Gorin is a sake from Ishikawa that I drank this year and fell in love with. It is a different line from the same brewery as Tengumai.
The unique flavor of Tengu Mai is slightly mild and easy to drink. It is a sake on the high road that I could drink every day. It was a perfect pairing for today's tempura and sashimi.
Gorin, the Tengumai Sake Brewery in Ishikawa Prefecture
People in Kanazawa have long thought that good sake
Gorin.
Not so spicy, but slightly sweet and easy to drink, it goes well with Japanese food.
I want people to know more about this sake and drink it when you visit Kanazawa.

This is another sake for seafood that is only available at stores.
Gorin has an image of being light and dry, but this junmai sake has a calm and pleasant taste with rice flavor and a bit of acidity. The aroma is mild, with a refreshing green apple and rice aroma coexisting. The taste is also gentle and umami, with a hint of sakekasu (sake lees).

On the last night of my business trip to Kanazawa, I enjoyed Kanazawa sake with a delicious meal.
First up was Gorin Junmai Daiginjo.
It has been a long time since I have had Gorin.
It has a solid ginjo aroma with a sense of maturity.
The mouthfeel is elegant and pleasant.

Recommended by someone in Kanazawa. It tastes even better because it was given to me by a nice lady. I finished it quickly, but I want to drink it again.
