Tasting at Kamoizumi. There was no one else there, so I was able to take my time tasting. This sake is 100% Yamadanishiki. It had a familiar flavor and was delicious. I guess it was because most of the sake we tasted were from the Hiroshima Hachitan series.

[Fill in the Map Series No.6] Hiroshima Kamoizumi Shuzo [Kamoizumi Junmai Ginjo Shuizumi Honjikomi] ✨. Is the "." in "sake" in the center of the label a logo? Is it a brand name? I'm not sure how to read it lol. It's a Junmai Ginjo, but the aroma has a grainy feel to it. When poured, it's a bit of a yamabuki color, with a hint of old sake in the beginning, but as it progresses, it develops a nice richness and flavor✨.

About 1 gou of sake at the second store. This sake is brewed in Saijo 🍶. As the name implies, it is a bright yellow color. The taste is complex and mellow with a sense of grain with a sense of maturity. The combination with bonito tataki was delicious 😊.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kamoizumi brewer came to the store to sell in-store. He said "This is our signature product ❗️ for sure😊" and took it home👍 It's a beautiful golden color because it's not filtered with activated carbon. It won the highest gold medal at the 2025 National Heated Sake Contest. The brewer says it is recommended to be warmed to lukewarm. I preferred it cold 😊. Mellow aroma and sweetness, full-bodied brown sugar-like flavor. It has a sharpness, but not too spicy, and is easy to drink without lingering aftertaste. Rice used: Hiroshima Yatan and Shin Chimoto (100% domestic rice) Rice polishing ratio: 60 Alcohol content: 16%. Sake meter: +1.0 Acidity: 1.6 Yeast used: KA-1 1,650 yen/720ml at Liquors Alpark

A bottle of sake bought at a supermarket. It is a local sake from Saijo🍶. It was delicious, light and easy to drink with a sweet taste of rice. It had a calm taste even though it was a draft sake. I would like to visit the sake brewery street in Saijo at least once 😌.

I thought this was the best sake I had ever tasted after visiting a sake brewery in Saijo, Hiroshima! I thought this was the best sake.　This sake is sold by weight at Kamoizumi Sake Brewery's Sake Sengenkan. It is a very tasty sake with a robust flavor and umami (deliciousness). This is my favorite sake so far.

a gift I drank it chilled. Was this room temperature, lukewarm or hot? I was wondering. It says on the back 💦. It seems to be good at room temperature to lukewarm. This is a mistake I often make. Saijo Sake Brewery Tour (1) I heard that Hiroshima Castle will be closed soon, so I have been touring the 100 best castles in Hiroshima and other cities. And also in Saijo 🍶. As you enter the sake brewery street, you can see many chimneys and the atmosphere is full of excitement 🎶. First, we went to the store of Kamoizumi Sake Brewery. The brewery staff explained everything to us in detail. And he was very good at recommending 💦. The four free tastings all had a strong, umami flavor, but were surprisingly refreshing and spicy! I got the Sandesi, a fresh, easy-drinking unpasteurized sake! I drank it on an overnight stay in Hiroshima City, and although it lost some of its freshness due to being carried around, it tasted more rounded and delicious than the tasting 😊. Visited Fukuyama Castle that day! We had Onomichi Ramen for lunch 🍜.
