I have been absent from posting for over a month 😓. It took me a while to empty a bottle and I was in the hospital for 10 days to have surgery. I am now fully healed and discharged from the hospital ㊗️, so I am opening this bottle 💁. Nice aroma of Tasake. Slightly weaker attack than Tokujun. Easy to drink. It's been a long time since I've had this. Delicious! It's a good enough drink for the special feeling of being discharged from the hospital 😋 and a bit pricey. Now I can't wait to see which stock I'm going to serve for the holiday season and what I'm going to do with the snacks 😂.

It was given to me by a colleague last year when I was having a very hard time at work 😆. What a bottle 😮 I won't have it for another month. It tastes like a dry royal road. It has a mellow and delicious taste. It is very easy to drink🙆 It is even easier to drink with ice. It is also delicious when heated 😋. I served it with a side dish of pickled round eggplant with sake lees (made by Naritaya Brewery in Matsudai). Delicious, but well, salty 😆 Nagano's food has a lot of preserved foods. The tamari soy sauce here is very tasty.

I bought this one last December. I bought it on impulse because it was advocated in Sake-no-wa that you should buy Nabeshima Tokujun when you see it 😅. This is my first time drinking it. It didn't spill, but when I took a sip, I was like "this is good! I'm like 😆. The best part is the clear acidity 🥹 I'm a sucker for acidity and I was impressed. A little complex and sharp. I was also impressed by the acidity of my first rice wine, but this is a different kind 🥺 really delicious 😋. I had a junmai ginjo (purple) of Yamadanishiki before, but I like this one better. The Fuji in the picture is from April. There is no snow on the ground yet this fall.

I drank too much... This is too easy to drink💦. PETILLANT seems to be a Fula word meaning fizzy. This drink seems to have been served at some international summit 🧐. It has a very sweet mouthfeel and a clean carbonation without any cloying taste. The carbonation is unexpectedly clear. I would say it smells slightly grapey, but it is one step away from that. Many posters call it a wine, and the mouthfeel is exactly as it should be. After it goes down your throat, it's a solid sake 😁.

I bought it at a store called FURUMAIYA in the station building when I visited Kawasaki. I was saddened to find out later that there was a draft sake available, and wished I could have had that one 😗. However, that feeling was blown away when I drank this one 😁. The freshness of the sake was just as fresh as the nama-shu. The sweetness and acidity are assertive, and there's plenty of schwarziness. Juicy and quite easy to drink ❗️ Last night's snacks were sashimi and leek ball. I'm going to try grilled pork from Matsuno butcher store this evening 😆.

At the end of my summer vacation, I went to Nagano to see a friend. We stopped by Zenkoji temple, but it was a day trip and we didn't have enough time to see all of it😅. Well, what I brought back was Seimasamune. Cool name and label. I decided I've never had apple acid yeast before 🙂. It has a very gentle taste. Apple-like sweetness and acidity. I feel like the sweetness is on the surface and the sourness is hidden. Delicate 😋 well surely fruit apples are not that sour 🤔I thought it was a bit too sweet for me so I added ice. I wonder how it would taste with soda?

Today we will open a very special one that is not available in Shizuoka 😋. Continuing our trip to Shiga. Going north in Nagahama, there is the Tomita Sake Brewery, famous for the Seven Spears, and a few doors down is the Yamaji Sake Brewery, but we passed them on our way over the Mt. On the way to Saba Highway, we happened to find Yoshida Sake Brewery. It is very close to Sugaura village, which we were looking for, so we definitely wanted to stop by here rather than Tomita Sake Brewery 🤔. Apparently it is a brewery that is being revitalized by a company started by a Gekkeikan alumnus. Pon-chan told me about it😊I looked it up and it seems to be a company called Yume Sake Brewery. In the second photo, on the right is Chikubu Island. If you go into the back of the peninsula on the left, you will find Sugaura. Now for the taste... The sweetness is moderate and sharp^ ^ ^I think the umami is high! The sake taste that comes to your nose at the end is also refreshing😄That's pretty good. It went well with sashimi. The two pictures in the back are Sugaura, which I wanted to visit at least once. The four-legged gate marking the boundary of Somura and the Suga Shrine, where shoes are strictly prohibited. You have to take off your shoes from these stairs.

I have a very special sake I brought back from Shiga 🤔. But I held back a little and opened this bottle 🍾 which had been left unopened since last year. I guess it's an autumn sake, given the theme of "moonlight" 🍂. Sake no Iwase has a wide variety of Koei chrysanthemums, with a variety of BYs. I bought an old one to try. It's been almost 3 years since I bought it, but I'm not sure how it tastes. ⁉️ Well, how does it taste? Yes, it's good. It has an obvious Koueikiku-like sourness and sweetness, and the aroma is obvious. I'm impressed that I can still drink it after 3 years 🥺I don't know what the original taste is, but it is generally round. But it seems thick and nice. The chiliiness is still there...I think. I can't see the beautiful Mt. Fuji these days and can't take pictures 🫤.

Since I am a friend of the liquor store, I was given a rare sake to drink 🧐 It seems to be a sample sake that has not been released yet: ❗️ Hakutsuru is a Nada sake, but this one is only 8 degrees alcohol. I bought this Kyoto souvenir 🍾 from my childhood friend's liquor store. I thought it would be a good idea to buy sake at the liquor store, but since my main business is a soy sauce shop, I thought it was okay 🧂After having a drink outside, they let me stop by their house and have one 😁I opened a bottle of the souvenir. I haven't looked up the origin of this brewery, but it was located on the same site as Kyodo Sake Brewery. As you can see in the photo, there are two nameplates hanging on the wall. This place used to be the former residence of the Satsuma clan. There was a stone pillar like that to the right of the telegraph pole 🧐. The taste is... It is quite sweet with an accentuated sourness but also sharp. The sweetness has a profound feeling. It is very easy to drink, just as it is reputed to be 😋.

