Full-bodied rice flavor with a strong aftertaste
Heavy and robust, with an old sake-like flavor.
I think it would lose out if not with mackerel or something like that.
I paired it with salted fish and it was a good match.
A souvenir from a business trip to Niigata. Neige cup ⁈Neige is a Tokamachi's yurukyarakara, a snow fairy. I bought it at Niigata Ponchu-kan. I assumed that the old man was collaborating with Sanrio or some other character, so I did a lot of research and finally found out. I think it is well made. I heard it is also used for the snow firefly trail in Matsunoyama Onsen.
And this sake Matsunoi's Junmai sake is solidly delicious.
Cup sake is very deep.
Special Junmai 🍶
Here is the last 4th cup of Aji no Fue.
Dry sharp ✨ solid taste.
Food is fun to see new things coming out every now and then 😆 I want to eat all of them😅.
We had it on the 2nd floor and it's a spiral staircase so be careful not to drink too much ⚠️

A business trip to Niigata, a famous sake brewery. I feel like I've been posting a lot of regular sake lately, but this is from Matsunoi Sake Brewery in Tokamachi, in the Chuetsu region, where the rice is excellent. Most of the sake is consumed locally, so you don't see this brand very often in Tokyo.
We drank as much as we could from a single bottle. I had always disliked the light and dry category of sake, but I was pleasantly surprised to see how different it was when drunk as an in-between-dinner drink. I even tried heating it up and ended up drinking too much.

The clean taste typical of Gohyakumangoku is followed by the flavor of special pure rice and the aroma of flowers and leaves derived from highly polished rice. It is very tasty. The aroma is milder than that of a ginjo, making it more versatile as a food sake. This is indeed a Niigata sake. The lingering aftertaste is firm, betraying the preconceived notion that it is made from gohyakumangoku rice, but it is interesting because it is still in the "light" category.
Grapefruit, honeysuckle, cooked rice, green bamboo, lime tree, fresh cream, lime
Ginjyo Bag-hanging unfiltered unpasteurized sake
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Low temperature storage in the cellar
100% Koshitanrei, Polishing ratio 50%, ALC 17%, Alcoholic
20241112-1114This is the second kind of sake I purchased on my trip to Kaigake Onsen and Muikamachi Onsen in Niigata 🤗.
By the way, the first one was a Junmai-shu of [Uonuma de Dokoro] which I had already bought once, and I bought it again on my way home.
While tasting the sake at Takahashiya Sake Shop, I found out that they were closed on 11/13 and 11/14.
I decided to buy some items and arranged for a delivery service. I may have bought a little too much😅.
It has a subtle ginjo aroma and a mild flavor on the palate, with a slightly sweet taste with the umami of rice.
It has a mild flavor in the mouth and a slightly sweet taste with a hint of rice flavor. It has almost no stimulation on the tongue, which is often experienced with nama-shu, and it seems to be a mild and relaxing sake.
