When I was in the Umeda area, a Kumamoto fair was being held and I got this set there.
I assume that you usually prefer the modern type, sweet and fruity, and drink it chilled.
Reizan Aso Junmai Acidic, rich, classic on the palate, but not unpleasant.
Kameman Dry Junmai, clean, normally dry, good.
Koroh Junmai Ginjo Slightly classic, slightly mellow, acidity-driven. I remember seeing Kumamoto Prefectural Sake Brewing Laboratory sometimes with Eikun's X.
Conclusion: All of them are good as food sake.
The 25th Hankyu Brewery Festival 10
Reizan's booth.
The person who responded to our request was a restaurant owner who is acquainted with the brewery.
He was wearing an original T-shirt of the brewery, a tribute to Oasis, which I wanted quite a bit. I heard that the executive director wanted to make it.
◉Rei Zan Nanto Seiken Certified Junmai Sake.
The label is straight out of the manga of the same generation. And I like the character more than the main character. It is easy to drink and has a clean, crisp aftertaste, just like Rei's Nanto Seiken.
Junmai Ginjo
A different tank of Rei Zan Junmai Ginjo. A dignified, clear, too-clear sake that is the perfect food sake.
Junmai
A different tank of Reizan junmai sake. I like this one better because it has a more robust umami...
◉Rei Zan Nanto Seiken Certified Junmai Ginjo-shu
This one is labeled with a scene of an even more dying Rei defeating a small fish before fighting Judas. They went to the trouble of opening the bottle, but it wasn't cold, so it's a little more chocolaty than clear. When it came to me when it was chilled, it was clear and refreshingly delicious.
Daiginjo
This one is really good.
◉Honjozo
This is made with Akigeshiki rice. Chocolatey and refreshing, it is delicious and very cost-effective.
I remember Sakeran-san was shocked at the end when he drank a bottle of the special pure sake.
The 25th Hankyu Brewery Festival (3)
Reizan has been drinking Meimon Shukai hanpukai sake once in the past at a restaurant that purchases from Ikoma Sake Shop.
Special Junmai
Polishing ratio 65
The rice seems to be Shinriki. There is a place that says "reviving a phantom rice called Fukushin" but that's a mistake, right?
Is it a honjozo? It tastes like a classic sake.
Gorigori-classic sake.
Honjozo sake
Polishing ratio 70%.
Taste that you would never think it was a sake with alkaloids
Easy to drink, you would not believe it has 19 degrees Celsius
Junmai
Sold out, but I only tasted it.
Polishing ratio 65%, Sake degree +2, Acidity 1.6
Rice is 100% Hananishiki
The specs are from the internet.
High acidity, a little wine-like
Junmai Ginjo
Beautiful and slightly sweet
Junmai Ginjo for 2,700 yen? I thought so, but I think they said the rice polishing ratio is 50%. If that's the case, why didn't they just call it daiginjo 🤔?
Honjozo Harazake was the best out of all of them.
There was also a sandeshi but it said delivery only.
I can get Reizan's Sandeshi at Yodobashi.
