This is a craft saké by Lagoon Brewery in Fukushima Lagoon, Niigata. Shozora or someone else might know a little bit about it. I won it in a drawing. Not popular? It's minor... But the price is high...(^^) Plum, tea and sake? What a combination... Unthinkable. They said it was fermented with dispensed plum wine + tea husks + rice. Anything is possible, isn't it? Why is it so expensive? It's a profit-seeking company. It smells like plum wine. (Strong sourness). No sweetness in the mouth. You will be betrayed. It's like a light and refreshing Niigata-style sake, or maybe it's the tea that refreshes the taste. It's refreshing, but the taste of ume lingers in the mouth. The aftertaste is astringent green tea. The aroma that comes out from the nose is also green tea. It is betrayed at every turn. It is said to be limited to 378 bottles, but I wonder how many people think it is good... I'll try not to be fooled anymore. I've had enough of this brewery.

The second drink of Sendai Night, this is also an instrument that I rarely buy myself. It tastes better than the one in the carton. I thought it was a special junmai Omachi. I thought it was a cheap and tasty instrument, but the price of junmai sake has come down to a certain level.

After the Motoharu Sano concert, I had a quick drink before returning to the hotel. Jikin is 800 yen per sake? That's cheaper than Kafuda and Hiroki... They were out of stock, but... I hadn't had a bottle of Hifuroki for a while, so I chose this one. It's kind of watery... Isn't it filled with water? It's easy to drink, but... Was it like this? Is it light because it's Koshi-tanrei? It's been a while, so I don't know,

I found this at a locksmith shop. I've always had the image of a store that's not very friendly. Today I tried talking to the young clerk. You can get a squeaky clean reception. I guess my grandfather's not good enough. Well, I hope you sell it to me. I didn't think the glasses-only was collaborating with Machida Sake Brewery...I'll have to buy this one. This time, too, it comes with a glasses cleaning cloth. Now, open the bottle. It smells like ginjo. The melon flavor is quite strong. Slightly effervescent, this is delicious. I wonder if the 6 breweries sell this as a "glasses-only" sake. Hagino Shuzo is doing a great job! This is the kind of thing I want to support 📣. I went to the Motoharu Sano concert in Sendai, celebrating his 45th anniversary! It was a full house and the average age of the audience was high! I know... I couldn't even hear his voice well... What's that, an hour performance with a 20 minute break? (I've never done this before)... Mr. Sano is in his 70s, right? I didn't know 2/3 of the 30 song set list. I'm not sure I'd like to hear the new songs... He's not a good talker... Angelina, Sameday, and Glass Generation were a lot of fun, though. I'll get back on track and see Tatsuro Yamashita perform 2025 at the end of this month! No intermission here, and his voice was so loud... Tatsuro Yamashita is a stable member of the band!

I visited a liquor store in Morioka city for the first time in a while. I haven't been to the store recently, so I ran out of stock of my usual drink... I found a bottle of Bida that I had never seen before, so I bought it. It was a limited edition sake, and I've been drinking it for some reason. It is certainly different from the usual Mita. I don't know what it's assemblage is with, but I don't have an explanation. First attack is dry, a bit bitter? Changed to a comparison with Suitama. I was drinking Suitama as I prefer it. Bida's dry taste and bitterness disappeared. It is the type that becomes easier to drink when the temperature changes.

It's been a long time since I've been to Suidama. I found it at a liquor store in Noshiro. I had never seen Suitama with a printed label. The clerk told me that they had just received a new shipment. I bought it because it was Yamadanishiki and I was sure it would be delicious. The taste did not disappoint! It is alcoholic but not unpleasant.

Laughing Four Seasons is the only place to buy in Morioka City. Key shop. I sometimes want to drink Laughing Season. But this tropical sunset is new to me. The orange color of the bottle is reminiscent of a sunset. The sake itself is not colored. The acidity was strong, like a summer sake, like Senkou. Maybe because it is made from nama-moto (sake brewing process). But it is not a low-alcohol sake, so you can't gobble it down. However, as I drank more, the acidity became less of an issue.

I bought this year's "Tawawa" after reading a post on Sake-no-Wawa that it was well made this year. Alcoholic taste is strong. It has a slight scent of old age. Not my favorite type. I guess it's good warmed up. I'm not good at it.

