They have a good selection of local sake, and I chose "Yuri", which I had never had before, and it is from the same brewery as Aizu Nakasho! I heard that this sake is brewed by a mother and daughter who are both sake brewing technicians! It has a soft sweetness at first, but eventually it becomes slightly dry and pleasant to drink. Fukushima Pref. Ten-ei Village, Iwase-gun. Suzunoi Sake Brewery. Jyuzuki Tokubetsu Tokubetsu Junmai Shu, Natural Style, Unfiltered Nama Shu. I had never seen a label like this before, and I didn't know what it meant, but I bought it right away. I bought it at the Osaka office of Fukushima Prefecture, which is difficult for businessmen to get to. I had it cold. The color was a pale greenish yellow. The nose has a mild, green apple-like aroma. The mouthfeel is juicy with a slight viscosity. Weak acidity is felt at first, and when it rolls off, there is a faint burnt scent. Next, a slightly soft sweetness stays flat and faintly in the mouth for a long time. After swallowing, one thinks, "Oh, please don't let the sweetness go away!" Then, at the end, a slight umami comes out, and the aftertaste is a faint, gentle pungency. It is a strange sensation like a lingering aftertaste that lingers for a long time. (Holy shit!!!🍶🍶🍶🍶 The last day of GW in no time 😭 To close out the holiday, we opened a bottle of our local sake, Shirakiku from Okunoto 😀 It is a recovery sake brewed by Yukawa Sake Brewery 😊WOM gave us the information and we were able to purchase it 🙏. Nice fruit-like aroma typical of Okunoto's Shirakiku😊Elegant sweetness and umami are as delicious as before 😚👍Gentle acidity spreads slowly and disappears with a clean aftertaste✨. It's still the same delicious sake that is typical of Okunoto Shirakiku 🥳.

I found this Fukushima sake at Aeon today. I was wondering if I should buy it last time I was there and didn't, but I was curious so I bought it this time. The label said it was dry, so... it's definitely spicy ☺️. It's delicious and it's only about 1,000 yen so it's easy on the pocket.

Newly registered brand. Since the sake brewer could not be registered, the new brand is "Aizu Otokoyama" from Otokoyama Shuzo Brewery in Aizu Misato Town, Fukushima Prefecture.
