The fifth brewery I visited in Saijo, Kamoizumi Sake Brewery.
It is located at the far end of the east side of the brewery, and I thought it was okay since it was far away, but I was surprised to find that there were still some tickets left, so I visited.
It was a great decision to stretch my legs!
We were able to sit comfortably in the renovated western-style store.
Zouga Summer Junmai Somewhat spicy and light.
Junmai Ginjo Nama Kokkoku, kinky, medium, refreshing.
cokun Soupy and fruity, (personally) reminiscent of cherries.
Three different tastes, cokun was my favorite. It reminded me of the peach-colored nigori of "Amezure," a very good beer.
Three coupons for a tipsy stroll turned into a limited edition Junmai sake from this brewery. There is quite a mismatch between the brands offered with the coupons and the brands I wanted to try, so I thought afterward that it would be a little dangerous to buy a large amount of coupons at the beginning. That's how attractive each brewery's paid tasting is, and that's why it's worth visiting.
Please make sure to check the days and times when the breweries are open.

Kamoizumi's booth.
I tasted Kamoizumi, thinking I had only had it before registering with Sake-no-wa.
◉Kamoizumi Junmai Ginjo Shuizumi Honjikomi
I thought the flavor was quite robust, but was told that it had been aged for one year. It has a rounded umami with a mature taste. I had drunk it a long time ago as a gift from someone from Hiroshima, but I remembered the label, but not the taste.
◉Kamoizumi Junmai Ginjo ROCK HOPPER
A summer sake made with the same rice as Shusen. It is a refreshingly fruity and easy to drink.
◉Kamoizumi Junmai Ginjo Yamabukiiro no Shu
This one is two years old and has a very dry aroma.
It has a matured feel, but not unpleasantly so, and the acidity and umami are well balanced.
◉Zouga Junmai
A full-bodied type that you can linger on forever. The rice flavor is round and full, with a strong and delicious flavor. A pure rice sake with no frills.
Kamoizumi makes a great aged sake.
