Birthday gift sake No. 3 Speaking of comets, Ricaman is a liquor that I don't get a chance to drink very often because I don't go to Ricaman. It has a mild top-fragrance aroma. It is gorgeous and refreshingly sweet on the palate. It is a versatile type of sake that can be enjoyed with food or on its own. For better or worse, it is an excellent Daiginjo. I think it tastes more open and sweeter on the second day than when it is freshly opened. The design of the sake lid looks just like the one from a while ago😅.

Today I chose sushi, sashimi and comet in the aftermath of yesterday's birthday, and since my son and wife went to bed, I had a luxurious dinner by myself😘. The comet I bought for comparison last time was so good that I bought two bottles for comparison this time too 🤣👍. Tomorrow I'm going to go to Gifu and buy Yamamoto Do, which I've longed for. ‼️ I've been looking for it for about three years now, but when I find a store that carries it, it's always sold out, so I'll make sure to get it this year 🥺. So let's open the bottle: ‼️ The aroma is fruity and the taste is sweet and juicy with almost no bitterness or acidity.

My father bought it for me as a souvenir from his trip to Aomori. The nose has a faintly acidic aroma. In the mouth, there was a delicate acidity from the sake yeast and a calm, gentle sweetness and richness. It was a crisp sake, typical of Sakuta's special pure sake. It was delicious, but it was not so good when it was warmed up 🤔.

Personally, this is my third S Kaze no Mori, and so far it is the closest to the usual Kaze no Mori in terms of flavor (banana and melon-like), or perhaps it has the same flavor as the usual Kaze no Mori. However, it's still refreshing with zero low-pasteurization feeling. I guess it's hard to feel the intention of this sake for the third glass... 4.50

This Sake is very interesting. It has a citrus flavor like grapefruit. The flavor really cleanses the pallet.

Junmai nama-shu YAMADANISHIKI 90 Rice polishing ratio 90%❗️ This is the challenge sake of Michiko Urasato, the female toji of Yui. Yamada Nishiki is brewed at 90% polishing ratio without polishing. The taste of the rice is rich and intense❗️, but there is a light fizzy feeling. There is also a little bit of orage mixed in. This is why it is milder and softer in the mouth than I expected. The aftertaste is refreshing. It's amazing. Michiko Urasato, Toji 💡. I had it with ginger yaki, and it was delicious. The sake and side dishes go well together😆. I've heard that if you let it sit for a few days, you'll get a different taste of the rice, so I stopped at halfway today. I heard it's also good at different temperatures.

Tonight, a little early in the evening & first in the series, a Fukunoka Yamahai Jungin Nakakkumi Unfiltered Nama from Kunigon ✨. The aroma is mild cucumber, melon 🍈 The taste has just the right amount of rice and honey-like sweetness, followed by a layer of acidity and spiciness that makes it very easy to drink and I love it 😋😋😋😋.
