Jungin🍶Gohyakumangoku from Fukui Prefecture🌾. Here is the fifth and last sake. We finished with sake from my sister's hometown, Fukui, where she is retiring. The ladies all commented on how hard it was. A bit like wine. It's mellow. We had it with some fried food😅😋. Umi to @Takadanobaba 20241127

Junmai Ginjo🍶Yamahai brewed, unfiltered, raw ✨Sake mother: Yamadanishiki from Shiga Prefecture🌾Moromi: Omachi from Okayama Prefecture🌾. Here is the 4th glass with the sea. It has a strong grassy taste with a burnt aftertaste. Probably delicious when heated. The Kanpachi nameko (a kind of rice cake) is served gently. Chestnut flavor as you drink it. Junmai Ginjo🍶. A gift from a colleague 🙏 He said he likes this brewery and visits several times a year. It is pleasantly sweet and sour. A little bit of a schwarziness. Dry aftertaste. On the rocks 🧊 increases the spiciness, but it is easy to drink. Has a heavy back. Heating up ♨️ increases both sweetness and spiciness. Good for simmered flounder. My wife says it doesn't feel sweet on the tongue, but sweet on the upper jaw 😅 nice acidity is pleasant.
