I went on a business trip to Aomori the other day and brought this as a souvenir. I vaguely matched it with squid or tuna. I thought it was probably a local luxury sake. It was a very tasty and elegant sake.

It is a Hakkouda Oroshi Gin-Sen 🍶. The daiginjo I've had before is 100% Hanabukiyuki, but this one has koji as Hanabukiyuki🌾 and kake as Mashigure🍚. The top aroma is slightly sweet. When you put it in your mouth, it has a slight sweetness and a nice sharpness. It is less sweet than the Hakkouda Oroshi Daiginjo in a cup that I bought at Shin-Aomori station last year. It was delicious. ✨️

I wanted a dry, dry drink. There are days when I'm in that mood. You might say don't choose raw, but I realized it after the sake bottle came. I enjoyed it with yudofu. It fits my mood today. When I think of dry, dry sake, I think of Niigata, Hiroshima, and Kochi. I admit to disagreeing.

I've never seen this brand before. It's mostly consumed in Niigata Prefecture, so it's not sold outside the prefecture. I was lucky enough to drink it 😄. It's chilled but very juicy, and it's a true trendy combination of sweetness and refreshment. I drank it at the end of a drinking party, so there wasn't much left of the knob, but it's a very powerful drink that works well on its own. I'd really like to taste it at home, so if I find it somewhere else, I'll definitely buy it 😙. But I drank too much yesterday 😨

Quite a special one as you seldom see Honjozo namazake in the market. This version of Year of Snake sake comes with clear rice taste, clean and crispy style. Also coming with the melon banana namezake taste. An interesting style to try which demonstrate the rice feel!

Sangu is the first time in about 2 years of sales. It has a solid body with the power of Aizan, but it feels lighter than the last time I drank it. It also seems a little sweeter... Is it my imagination? I have no complaints, and I still like the same type, but I wonder if my taste buds have changed? When I evaluate it calmly, I can taste the flavor and the sharpness is good. It is not fruity, but it is slightly sweet and well-balanced. It is a good sake!

Iga tasted sake from Nabari. We were served a five-year-old aged sake. The amber-colored sake was full of flavor that had been nurtured and matured over the years. It was a truly delicious sake with a dense flavor.

It was too good to drink, but I opened the bottle because I thought it was better to drink it before it got twitchy. We drank it cold. The first aroma is mild, citrusy, and alkali aroma. The color is clear with a slight yellow tinge. The taste starts with a slightly sharp acidity, and the nose is filled with a fluffy, mature aroma and a gradually swelling umami flavor. A slightly bitter taste lingers on the tongue and is slightly spicy. Maybe not my favorite... I think it is suitable for warming, so I tried heating it up. First trip to Nobee Yokocho this season! When heated, the acidity mellows out, the sweetness spreads as if the entire tongue is coated, the umami is more easily felt, and the acidity is calmed down. It is best when heated from about 50℃ and cooled down to lukewarm or lukewarm. I tried it when pyonpyon told me that heating it up softens the edginess, and it was perfect 😉.
