It was full, so I revisited around 8:30 and was able to sit down. Why is it so crowded on a weekday? I wanted to come here no matter what because an acquaintance strongly recommended it. It's inexpensive for a tempura restaurant 😊They have a wide variety of tempura and a variety of other dishes. They also have Sawaya Matsumoto, which may be a reference to the name of the restaurant, "Sake-ba-rii". The food was of course delicious: 5 kinds of omakase, including mullet, broccoli, ainame, etc. We didn't want to drink too much, so we went to Japan. I didn't want to drink too much sake, so I had ume (plum) wine instead of sake. It was very easy to drink because of the apples in it and went surprisingly well with the meal. Nagano is nice.

I am here in Matsudai. I've been hooked on Nagano since the Nagano Longitudinal Expressway was built, and I can't tell you how many times I've been on a hot springs or historical trip. This time, I tried to visit Matsudai but I couldn't see enough of the city in one night. In the evening, I tried to find a restaurant that served good sake, but for some reason they were all full. The restaurant we ended up at was a good choice. The snacks are delicious. You can tell they are very particular about their food. They have everything from Japanese sake to Western sake. There was a "Iraka" sake, so I tried it for the first time. It is sweet and sour, but has a light sweetness and refreshing acidity. I can see why it is popular.

Good evening Ane 😁. We were guided to the upstairs bar because the first floor was full. I was impressed by the nectarine "tofu paste" 🥹 The picture is natto omelette and leaf wasabi. They also have good taste in sake. Nagano, history, food, and sake, is a good town.

This stock was purchased in the spring. This Genmai has been buried in the store and it has been a year and a half since it was manufactured. The last time I drank it, it seemed dry, probably because it was still new, but this one has turned into something else 🤨. Above all, it is mellow and sweet. It is rich and mellow. I didn't know it could change so much when unfiltered raw is put down. I can't feel the so called "aged aroma", but I am surprised. But it is still delicious 😋.

The second party after the launch party in my department at work. The master knows everyone in our department. It was a weekend, so the place was packed. The master was complaining about the poor selection of sake today, but this Okunomatsu was available. It has a very beautiful flavor, sweet and sour, and easy to drink. This is a different version of Amezure, a souvenir from my recent visit to Daisen. I haven't had a chance to drink the tazake yet, so we take turns drinking it, but I can't really tell the difference 😓 It's a bit more classical for Amezure, but it's totally easy to drink. It really is a little bit classical. It also has a weak aroma, which is unique to Amezure. I think the more sweet and sour the brand is, the more fragrant it is 🤔. The photo is spring water from the Aburi Shrine underground passage. This is how Amefall is brewed.

This is a rice wine that has been sitting around for almost 2 years 😋. Yamahai, which is only seen occasionally. However, what is it? The aroma characteristic of tasake is restrained, there is little bitterness, and it is quite light. This is of course very tasty, but 🤔 it has a delicate sensation. It is the opposite of mellow. I think it tastes different from what I drank before... Or maybe my tongue got used to the taste of rice wine... Is it because I left it for 2 years? Was the storage temperature too high? (10 degrees Celsius)

It was a business trip to Shizuoka City. A small izakaya called Kikudokoro. They have a rare selection of sake and most importantly, the food is delicious😋. They had Shinshu Kamerei, so I had to try it. It is fire-aged, so it lacks richness, but it has just the right amount of schwarziness and refreshing sweetness and acidity. It goes down well.

The sixth cup of rainfall 🫩 This is the famous peach-colored hazy sake. It is 8 degrees and low in alcohol, but this is the last one. I'm too tired from my pilgrimage to Mt. Daisen and drink too much. It is sweeter than I expected. ‼️ The photo is the Chigasaki City Museum, where we stopped on the way home. It is an ideal museum, free and specialized for the local community. It is small, but the exhibits are a fusion of the humanities and sciences. It follows the theory of museology. The long passageway leading to the entrance is flanked on the south by a group of historical sites centering on Jomi-ji Temple, perhaps with this in mind. The temple also houses the gravesite of Tadasama Ooka. This kind of place gives a sense of unity of the region, and this museum is very well done 😁.

5th cup of rainfall ☔. This one 🤔🤔 Aroma like white grapes. It also has a slight scent that is unique to rainfall. It tastes like that to begin with, so this is also possible. There are a lot of varieties, but they are very changeable ^ ^.

Fourth cup of rainfall. This is the most ordinary tasting rainfall I've had so far. It has a slight aroma of rainfall, but the bitterness that precedes the aroma makes it lose its originality 🤔. Of course it tastes good, but it's not enough for rainfall fans.

