Purchased at Shirakikuya in Tomita, Takatsuki City, Osaka for about 3000 yen. Sake is expensive these days. I was looking for a junmai (pure rice) sake with about 60% polished rice, but it turned out to be 61%! And the alcohol content is 16 degrees. It is 100% Miyamanishiki with reduced use of pesticides. This is my first sake from Nagano Prefecture. It has a nice mouthfeel, but it is very robust. It is cut and clean. After two weeks of drinking, it mellows out. It is a bottle that makes you think that sake is good.

Hakone Drink Comparison Set (2) On March 1, after a year-long event, I went on a trip to Hakone as a way of consolation! The local sake was served to compare with Japanese kaiseki. It was my first time to try Hakonezan! This is the spiciest sake in the group. It is a dry ginjo-shu as you might imagine, but it is moderately rich and very good as a mid-meal drink. Of course, it goes well with ingredients as they are, but it also goes well with dishes that have been added, such as those using dashi (Japanese soup stock)!

This is the first time I've seen this warehouse. The rice used is Maikaze. As the name suggests, everything, including the yeast, is from Gunma, and it seems to be an annual event. The mouthfeel is mild. It is bitter-sweet with a slight banana aroma. It gently finishes with a hint of umami. It seems to have a lot of depth. Well-balanced and cohesive sake. I will close my Gunma trip with "Akagisan" and "Funao Taki"! Sweet and sugary aroma like sugar. I found a suspicious looking liquor. Is it for export? I saw it in the lap of Asahara Sake Brewery and bought it. It is a carbonated sake with low alcohol content. Purchased at Vinos Yamazaki in Kyoto after buying Daina at a liquor store in Saiin After this, I went back to the liquor store on the 2nd floor of the Yaichi main building and to Takimoto - Isetan 😊. I really wanted the Vinos limited edition Isoboast, but the date was a year ago, so I avoided it💦. It's also February 24 😅.
