Higashi-Hiroshima Sake Brewery Tour
It's amazing how you can see so many sake breweries on foot! I got drunk just by tasting.
I drank a lot of different kinds of sake, but my palate has changed, and I think I've come to like the regular, year-round, laid-back sake more than the fresh ones from February and March.
I was supposed to go for the brewery's limited editions, but I was satisfied with just tasting them! LOL!
This is the one I brought back to my hotel room to enjoy.
It soaked into my tired walking body and lulled me into a good sleep.
I feel at home with the ones that have been aged and fire-roasted. It is easy to handle.

- There is a stage inside the counter where rakugo performances are held and silent film screenings are held.
- Many entertainers visit the restaurant in adoration of the proprietress. Not only rakugo storytellers, but also Fujio Akatsuka in the past.
- On this day, we arrived at the restaurant for the launch party after the silent film screening. I enjoy a delicious meal of omelet, potato salad, and deep-fried and soaked eggplant.
- The after-party was also held at the same restaurant. The ginger pickled in miso was delicious, with both the taste of miso and the aroma of ginger. The beer and plum soda were both delicious.
