The third and last cup.
Although it is low milled at 80%, this cup has a banana-like sweetness and finishes with an astringent aftertaste.
All three cups were delicious in their own way!
With my wife at the desk on the balcony.
The brand name is from a sake brewery near my parents' house.
I don't have a picture of it, but the accompaniment was funazushi, a specialty of Shiga Prefecture. The breeze was pleasant and we were in a drunken mood.
If it gets a little colder, we'll have it hot. ☺️
Comparison of different polished rice
You can only do this at the store. You can enjoy the difference between the explanation and the way your tongue feels.
I overwhelmingly like brown rice and 70!
Memorandum
At an antenna store called "Here Shiga" on a trip to Tokyo.
A set of three different kinds of sake.
The richness of the aftertaste was the most impressive.
Choujukinkame Ao90 Hi-ire
Polishing ratio 90(!) Brightly illuminated, with a good balance of sweetness and acidity. Like mirin or shaoxing sake. #Home #Drinking #Dinner
The 7th Takashimaya Sake Festival 10
It was spectacular to see the Kinkame line up from 20 to 100 (unpasteurized rice) 😁.
I tasted 30 to 70 for a fee for 20.
I didn't go through the 80-100 zone because I've had it before 🤣.
I drank
Ai 40 Nama-nazake (raw sake)
It's gorgeous and maybe the sweetest flavor? No sense of perversity at all.
I like this one the best.
Green F30 Nama-nazake
It's like a more beautiful version of indigo, and gorgeous!
Sake that doesn't lose to ice.
Sake to be drunk on the rocks. Gutsy and a little classic.
Kuro 50 Nama-no-Mazake
Beautiful and mild ginjo aroma. A little spicy.
Green 60 nama sake
The gorgeousness starts to disappear around this point.
I've tasted this before, but 60 seems to be the spiciest.
I forgot to take a picture💦.
Tea 70 nama sake
Different type from the highly polished one, but a little heavier with more sweetness and umami. Forgot to take a picture💦.
Purchased at Takashimaya's Sake Festival
The tasting is too much fun as it is in 10% increments from 100% polished rice percentage!
This time it was Blue 90
Aroma is sour like Shaoxing sake
The color is light amber.
The mouthfeel is smoother than expected, with a refreshing sourness spreading first.
After that, there is a graininess and sweetness.
The graininess that passes through the nose gives a sense of calmness.
The acidity is caused by the koji used for shochu (rice malt), white koji I think.
Thanks to this, it is refreshing and crisp. ✨️
The most impressive thing was the 100% polished rice ratio! Brown rice!
It left a very strong graininess after drinking!
Hi Kurumafu 🐦.
I hope you enjoyed the sake festival😊🎶Kinkame, 90 and 100 are totally different 😆100 also tastes better when heated, but at room temperature it was as reviewed🤣.
It is refreshing, as is typical of summer sake, but has a strong umami flavor.
The umami is not clingy and disappears quickly after drinking, leaving a pleasant aftertaste.
It also has a slightly fruity flavor.
Delicious!