Hi Pon 😃Thank you for noticing 😊. I looked it up and found out that it was originally a subcontractor of a big company? Really! I'm glad to hear that, because subcontracting is something that can't be helped if it's cut off. Shiga was not a subcontractor either, but I am glad that there is a warehouse that was revived by a person from the same major company 😊. Sorry for repeating myself 🙇.

Today I'm having a drink with a childhood friend 🍺. We were going to drink in Numazu, but because of the Nankai Trough warning, we decided to go in front of Fuji station to avoid a tsunami 🤨. There is a famous sake bar "Oto zakari" in Fuji city, but it was closed 😓. Well, here we are at Kudokibe. This is the first time to drink it. It has a fruity and sharp mouthfeel, but the final sharpness is just right and doesn't erase the sweetness. What a nice salted plum 🙆. I thought it was similar to Shizuoka's Shoyuki, so I compared them later, but Shoyuki seems to take everything with its sharpness at the end 🤔. My childhood friend who works at a liquor store lamented that after Corona, this brewery stopped distributing Kudoki-ueitate.

On the last day of the Kohoku - Saba Kaido road trip, we visited Hibi Brewery ❗️ to buy some souvenirs to close out the trip. I was the only customer and I had to make an appointment to visit the brewery 😆. Two women served me and they were very friendly and happy 😄. They were selling three varieties: Akitsu Yamadanishiki, Kame-no-o and regular Yamadanishiki. There is a little space to park your car. There are Shokoku, Tama no Hikari, Jyuseki, etc. in close proximity within walking distance, which is as expected of Fushimi. The taste is very elegant 😋. If I say it is like water, that would be the end of the story, but both sweetness and aroma are well hidden when you taste it well. The side dishes are pumpkin tempura and horse mackerel tataki. I think it goes well with Japanese food. The photo shows the shoin at Ruriko-in and Katsura-rikyu. This is Shokintei seen from Gakuharo, do you see the checkered pattern small... 🧐.

Today's route Sugaura village - Yoshida sake brewery - Saba highway, Kutsuki inn - Koseiji temple - Kochiya Amida temple - Rurikoin temple It was a grand tour 😆. We successfully digested it all. All were good! Rurikouin was open only for a limited time, so it was crowded and ruined the atmosphere 😅. The staircase at Kochiya was a demon 💦. I will upload the sake from Yoshida Sake Brewery later. The photo is of the garden at Koseiji Temple. It is said that Ashikaga Yoshiharu created the garden when he stayed here to escape the upheaval in Kyoto. Then the Kutsuki Inn and the stairs up to Amida Temple in Kochiya. The evening is at a Kyoto izakaya. We had a whole meal of hamo (pike conger), manganji chili pepper, and saikyo yaki (Spanish mackerel grilled in Kyoto). The Tomio here is delicious 😋 hard, like hot spring water on the tongue. It was the ultimate in fruity. Tomorrow, we will finally visit that sake brewery in Fushimi 😎.

I have an early summer vacation 😆. I enjoy going on historical trips, and this time I plan to go from Omi Nagahama to Kohoku and enter Kyoto from Saba Kaido (mackerel road). The hotel we stayed at is a buffet and you can drink all the Junmai you want from Kohama. It's a good deal. ‼️ is enough for a buffet 🤣It has a light sharpness and a slight bitterness. The best way to get the most out of it is to buy a new one. I am satisfied. The interesting thing about Omi is that there are amazing things on display in places that seem like they are nothing. This time, we visited Mikakaku, a facility that exhibits relics of Chishokuji (abandoned temple), which was amazing... 🥺Asai documents and Buddhist statues from the Heian period were all around. We made friends with the volunteer interpreter and stayed for 2 hours. The photo shows Kotani Castle and the bridge where Mitsunari Ishida is said to have been captured, as one of the volunteers told us.

I had some time to kill, so I drove to Seto Sake Brewery in Ashigara. This brewery has a really wide variety of brands. After much hesitation, I bought two bottles 🤔. I heard that they don't produce any raw sake. I heard that the toji here doesn't like to change the taste. That's why they mainly store it fresh. They are very thorough. We had prepared a cooler box in anticipation of the fresh sake 😅. The brewery is equipped with a tatami room where you can drink while looking at the garden. I heard that highballs are recommended, so I had one of these. The subtitle of this article is very long. The taste is... Taste... Quite noticeably sweet. At room temperature, it is like candy. There is no sourness or bitterness, and it goes down like water. But at the end, it has a sake-like feeling that leaves your nose 😋 The snacks were grilled mackerel with rice malted rice and soba noodles. It has been a long time since I had a three-day weekend. I came to Onsen boldly because Monday is my substitute holiday♨️I decided to stay in Kamakura, thinking of having fun while visiting temples and shrines🤔. As a history buff, I wanted to stay at Iwamotoro at least once. I had been working hard since April, so I was excited to treat myself. The inside of the building is getting old, but I'm sure there are people who like this kind of thing. Now, the accompanying sake was Kikuyu from Yoshikawa Brewery. I brought it from home😅It's quite sweet, but unlike Ameyu, it has a habit of tasting like apricot wine. The bold food was a wonderful accompaniment. The sea in the photo is the view from the room. Fuji if the weather is clear🗻The cave bath and reference room are the highlight.
