About 1 gou of sake at the second store.
This sake is brewed in Saijo 🍶.
As the name implies, it is a bright yellow color.
The taste is complex and mellow with a sense of grain with a sense of maturity.
The combination with bonito tataki was delicious 😊.
⭐⭐⭐⭐
Kamoizumi brewer came to the store to sell in-store. He said "This is our signature product ❗️ for sure😊" and took it home👍
It's a beautiful golden color because it's not filtered with activated carbon.
It won the highest gold medal at the 2025 National Heated Sake Contest. The brewer says it is recommended to be warmed to lukewarm.
I preferred it cold 😊.
Mellow aroma and sweetness, full-bodied brown sugar-like flavor. It has a sharpness, but not too spicy, and is easy to drink without lingering aftertaste.
Rice used: Hiroshima Yatan and Shin Chimoto (100% domestic rice)
Rice polishing ratio: 60

1,650 yen/720ml at Liquors Alpark
A bottle of sake bought at a supermarket. It is a local sake from Saijo🍶.
It was delicious, light and easy to drink with a sweet taste of rice.
It had a calm taste even though it was a draft sake.
I would like to visit the sake brewery street in Saijo at least once 😌.
I thought this was the best sake I had ever tasted after visiting a sake brewery in Saijo, Hiroshima! I thought this was the best sake. This sake is sold by weight at Kamoizumi Sake Brewery's Sake Sengenkan.
It is a very tasty sake with a robust flavor and umami (deliciousness). This is my favorite sake so far.
a gift
I drank it chilled.
Was this room temperature, lukewarm or hot?
I was wondering.
It says on the back 💦.
It seems to be good at room temperature to lukewarm.
This is a mistake I often make.
I have a bad habit of touching various appliances without reading the manual.
I've tried many times to be careful, but I just can't be.
But I can't be careful.
Saijo Sake Brewery Tour (1)
I heard that Hiroshima Castle will be closed soon, so I have been touring the 100 best castles in Hiroshima and other cities.
And also in Saijo 🍶.
As you enter the sake brewery street, you can see many chimneys and the atmosphere is full of excitement 🎶.
First, we went to the store of Kamoizumi Sake Brewery.
The brewery staff explained everything to us in detail.
And he was very good at recommending 💦.
The four free tastings all had a strong, umami flavor, but were surprisingly refreshing and spicy!
I got the Sandesi, a fresh, easy-drinking unpasteurized sake!
I drank it on an overnight stay in Hiroshima City, and although it lost some of its freshness due to being carried around, it tasted more rounded and delicious than the tasting 😊.
Visited Fukuyama Castle that day!
We had Onomichi Ramen for lunch 🍜.
Good evening, Pon-chan 😃.
Your trip to Hiroshima with its excellent museums and 🍶 is intoxicating ☺️
Did you get to ride the tram that started from the 2nd floor of Hiroshima station?
Saijo is a sake brewery along with Nada and Fushimi 😍I look forward to seeing more of your posts on your sake brewery tour 😊.
Good evening, Pon 😃.
I love the castle and sake brewery tour ✨ I would love to visit Saijo too🤗.
My 100 castles tour started with Hiroshima Castle, so I never got to see the closed castle 😭 my trip to Matsue was also about getting to see the castle and 🍶: ☺️
I'm looking forward to your posts on castle life and sake life 😁.
Good evening, Pon-chan! I love your trip to Hiroshima 😄There are so many places to see, aren't there? I'm jealous ✨It's great to be able to drink sake in your hometown.
Good evening, Pon 😀
I like the sake brewery tour in Saijo 😀.
Actually, my family also collects red seals and sake brewery tours as well as castle seals😇.
I would love to visit Saijo and go around 😇.
Good evening, Pon 😃.
I see you were in Hiroshima😊.
Hiroshima Castle is closed, but the area around San-no-maru and Peace Wing has been redeveloped and is very lively.
I haven't been up to the castle since elementary school field trips 🤔.
Good evening, Pon-chan 😃.
What😱Hiroshima castle is closing 😭
I was loosely collecting stamps so that's a shock 😅I also want to stop by Fukuyama castle because it's right in front of the station ✨I have to run in 😤.
Good morning, Pon-chan!