I've never seen this before at the liquor store I always stop by at work... Hiragana "takaji". I had to buy it. I immediately opened the bottle. It tastes like something I've had somewhere before. If I remember, I'll write an oyster. It tastes fresh and has an aftertaste of wooden barrels. Yesterday, I conquered the easternmost point of Honshu. I heard it was only 3k from the parking lot, so I decided to go there... I was naive, it takes 1 hour one way. I underestimated the mountain road. It's hard for lack of exercise. We finally made it, But the weather was nice and the view was great. On the way there, we stopped at a restaurant? The ramen noodles with natural wakame seaweed and mekabu was delicious. ‼️

Iwaizumi yogurt, made famous by Ootanisan. Collaboration with Nanbu Bijin? When I went to Ryusendo Cave, I found something I had never seen before frozen. I guess they freeze it for tourists. Just as well it had melted by the time we got back to the hotel. I bought one for my wife, but isn't it expensive at just under 3,500 yen? (Tourist spot price, huh?) I heard it tasted pretty good, so I guess it's OK. We took a short detour to Yokohora Farm. I heard that the butter and pudding were delicious, but... they only sell them online. I was able to meet the manager of the farm, and we decided to visit the farm. I got to experience milking a cow. The cows here are free-range, but they seem to come down the mountain on their own and let us milk them. (She was milking while eating a snack.) I was surprised to see cows waiting for their turn to be milked. Not only ningen, but cows line up too... We also got some freshly milked milk🥛. It was rich yet refreshing. The cow has such pretty eyes. She's a beauty! After milking, she went back to the mountain with her kids.

I haven't purchased an Imi in 3 years. And I was able to buy 3 bottles! And it's the first time for all three It's my 5xx birthday, so I'm opening all three bottles. I'm sure I won't be able to do such a luxurious drinking comparison again. The taste is the hardest to drink out of the three. (It tastes good, though.) The first impression I had was that it had a strong alcohol taste. My first impression is that it has a strong alcohol taste. It comes with a thump. The flavor is overshadowed by the alcohol. I wonder if it will settle down as time goes by...

I found it and bought it. This is the first time I've had the back. Brewed in May, but no freshness. I'm quite disappointed... Too much alcohol and not enough flavor. This is the second time for me to visit Tsuki no Ii. I saw it at a liquor store in Yamagata Murayama and brought it home. I would like to try Japanese Moon, but it's hard to find it...(and it's expensive). Well, I opened the bottle. It was not impressive, as if it had been fire-aged. It smells and looks like it has been aged. It has a slightly amber color. When you put it in your mouth, it smells a little old. It has a bitter taste like smoky whiskey. Unique taste, brought back memories of the Tsuki no Ii I drank before. So it's a dry line... It's not my favorite type... I didn't know 100% Yamadanishiki could taste like this. It changes so much depending on the toji (master brewer). Sake is so deep. Last night, we were entertained by a customer from Omagari and watched fireworks with him and his wife. We enjoyed the fireworks starting at 5:15 p.m. and lasting until 9:20 p.m. Omagari's fireworks are definitely worth seeing at least once! The scale is just too big. You can't see local fireworks shows anymore! There was a wind, so fireworks shavings flew to the pier seats! It was past midnight when we got home. I'd like to stay overnight, but But 60,000 yen/person per night for a business hotel? They think I'm an idiot...

On a business trip to Misawa, I had time to stop by. There was another brand of Takachiyo. I would have passed it by if it were Takachiyo, but I was curious about it. Microbubbles can remove dirt without scrubbing and are gentle to sake rice. (I understand this because of my job.) I think it's a good choice. Old people don't adopt this kind of thing... Nice work, Takachiyo-san. Now, let's see how it tastes... 6 sweetness, 3 sourness, 1 bitterness. It's delicious! It's sweet, but the acidity and the bioflavors help to set the flavor. I agree with adopting new technologies such as flattened rice milling and microbubbles. I hope this brewery does well. Salted wonton ramen at Shina Soba Restaurant in Ninohe. It's as good as it's been for 20 years! Some things don't need to change...
