At home. First time in Saitama. I couldn't find Saitama easily, so I searched by the name of the prefecture and finally found it. The aroma is grainy and nutty. The mouthfeel is smooth and fresh, and it has a sweet taste of grain. The sourness and bitterness were not so strong. From the label, I thought it would be heavy, but it was easy to drink.

I found a suspicious looking liquor. Is it for export? I saw it in the lap of Asahara Sake Brewery and bought it. It is a carbonated sake with low alcohol content. It is carbonated after the fact, so it has a great shwashy feeling. It is good for a quick drink on a hot day, but if you want to feel the carbonation, I honestly think beer or a highball would be better. I don't think this is what people call "Japan".

This is the first time I've seen this warehouse. The rice used is Maikaze. As the name suggests, everything, including the yeast, is from Gunma, and it seems to be an annual event. The mouthfeel is mild. It is bitter-sweet with a slight banana aroma. It gently finishes with a hint of umami. It seems to have a lot of depth. Well-balanced and cohesive sake. I️ would like to visit Funao Falls too!

After a few drinks, it was quite late, so I headed home while eating a golden dharma bento commemorating the 140th anniversary of Takasaki Station. I will close my Gunma trip with "Akagisan" and "Funao Taki"! Sweet and sugary aroma like sugar. The taste is smooth and silky, and while it has a Gunma sake-like quality, it tastes more like a sweet sake derived from brewer's alcohol. There is nothing outstanding about it, but it is a perfect match for ekiben (boxed lunches), with its unobtrusiveness, slight sweetness, and crispness!

Rice used is unknown The whooper swan print is beautiful. Most sake with the name "Josen" has the taste of "the best sake," but this sake is well-balanced and has a beautiful mouthfeel. The umami can be felt gradually, and it is not sticky, so you can enjoy it easily. It is a good sake. ❗️ The 92nd cup of sake

A gift from Sawanoizumi The Jun Dai I drank before was a Miyagi sake, beautifully light and dry, and I felt (selfishly) the earnestness of the toji (master brewer). I had an image of a modest, but firm, light, dry Kura. And then there is this special pure Sawanoizumi. It does not have much of a topping aroma, but the mouthfeel is surprisingly sweet and umami! It is sweet to the level of the Hitakami, and the robust umami is also very tasty! It has a light acidity and bitterness, followed by a refreshing sharpness. It's good! This is good! The price is relatively cheap, about 1300 yen for a four-pack, but it is convincing enough! Ishikoshi Brewery. I underestimated you. Sorry about that. Sake is so interesting because there are new discoveries even at the foot of the table like this! Thank you very much!

Honjozo 🍶 fresh stored sake✨ A good, albeit alsodense, taste. Dry aftertaste. Slightly bitter. Mild when paired with salmon. ☺️ Sweetness when paired with sea bream. It's delicious. Spicy when served with chawanmushi (steamed egg custard). Swordfish stew is the best match👍I enjoyed changing the taste to match the meal 😆. Guest House Shimodoso @ Minamisanriku 20230827

Here is the 5th drink of the comparison at HAMA BAR in Kashima City Kohime Junmai Sake This one has a distinctly different taste from the other four. The color, the grain-derived aroma, the taste... Classic type with strong umami and acidity. ❗️ Suitable as a food sake

Purchased with Tenryo sake cup at Okuhiroya in Kayashima. They stocked it because it was well received at a Saga sake tasting event held for sake retailers. Probably not normally available in the Kansai region. The rice is made from Hokkaido's Kitashizuku. I know Nabeshima also uses Kitashizuku. It has a beautiful sake quality for the rice polishing ratio. There is a slight sweetness, but it is also slightly thin and heavy. It also has a nutty taste. It tastes like nothing else.

HAMA BAR⑤. The last one is "Kouhime" on the far left. It has a slightly sour taste and is very impressive. My friend said she could tell even blind. Really? The DEAR MY PRINCESS on the menu seems to have been very popular this season. It seems to have been very popular this season and has been sold out. I got the third one, RISE, instead.

