The fourth cup was also served warm.
It was a sake where you could feel the umami of the rice as much as possible.
This is the traditional Japanese sake.
I drank it lukewarm. It is a sake made for heating sake.
Daiginjo is also delicious heated.
If you like it, you will like it.
It's a very sake-like sake.
Shinkame should definitely be served warm.
It has a weighty, or rather, brain-penetrating flavor. It's like a weight, or rather, a taste that hits you right in the heart, and then tightens up.
I bought it on impulse because I saw it at the liquor store, but I'm not a good cook, so I don't have any food to go with such a delicious sake...
I would like to drink it with sashimi at an izakaya.
During the holidays, I went to a liquor store that recommends heated sake.
Shinkame, Akiga, Chochin, and many other sake suitable for warmed sake 🍶.
I found a Shinkame draft, but upon closer inspection it was made in December last year😅.
I thought it's okay since it's Shinkame, so I bought it, and since it's a draft, I started with cold sake first!
Even though it's a cold sake, I can strongly feel the sweetness of the sugar 😳.
This is different from fire-brewed Shinkame.
It's far from juicy sweet though 😁.
The second half has complex umami, bitterness and spiciness, this feeling is Shinkame.
I wonder if the taste is similar to Tamagawa's raw sake 🤔.
It's peculiar so it's not for everyone, but I like it 🥰.
I enjoy it at different temperatures😊.
Good morning, tomo 😃.
It's going to get up to 25 degrees during the day today 😅but we miss heated sake 🍶😌we don't often buy sake that's obviously suitable for heating 😅I think I'll get a few bottles once in a while 🤔.
Hi Jay & Nobby😃.
It was over 30 degrees yesterday in Kumamoto 🥵.
It was too hot at night to warm up the sake, so it stayed cold 🍶Kamikame has a peculiar taste, but it's easy to drink when heated so please give it a try 😁.
Hi, Matsuchiyo 😃.
In Kumamoto, there are almost no stores where you can buy Shinkame's fresh sake, and the variety is also limited 😂.
I can't compare it to a fresh shipment, but the flavor was strong and mellow and rich, just the way I like it 🥰.
Shinkame's hiyaoroshi, the standard type, is aged for two years or more, but this one has been aged only one summer, so it tastes a little lighter. However, the bitter flavor typical of Shinkame is still present. The sweetness of Yamada-Nishiki can be felt moderately, and it was the perfect combination with grilled Sanma, the king of autumnal delicacies.
SWEET SQUASH I was able to buy Shinkame sake, the pride of Saitama Prefecture residents, in Chiba Prefecture for some reason.
The guy at the store told me to be careful when I opened it because it was very carbonated! The guy at the store told me to be careful when opening the bottle because it was very carbonated! I was so scared when I opened the bottle, but I was able to open it just fine!
It was indeed very refreshing and sweet with a strong carbonation, and it helped me recover from the summer fatigue!
7/10
I've often heard that Shinkame is best heated, but since it's summer, it's fine as a cold sake.
It has a stronger green flavor, which is why I think it could be considered a refreshing summer sake.
It's a completely different lineage from other summer sakes.
It's a taste that reminds me of summer in the countryside, so it's another one of those.
Hello, Southern Cross Shine 🐦.
It's a taste of cold sake, as I only drank heated sake at the recent offline meeting! I was very interested in the taste of cold sake. Summer in the countryside = lush green fields and murmuring rivers... I would love to enjoy the refreshing taste 😊.