I see that Hiroshima Castle is closed💦.
I see you're doing a good job of drinking this time 🎵.
Saijo's chimneys would be so exciting to see 😍.
Saijo is a brewery I want to visit someday too 😋.
Hi Aladdin 🐦.
I didn't get to ride the tram because I was in a car 😢I missed the Kyoto streetcars that I rode once upon a time 😊.
I didn't drink much this time but it was fun 🎶.
Pon.
Good evening.
I would love to visit castles with alcohol 🍶🤩It would be nice to have a drink while looking at the castles 😘The castles I visited recently are Himeji castle and Osaka castle 🤣for my children's study!
Good morning, Pon-chan!
I see you went to [Saijo] where only the name of the station remains now 🥰The sake breweries that remain like the streets of Kyoto's Go board are very distinctive. ✨️
[Fukuyama Castle is directly connected to the Shinkansen station, so it is very accessible.
Hello, Maa🐦.
I'm sorry to hear about the Matsue Castle! I have quite a few places to visit with castles and sake breweries, so it's easy to set a travel itinerary 😆 Hiroshima Castle, it looks like it's going to be earthquake proofed and restored so you can see it again 😊I'm sure you'll be able to see it when it opens 😉.
Hi Sashi 🐦.
It makes me feel better when I see a lot of chimneys 😆🎶It was the first day of the event so I could hardly buy anything, but it was fun just to go around tasting 😊I wish I could go during the event if I wanted to 😁.
Hi Nochi 🐦.
It seems that the building itself will remain, but due to its age and lack of earthquake-proof equipment, it will no longer be accessible 😢.
I wonder when we will be able to enter Nagoya Castle as well 💦.
Good evening, Yasbaye!
You have 3 collections 😳‼️ as expected of Mr. and Mrs. Yasbay, everything is out of the ordinary 😆👍It's easy to plan a trip when you have a collection 😊On the contrary, are you too busy? 😆😆
Good evening, soumacho🦉.
I was visiting your garden 😊I had not been to the city since I was a university student, so I was surprised to see how much things have changed! I was also surprised to see so many foreign tourists 😳
Good morning, ichiro18 🐥.
I was surprised to see that you were able to collect stamps! I'm surprised to see you here 😳It is certified as one of the 100 best castles, so you may be able to get a stamp even when the castle is closed 🤔That wouldn't make sense 😅I hope you will visit Saijo too 🎶.
Good morning, ma-ki🐥.
I'm a little less active with alcohol this time 😂I'm on my first day & not fully recovered 💦 but I've been trying a little bit of it because I didn't want to miss out on not drinking 😁.
I'm sure ma-ki- would love to be on your travel list 😊.
Good morning, Koizo 🐥!
Himeji Castle! The entrance fee will be reduced from 1000 yen to 2500 yen from March 😆👍I also want to go before the fee goes up 😁😁I don't want to be cold and have to put my feet on the ground in the winter 😂.
Hi Jay & Nobby 🐦.
It must be about 2 years ago now, time flies 😌I haven't tasted a lot this time either, so I would love to visit the event you are going to next time Hiro 😆.
Hi Jive 🐦.
Yes, you've been to Fukuyama a lot 😊 no matter how you look at it, it's through the castle grounds 🚄 😆 I'd like to visit Onomichi again next time 🎶.
Purchased at last month's Saijo Sake Festival
Cheers to the traditional sake toast 🍶 by Bamboo Sake!
I can't believe it's already been a month 😂I'm off to Hiroshima for another day trip next week for something else ✊.
Cold sake
Slightly yellow
Muscat acidic aroma, ripe apricot fruit aroma
Calm impression
Good balance of mild sweetness and acidity
Medium aftertaste with a slightly long aftertaste
They said it's Akaban Omachi's cargo tag sake! And it's freshly squeezed! It has a strong sweetness!
But it doesn't have the fresh and fruity feeling of the first time I drank it 🤔....
Aroma of rice that is also fresh and fruity.
When you drink it, it has a green apple flavor and a sense of rice malt. Refreshing acidity.
It is moderately spicy and has a fine, clean mouthfeel,
It is moderately dry and has a fine, clean mouthfeel, but you can also taste the umami flavor.
A good hiyaoroshi.
Preference 4/5
