There are many more sake and brands I haven't tried yet, so I'm looking forward to my next trip 🫡. Kyushu is famous for its tonkotsu ramen 🍜. I had several bowls during this trip 🐽. The most unforgettable one for me is a ramen shop called Hakuryu in Shimabara, Nagasaki. Chashu ramen - 700 yen Half fried rice 350yen No smell of pork bone inside and outside the restaurant The noodles are a little thicker than Hakata Ramen (Kurume type?). The soup is thick and rich with a sweet taste. It is unforgettable and addictive! The fried rice here is also great! Parapara and thickly seasoned! (I ate it in one bite and was very satisfied. The fourth is the beautiful and fantastic sunrise I saw at the hotel on the morning of my return.

Hitogokochi Junmai is my favorite of the entire Shinshu Kamerei lineup! Mild sweetness and full of umami! I used to buy it often because it tasted perfect and was inexpensive😄. I remember that in 2020, a bottle of Yongo was 1,400 yen including tax and a bottle of Ise was 2,500 yen! When the cute lady poured it for me I noticed that there was no sticker on the neck of the bottle that said "Unfiltered Nama Sake". This was from last summer 🤨. I was a little disappointed because I thought it was a new sake! The last day of our Kyushu trip We went to Kurokawa Onsen and around Stopped for a while near Oguni Town. There is a wonderful butcher store called "Iwanaga Honten"! There I bought a delicious super-marbled horse sashimi! Conscientious price! Highly recommended! Then buy a Kurokawa Onsen bill and visit three hot springs: ♨️ There is a mixed bath, but No one is there! 😂. I personally like the Waiwata Onsen, a little further away 😊.

Kouei Kiku Tsukikage - Kumamoto Jinryoku 23.2 Manufactured by Kumamoto Seems to have been matured in a warehouse Sweet and sour, with a bit of a schwarziness. The taste is quite juicy and thick, but the citrus bitterness in the aftertaste is clean and dry. I've never had much sake brewing rice called "Jinriki" 🤔. It's pretty tasty 😄 There are many kinds of Koeikiku. I think it tastes like Koeikiku no matter which one you drink 😆. The picture is of the Oita Prefecture Chojabaru Road Map and Ramune Hot Springs. Ramune is 💦. Yes, like dipped in soda. The amount of bubbles that stick to your body is amazing! However, the water temperature is low and it feels a little cold to enter in winter 🥶. I recommend alternating with the hot brown water in the indoor bath 🤗.

At "Meijiki no Takashi" in Hakata Tenya-machi, Hakata. Before coming here again, I drank only high strength craft beer at Beer Kichi 😆. Shigemasu Nakakumi Junmai Daiginjo Namaizu Powerful and full mouthfeel. Thick umami with a strong alcohol kick! Like a wave coming in I didn't expect it to be so strong on the first sip 🤣. The appetizer was deep-fried Kure Tofu with starchy sauce I'm so glad I like it so much (**﹃). I've been hooked on Kure Tofu since the first time I tried it 🥢😊✨

It's been a while since I've had Jikin! It's not often I get a chance to drink high-class sake, so I'm glad 😊. One sip and yummy 😆. The pineapple aroma is amazing 🍍. Fresh, juicy, sweet and delicious from the slightly slurpy mouthfeel. Sweet and a bit strong in flavor I love how easy it is to drink like a fruit juice: ❤️ It has a nice clean and slightly bitter aftertaste. Passed by the fridge on my way to the restroom and noticed they have a lot of craft beers 🤔. I then ordered the Space ✕ Cloudwater collaboration beer! Massively hopped. Explosive tropical fruit flavors 🤤🤤. Thanks for the chance encounter 🥳.

Kumamoto's local sake, Sanzanmura Slightly sweet ginjo aroma A light, sweet mouthfeel with a soft acidity. Like drinking fresh green apple juice I drank too much and my memory is fuzzy I'm not even sure of the notes I wrote at the time😅. Anyway, it's delicious! Sake brewed with sake rice grown by a pesticide-free method called "Koi Farming" in Sanzan Village! Using the carp farming method, carp are released into the rice paddies 🌾🌾 to get rid of pests. A few years ago, I drank Manbo from Kumamoto Kameman Shuzo, which was a sake made using the duck farming method🦆! There are many people in Kumamoto who practice natural farming methods 🫶.

The 15% strength also helped it to be very easy to drink I like it very much 😚. konoshiro sashimi I have never had such a fish before! The flesh is tight and juicy. The texture is quite delicious! Fukuda's rebrand, Fukuda to Fukkai 🌊. This new sake expresses the theme of the winter sea! I drank it at a yakitori restaurant a while ago and it was so delicious that I didn't hesitate to buy two bottles when I saw it 🤭. Fresh melon aroma 🍈. Fresh and bubbly with a light mouthfeel Almost no sweetness Full flavor, followed by a beautiful acidity. Quite dry. Some minerality. A slight bitterness from the back gives the impression that it is easy to match with food 🥳. This time I went to Hirado, Nagasaki and brought back three kinds of Eso, Ago, and Aji Kamaboko and frozen Hirame! Last night I cooked fish 🐟 and cut kamaboko with Fukkai 😋! First purchase of the popular Hirotogawa Nigori finally 🥳. Automatic stirring starts 💦 when you open the cork. Like the Fukkai Nigori, it has a melon-like aroma with a hint of sweetness. Slightly sweet aroma with a hint of melon. Great balance of silky sweetness and juicy flavor in the mouth ✨✨. Almost alcohol free 👌Easy to drink It's definitely a dangerously tasty drink 🤭🤭🤭. Compared to Fukkai Nigori 🤭🤭. Both are delicious 🤤, but Hirotogawa leans more towards sweetness. Great to drink with kamaboko and boiled fish 🥰. Reminds me of a fun night in Nagasaki!

The fifth glass is Miyazumi Nigori. As a nigori sake lover, I can't miss this one 🤩. Slightly gassy Slightly gassy with a mildly smooth mouthfeel Fresh, light, sweet and juicy! I love it 🥳. Can be drunk with or without food. I used to be bothered by the thinner smell whenever I drank Sharaku or Miyazumi I started avoiding it after the bad stuff piled up. Glad I didn't encounter it this time 😆. The omakase sake tete a tete is excellent! The number of items is crazy lol 🤤.

Tokyo Vice is a drama co-produced by Japan and the U.S. Have you ever seen it? I'm so glad that the latest season 2 started last Thursday! It's so much fun! Tension is high and I can't take my eyes off it 😬. Highly recommended 😄 https://www.wowow.co.jp/drama/original/tokyovice2/ Riki's third glass was a rainfall two year old. A brand I've never had at all. Interesting stories lately. I'm not a big fan of aged sake, but it's surprisingly drinkable! It's mellow and thick, yet has a sharp taste. Almost no old or aged notes, but a caramel aroma and sweetness that stands out. Thank you for drinking this rare and limited sake! Whenever I travel, I buy a variety of local fruits and eat them along the way 🚗😋. This time, we had Ponkan-sama and Mikan-sama sitting 🍊 The balance of sweetness and sourness is perfect😚😚.
