Sake from Noto has an image of being robust and dry.
The other day, an in-house booklet on the Shinkansen featured a special section on sake in Ishikawa Prefecture, and several breweries were mentioned in the article about the future of Noto's sake.
One of them is Kurumata Shuzo.
One of them is Kurumata Shuzo 🍶, which has been brewing sake in collaboration with several other sake breweries since the earthquake, and has become a bridge to recovery.
The sake is impressive for its clear texture without much sweetness.
It is refreshing and has a truly "dignified" atmosphere.
It is characterized by the "strong flavor favored by fishermen," which is perhaps unique to Noto sake, as described in the booklet.
The label design and calligraphy are very beautiful and refreshing.
Just in time, Hidetoshi Nakata was interviewed on JWAVE.
Please listen to it 📻.
[Last year's personal no. 1: 🏆️
The ice-aged version of Gorin Junmai Namaishu, the most memorable sake I drank in 2024, again this year 😁.
The top aroma is not fruity, but rather reminiscent of sweetness in a classical way.
The umami is robust and mellow, with a clear, strong fullness that makes for excellent drinking 👍.
At the end of drinking, you can also taste flavors derived from aging, and this is still to your liking: ‼️
I bought it two years in a row, so it didn't have the same impact as last year, but it is still a convincing product that will never make you regret buying it. ✌️✌️
Year-end party, forget about posting.
A wonderful sake with the hope that customers, restaurants, liquor stores, brewers, and toji can enjoy a dignified relationship. The one that has many opportunities to be drunk in restaurants.
Kurumata-san, a brewery that is also active in supporting Noto.
Kaga Kikusyu, as is typical of the mainstream Yamahai brewing method, comes on strong and finishes with a good acidity. It is a gem that showcases the skill of the Noto toji.
My father said it was unusually good, so I bought a repeat.
I'll have it again.
I knew it would be the best, but it's so refreshing.
The sweetness of the rice flavor spreads.
.
I like to spend time with Rin.
I bought this Gorin on a recent business trip to Kanazawa, which is a sake made by Kurumata Shuzo.
It is too easy to drink because it is fruity on the palate, but then it goes away like water.
It is a little dangerous because it is too easy to drink! LOL!
