I heard that they have a very good selection of Sake, so I went to this restaurant, "Gah", to launch my work 🍶 They serve fish from Toyama even though it is in Shizuoka 😲.
I had a hard time deciding which sake to order, but I chose a brand I had never tried before because I thought it was a good time of year to drink sake that was still fresh.
It tasted like a fusion of the acidity typical of nama-shu and a somewhat old-fashioned sweetness 😊.
The label said something about super concentrated brewing, but I was too drunk to really understand.
Delicious.
The snacks also go well with sake. It is a good restaurant.

Went here for a work launch.
All you can eat and drink for 5,000 yen for unlimited time.
The food is reasonable, but you can also order sashimi.
The all-you-can-drink menu mainly consists of honjozo sake such as Kaiun and Garyubai, but Otters Junmai Ginjo was included in the menu.
I hadn't had it in years and it was sweet and gassy and really easy to drink.
I was there for about 5 hours....

I bought this one a year ago. That time was when I discovered Yokozeki and Mishimaya Sake Shop, and I had been looking at so many different kinds of sake that I had forgotten a ton of them ∑.
Taste...
Moderately dry, it tastes like water in the mouth at first. The sharpness and umami of sake comes at the same time as it goes down your throat. Easy to pair with meals 😋.
Sashimi of tuna and yellowtail as a side dish.
I wonder how it will taste when it is heated up!

I stopped by a liquor store and bought it for half price, in the 800 yen range. It was a spring item, so the price was down 😙.

My favorite Sawaya Matsumoto, I opened a bottle because I had some in stock 😋.
Basically, I like to try different kinds of sake, but this one is exceptional. I drink it regularly.
I turned it upside down and it spilled. I didn't have an image that it fizzes strongly....

I went on a business trip to Okinawa. I had to buy this 😠.
I was in Uruma City, but didn't have time to stop by Taiseki Sake Brewery, so I bought it on Kokusai Dori. Nakamura Sake Brewery always seems to have Reimei Junmai Sake in stock at the beginning of the month, but now they are out of stock at the end of the month... 🥲.

The sweetness is very noticeable. It is that kind of sweetness because brewing alcohol is added, but it is a little different. It is not so sharp, and the sweetness remains in the mouth.
As the package says, it is a local sake unique to Okinawa. The ingredients, manufacturing process, and flavor are completely different from those of sake. I see 🤔.
It doesn't go well with sashimi 🙁.

This brewery is famous for Toko. The green label is often seen in supermarkets, but this one is gold 😆.
The price is also high, 2500 yen including tax!
I found out that the sequel "Kabuki Journey" is being serialized and bought this as an adult, I happened to find it online and for some reason the liquor store had it and I bought it immediately 😭.
I wonder why they have this sake and if the president of the brewery is a Keiji fan. Not so much the taste, but the dialogue on this package is too maniacal and too tasteful.
If you look at Sake-no-wa, there is a post from 8 years ago, it seems to be a long-lived product even though it is a character product.
The taste is... gentle and elegant sweetness, or to put it in Keiji's style, a sense of elegance 😋 and the second half has a great sharpness. A really good representation of Keiji Maeda🤣.

Too bad the Sake-no-Iwa brand category is so dispersed. Everyone checks in Take-no-i as one. This is delicious.

The taste is mild (tender?) and The taste is mild (mildly sweet?) and not really persistent sweetness. The faint aroma is also good👍It smells like fruit. I don't know what kind of fruit to compare it to. The spiciness is quite noticeable in the latter half.

Good aroma. Slightly effervescent. Not much acidity (I've been drinking a lot of high acidity lately, so maybe my taste buds have gone crazy).
It's sweet and robust.
I wonder if this purple is the basic one from the various postings.
I paired it with stir-fry today, but I think it would go better with Japanese food than oily food.

I was attracted to something called "white koji brewing" and bought it out of curiosity. When I looked it up, I found out that white koji brews sourness. I wanted to try a white koji once since Niimasa is famous for it 🧐.
Taste...
The acidity stands up, but it is not sweet. I've only had acid + sweet before, so it's a new taste for me 😋 The sake feeling comes afterwards. Easy to drink but not crazy light 🤔.
I'd like to open a sweet one next time since I'm out of rainfall.
The snacks were claypot meat and soba noodles from Watanabe Seimen, given to me by a relative.

Yesterday, I had a Shizuoka Branch alumni meeting of my university and drank Garyubai, but I forgot to take a picture. I was having too much fun.
Now, the hot days are still continuing. I bought this sake casually sometime ago. I opened it to cool off.
It tastes good, but it has almost no sake feeling 😆 or rather, it doesn't feel like sake.
The lemon acidity is nice, but I felt it was a bit sweet, so I had it on the rocks and enjoyed it.

Recently, I have come to know what kind of liquor stores exist in the prefecture. In addition to Kuboyama Sake Brewery and Yokozeki, there are also Mishimaya Sake Brewery in Izu, Shinoda Sake Brewery and Yamada Sake Brewery in Shimizu, etc. They have completely different varieties of sake. Yamamoto is the most popular at Mishimaya Sake Shop. The owner says "black is the basic", so I did as I was told 🫡.
The taste is...refreshingly sour and not too sweet. Refreshingly light and dry? It is 😁You know, it's similar to Goemon, but I think this one is easier to drink and has more character.
But I've been opening sake at a fast pace lately... I have to be careful.

In March, I was able to take one day off, so I went to Ueda on a bullet train. Fuji, and then four hours north through Saku with the Yatsugatake Mountains on my side...💦I visited the village of Sanada.
This is what I bought directly from Okazaki Sake Brewery at that time.
I could see why it was so popular 😭.

It's a must for sour taste lovers.
Today's snack was ahi jio because bacon was cheap and I had extra mushrooms and peppers. Ahijo💧 goes surprisingly well with this drink🧐.
