Shige Masu-san has also come out with a sparkling wine with secondary fermentation in the bottle. With a low alcohol content of 11 degrees, they are taking on the challenge of keeping up with the times!
The bottle and cork stopper look like champagne, and when opened, the bottle makes a loud popping sound and is very energetic! There is no spillage, but when you pour it into a glass, it has the same lively shriek as soda water! When you put it in your mouth, it is so carbonated that the sweetness flows so refreshingly that it is hard to feel. This is a delicious toast 😄It is not something you drink in large quantities, so I carried it over to the second day.
On the second day, the carbonation is still strong! The sweetness is now stronger and the taste is more cohesive and even tastier. Thank you very much for your hospitality 😊.

I've always been curious about Shigemasu's nigori, and it's the summer-only version 😊.
The alcohol content is strong at 17%, but the sweetness and umami nicely camouflage it, and the mouthfeel is slightly fruity.
The nigori flavor is as expected, and the more time goes by, the more it increases gradually 😊.
It is not only sweet, but also classic with a sweetness that is not clingy, and although it is nigori, it is a refreshing summer sake that you will find yourself guzzling it down!

I just had a bottle of Shigemasu the other day in Fukuoka, but I happened to have bought it before I went to Fukuoka and had it in the fridge!
I bought it because I was curious about the label, which is traditional but with a bit of a modern look.

The nigori color is like unrealistic summer snow, I think. I think so 🤣.
