Shizuoka Business Trip ⑱!
I bought a bottle of Taniizumi when I was back in Ishikawa over the weekend 😀 It's from Taniizumi Sake Brewery x Yoshida Sake Brewery 😙.
The aroma is banana-like and refreshing 😊It is gentle on the palate, with a little bit of umami from the sake's unblended character and a refreshing aftertaste 😚👍.
Tanizumi is another local brand that I like, it is a delicious sake that reminds me of Noto's recovery 🥳👍.
One of the projects to stop Noto's sake.
Taniizumi Junmai Ginjo Hyakumangoku No Shiro" from Tsuruno Sake Brewery, which could not be sold due to the Noto earthquake, is used as part of the brewing water and brewed at Yoshida Sake Brewery in Fukui, known for "Tedorigawa".
I am glad that I wanted to try Hyakumangoku No Shiro.
Beautiful sweetness and mouthfeel.
Like muscat and peach.
Pleasantly slightly effervescent.
Go for it, Noto sake brewery!
My colleague brought me this sake 🍶.
Don't stop the Noto sake!
It is a friendship brew with Tsuruno Sake Brewery and Yoshida Sake Brewery! It seems that Noto still has a long way to go before it is fully recovered 😢I sincerely hope for a quick recovery.
I have had the sake rice "Ishigawamon" from Tedorigawa in the past, and I have an image of how delicious it was 😆.
This TANISEN also has a nice Ishikawa sake-like zushin feel to it 😋 It's not as zushin as the Kurobelt I had before, but I want to feel this zushin feeling regularly 😁.
Noto Reconstruction Assistance, Part 2.
Sake made in collaboration with Fukuda Sake Brewery, Nagasaki Prefecture.
Wow, how did they get so far?
Sweet, light fizzy, and refreshing.
Bringing Sake to the Year-End Party (Part 1)
Wanting to try a variety of sake rice, I took the plunge and brought sake to the company's year-end party: 8 bottles.
Ishikawa was represented by the Ishikawa tag team of the Don't Stop Sake from Noto series.
Taniizumi Junmai Ginjo-Hyakumangoku No, which could not be sold due to the Noto Peninsula earthquake, was made into a kijoshu, Yoshida Shuzo's specialty.
The light sweetness and slight bitterness of this sake is TANIZUMI⁈Delicious.
Long time no drink a Kijoshu - surprisingly it is not very rich, which is easily drinkable. Quite rich sourness like yogurt and lactic acid - together with some rich sweetness. Again better to be paired with food :)
It is a Ishikawa style sake - rich in texture and more bitter in taste. I think it will be better pair with oily and meaty food, else it will be a little bit too much. The umami and minerals at the end will be a diverse one - depends on whether you like it or not.
The first one this year is Tani Izumi from the Hiran collaboration.
I had bought it in the fall and finally opened the bottle.
It has a mild acidity like a grape. The alcohol level is 14 degrees, so it is easy to drink. I have never had the original TANISEN, so I can't compare it to it, but it is very tasty.
Last February, I had the opportunity to visit Noto Town, which was hit by the disaster, to support the recovery efforts. I happened to pass by Tsuruno Shuzo and remember being horrified by the extent of the damage.
I pray for the earliest possible recovery.
Take home a bottle of this one that you like and drink it at home 🍶.
I hope it will support Noto 😊.
I also wanted to try some of the "Hiran"!
The rice is "Aizan" that survived the disaster, the yeast is Kanazawa yeast, and it is made with the "Namo" yeast that Yutaro Mori, the toji at Mori Sake Brewery, is known for!
The sweetness of the Aizan and the acidity of the yeast is irresistible. The acidity is irresistible!
I was about to drink too much, but I held it in and drank it gratefully 🙏!
It is light, refreshing, and has a light, tasty acidity. It is a delicious sake, just as Mr. Tsuruno says on the label.
Recently, I have started to see the second Makuake brand on the e-commerce sites of some liquor stores here, and I wonder if it is difficult to sell two bottles for 6,600 yen. If you can still get your hands on a bottle, we hope you will drink it along with the first one and help the Noto sake brewery to revive its business. A little while ago, a collaboration sake between Kamikawa Taisetsu Shuzo and Hiyoshi Shuzo of Kinpyo Shirakoma was also released.
Thank you for allowing me to enjoy drinking sake like this today.