The third cup of Rainfall. Amezure has an image of being sweet and acidic and easy to drink, but this one is totally different. It has an overwhelming sense of being unfiltered. I was surprised at how much the unfiltered flavor changes the taste. This is the first time for me to drink a mild rainfall 😲 I wonder how it would taste with ice.

Oyama visit and all you can drink SAKEkurahotel. The second drink was Sugiyama-style. It is full and easy to drink with a unique acidity of Amefall. There is a lot of rainfall I have never seen before. ‼️ impressed🥺

Today I am making a pilgrimage to Daisen in Isehara. Not because it was featured on Bratamori yesterday, but because I have been planning it for a while. ‼️ I'm doing my best at the approach to the heartbreaking slope, the lower shrine of the Aburi Shrine. If you go to the Okumiya shrine, it seems to have an elevation of 1,200 meters, which makes it a mountain climb. At night, we stayed at the Kawasaki SAKEkura Hotel, directly operated by Yoshikawa Brewery, where you can drink all the rainfall you want if you stay the night. ‼️

In winter, I stopped by Nagashima Sake Shop in Numazu, and found an abundant display of Isojiman 😲. I often have it for drinking out, but this is actually the first time I have purchased it for home use. It was also the first time for me to buy a bottle of nama-shu (unpasteurized sake). A little expensive, I guess. What surprised me was how similar it was to Yoshida Kurau. The strain is the same 🤔. The difference is that Yoshidagura is refreshing and Isoboast is mellow and spicy. Mellow and fruity. Surely this is a winter sake.

Stupid busy day continues. I am looking forward to drinking on the weekends. Yoshida Kura has been on my mind for a while. It has some kind of novelty label and I was torn between red and green. Upon opening the bottle, a nice popping sound. It has a strong schwarziness, and the sharpness is weak. It is juicy sweet and sour, but the acidity wins. The balance is good🙆. At the time, I was wondering whether to buy Senkou's Kabutomushi, but this sake can replace it 🤔. The characteristic is the hinted aroma, which has a slight habit of mottling. I would say it is a juice, but this habit brings back the feeling that it is sake. Delicious.

Kawanakajima 😁 obtained on a trip to Nagano. We will have Omachi. The Miyamanishiki we had last time was dry and dry. This one is extremely sweet. It has an elegant, sugary, fruity sweetness. And it is dry and sharp. It has a slight bitterness (I've been drinking sake for several years, and I'm finally getting a sense of bitterness these days 😓). It makes me feel rich. The photo shows miso from Nishinomoto and Nitta Brewery, the base of mixed rice from Kinohanaya, and sakekasu cake from Okazaki Sake Brewery.

I was on a business trip to town on the train so I could have a drink 🤩 and go home. This izakaya is called "Kikudokoro" and is located in a small building. It seems to have been open for only 4 months, so it does not appear in the location information. It is run by a young owner. The food is good and the sake is tasteful. We entered the restaurant because we confirmed the rainfall on the food log. Other restaurants were Yokoyama and Narumi. The food is good 😋 The salted motsu stew was excellent. This is my first time drinking Wakanami. It has a moderate acidity and umami, and is a good food sake. I didn't come across Amezure, but it reminds me of it.

I have kept this one from last year. I bought it because I had previously enjoyed the same brand of Zero. It seems to use hydrangea flower yeast. This one was a little dry with less sweetness. The aroma was a bit like Setoichi. I think the brewery brews several brands, but all of them have a unique aroma in common. I've recently figured it out 🧐. I had rakkyo kimchi and soba noodles to go with it.

Last week, I was in Yokohama on a business trip. I took a look at Ichiishiya Sake Shop and found an unusual label of Sawaya Matsumoto, which I couldn't resist purchasing.... I looked it up later and found out that it was an old sake aged for 3 years. I later found out that there were only 1,000 bottles of this 3-year-old sake. As a Matsumoto fan, I was quite lucky. ✌️ The number 1314 seems to refer to the number of Okamoto Village in Tojo District, Hyogo Prefecture, a special A district where Yamada-Nishiki is grown. When I went to the supermarket today, I saw that the Kuroge Wagyu beef was on sale at half price, so I decided to have this as my entrée 😁. The taste is amazing with a slight effervescence remaining. The aroma is slightly light, but has a unique Matsumoto aroma. It's fresh and I can't believe it's been aged for 3 years ἲ. I wonder if this Ichiishiya Brewery carries any local Kanagawa sake? They had an abundance of Nagano's Jukyu and Chiba's Higashi Kaimori.
