restaurant 🎉🤣Ippoumi is well balanced, complete and delicious 😋.
Hi Nemuchi!
I see you are off on weekends and holidays, I never knew that 😳
Then this is the privilege of being off on weekdays lol
This is the first time I've had a bottle of Ippou myself, and it was a very good and stable one 😆.
The aroma is sweet and mild. The mouthfeel is mild, with no gassy feeling, and a thick texture. The sweetness spreads and at the same time, a slightly bitter aftertaste remains. One step ahead 😭.
I prefer it without the gassiness, as I feel the contrast with the bitterness stands out more.
This is also a souvenir of the cherry blossom viewing.
The aroma is not too strong...
and this one tastes like nothing I've ever had 😳
Sweet with a hint of bitterness and light and refreshing✨
Light, but it makes a statement when drunk after a meal 😳.
It reset my slightly bitter bamboo shoots, croquettes with lots of sauce, and garlicky fried chicken with just one sip ✨.
It was similar to the feeling I had when I went outside after a bad day, only to be blown by a fresh but strong yet enveloping warm wind that took all the bad things with it. (Am I tired?)
At a soba noodle restaurant in Kamakura.
The moment it was brought to me, it smelled so good!
Like pineapple type?
Fruity and very nice 😊.
I can gobble it up on its own👍
I knew it,
I reconfirmed that I like nigori fizzy type 🍶.
It's a holiday and the weather is fine, so I'm going touring.
Stalking and photographing the Toyokuni Sake Brewery, which brews my favorite sake, Ippodo, in the town of Furudono.
And moreover, the cherry blossoms of Koshidai in full bloom, which is rare to see in Japan.
We were so satisfied that we went home and immediately started drinking in the garden. Of course, I was accompanied by Ippo! (purchased in advance).
The fire-roasted Junmai sake is still very much in the Ippouki style of sweetness, umami, and tangy acidity, but it is more subdued and well-balanced than the Nama-shu, and is the star by itself! However, it also goes well with meals!
I like Ippoumai after all!
Hi mikomichio 😃
The 4th photo! I thought it was a beautiful cherry blossom 🌸 and when I touched it and looked at the full view, the contrast with the flowers in the foreground is brilliant ‼️ You are the best step yourself from touring 🤗
