Back to Iwate sake, the fourth bottle. The first person I met was a big sake lover. He was very enthusiastic about mastering the store's Iwate sake. It had a nice umami flavor. Maybe heated sake would be good too. The limit is near.

Second bottle. This is a good balance. Easy to drink. Though it was starting to get a little suspicious. The pairing of Iwate sake, Ginga Ginga and Yuko no Soukou, is interesting because of the individuality of each brewery!

Morioka, business trip. It was a group activity. I couldn't go to the restaurant Eririn told me about, but I felt the high level of Iwate sake and Morioka's restaurants. It was an ordinary izakaya, but it was reasonably priced and delicious. And the sake lineup. First of all, here is Nanbu Bijin, safe and stable. The sake rice is Iwate's original Ginotome. The IWC Champion is also a good choice.

Lost and Found Series. This summer has been busy💦. This one is very rude to say that I took advantage of the time I had to give and forget organization. No wonder they call it a genius, Tochigi is amazing. It has a light touch from the citrusy aroma, and the rice flavor and sweetness, it's dark but clear, so it's easy to drink. It was the kind you can't go wrong with. Next time, I would like to try Yumesasara.

Hiyoroshi, one summer over, another one over in my fridge at home. 2023By. Fruity, but maybe a bit strong in flavor. Somewhat robust. I'm having a hard time finding other hiyaoroshi, but I want to buy another one this year. I'm sorting out my past drinks.

Tomorrow is Morioka. Not really, but here it is. This is a duo brewed by Noto's Kazuma Shuzo and Iwate's Akabu Shuzo. The brewers seem to know each other and went to Iwate to brew together. The sake rice is Yumemizuho, a relatively affordable rice for rice in Ishikawa Prefecture. It was shockingly delicious. It was sweet and had a beautiful acidity. Mr. Akatake is amazing. You make the most of the characteristics of the ingredients. What should I drink in Morioka?

Yamagata, Tsuruoka souvenir. A small Nada in Tohoku? You can never go wrong with Shonai sake. The rice seems to be Sasanishiki, but like the rice, it is light and refreshing. It is a good sake for a meal.

Don't stop Noto's sake! This is a collaborative effort between Noto's stricken breweries and sake breweries from all over Japan, initiated by the Yoshida Sake Brewery in Tedorigawa. This time, Yoshida Shuzo of Hakuryu in Fukui brewed a bottle based on an original recipe by Shirakiku in Okunonoto. It has a strong throat from the delicious sweetness of the rice. The bitterness at the end is especially Shirakiku's. It is made from Gohyakumangoku and Yamadanishiki.

Stop #noto sake! Crafan Sake. It's really tough situation with the earthquake and flood, but I hope farmers and brewers will do their best. We will support them by drinking quietly. Here is an original recipe of Oeyama by Mr. Toji Hoshino of Gunma's Tsuchida Sake Brewery, pretending to be the toji of Noto's Matsunami Brewery. Oeyama with a gusto! It was delicious. Delicious. It is a drink of the past.

The Kazuma Sake Brewery brews with rice from Noto that is equivalent to six times the size of the Tokyo Dome. The rice that could not be brewed due to the Noto Peninsula earthquake was consigned to sake breweries across Japan, not to mention local breweries. We stocked several bottles that were available locally. Gohyakumangoku is brewed by Okazaki Sake Brewery in Kamerei, Shinshu. After all, muscat aroma? The sweetness from the muscat aroma, it is Kamerei. Delicious. This time, the rice fields where sake rice is produced were severely damaged by flooding. We can only drink it, but we would like to support them.

Purchased at Nagano Station MIDORI Shinshu Kurado. Kikusui, a rare sake from Nanshin. It is also famous for its significant contribution to the revival of Takananishiki. It is a refreshing sake, which is rare among recent Shinshu sake, with a rich taste of rice, a little sweetness, and a crisp finish. It is delicious. It is best when paired with oyaki.

Onsen to commemorate the couple's 60th birthday. Doing nothing but relaxing. We chose a local Shinshu Daisetsuken. The aroma is muscat, maybe, but it's nice. The sweetness and riceiness is elegant and fits perfectly with the bitterness of the sweetfish. Shinshu is delicious. I hope the flood damage in Noto will not be too severe.

A trip to Tsuruoka, the spoils of war at the very super Super Shufu no Ten Ekimae Store Eine. The label says Matsuyama Sake Brewery even though it is Fujiya Sake Brewery Honten in Sake-no-wa? Apparently the company name has changed from Fujiya Sake Brewery to Matsuyama Sake Brewery. Well, it is a quintessential example of Yamagata, a prefecture known for its beautiful sake! At room temperature, the flavor of Dewa Sanzu spreads in the mouth. I wonder how it will taste when chilled.

Forgot to post. I saw this one at one of the supermarkets. I often come across Hishiko, but this was my first time to try Motomoto and Mine-no-Hakubai. It was such a sake with a good flavor of rice.

I didn't have much time, so I chose this one from the 2 coins sake list, as I had only drunk the "kafuda". I couldn't drink it slowly, but it was more refreshing or light than Kafuda. It is true that I could feel some acidity, but it was more refreshing. It was as if it came from Niigata.

It is like Echigo-Tsumari sake. It is very light. After Corona is a new thing, but before Corona, I was not much interested in drinking out and was a home drinker. Now, I always drink it on business trips. Finally, I drink on the way to a stopover. I also go to local liquor stores. I have completely changed. But still, Niigata was a kingdom. Next month I will be in Iwate, and the month after that in Niigata. I am looking forward to it.