The rice used is Hitogochiki from Nagano Prefecture. Refreshing and crisp aftertaste, just like a summer sake. The sweetness is moderate, but the umami is also present in its own way. It is a sake that needs to be cooled down to the perfect temperature.

Today is my day off, so I took a walk around Sunpu Castle, Kunouzan Toshogu Shrine, and Nihon Taira! I've always wanted to visit Kunouzan and Nihondaira, but the view of the Pacific Ocean and Mt. Fuji from Nihondaira is fantastic👍. On the way home, I took a sip. When I opened the bottle, it had a melon-like aroma. The mouthfeel is refreshing, but the melon-like sweet and astringent taste comes through in a jiffy, giving it a gorgeous flavor. However, the assertion itself gradually settles down and changes to a spiciness, so it is not too heavy for a nama-zake and is easy to drink! Tomorrow is the second half of Shizuoka life. I'll do my best!

Yamamoto Honke had a store at Sendai Mitsukoshi in conjunction with the Kyoto Exhibition. I look forward to Yamamoto Honke's "tarekuchi" every year at this time of the year, but it seems to take about one more week before it is shipped, so I did not get it this year either. The aroma is a fresh ginjo aroma. The mouthfeel is fruity, fresh, sweet, and juicy, with a light acidity and bitterness from the aftertaste of alcohol. It has a high quality, classical, and sharp taste, and is very satisfying to drink. Thank you very much!

A "sacred" store found near Nishiki Market in Kyoto. Great cold drink when you are finally able to sit down after a long day of walking 😀. It was slightly carbonated and went down my throat so well I didn't mind the 19% alcohol content 😅. You can't tell the alcohol content in modern sakes. Beautiful construction.

(*) 🍶🍶🍶🍶 It was hot today, so I had a bottle of Dobrock. It's my first time to drink in Tokyo😙It was separated so I mixed it up and opened the bottle. It was very carbonated and I spilled a lot of water 😛 It was so fizzy it was like pouring cider into a glass. It's not too sweet and the grains of rice are delicious. It's also good on a hot day as it's chilled 😀.

I carefully opened the bottle and it took about 15 minutes. It's a sake that you can eat with your eyes, with the grains of rice usually recognizable. Overall, the strong gaseous feeling gives a swooshing impression, so it's refreshing to drink. I liked it.

Omachi rice + Hakuto yeast used Junmai sake produced by the TAKEO 20 Project, a collaboration of agriculture, commerce, industry, and university students, using specially cultivated Omachi rice from Tatebe-cho, Kita-ku, Okayama City. The label looks modern! This one is definitely fruity 😆. Fruity sweet and sour Light and easy to drink Hiruzen style yakisoba noodles and umaumaumauma 🐎. I bought a lot of kamaboko at Sakaiminato because they are easy to carry and store 🐟. The crab has a very interesting shape and I can't stop smiling just looking at it 🦀 🦀 🦀 🦀. ISHICHI Junmai Ginjo Asahimai Made with water from the headwaters of the Takahashi River Unfiltered unpasteurized sake Price: 1,345 yen (tax included) October 06, 2022 Purchased at Tenmanya Kurashiki I bought this bottle on a business trip to Okayama. This is my first bottle of "Ishichi" Asahi rice, one of the brands that got me into the sake swamp. Rice used is something from Iwate Prefecture and germinated brown rice from Shiwa-machi glutinous rice Classified under the Sake Tax Law as "Other Brewed Sake It is a so-called craft saké, but it is no different from ordinary sake. The fruity sweetness spreads quickly, and the umami is also conveyed clearly. The citrusy bitterness tightens up the whole experience. The lingering aftertaste seems to be slowly fading away. It is not flashy, but it is good for a leisurely sipping. However, 3,000 yen for a four-pack is a bit expensive!
