Timeline
ellieThis brewery is famous for its Setoichi. Since it is not far away, I was planning to visit this brewery eventually, but it happened to be on sale at a discount price at a mass retailer😲 Lucky me.
The brewery is open in September.
It is brewed with sake brewer's alcohol, which I am not sure what it is 🤨It seems to be a term coined by this brewery that uniquely manipulates kijozo-shu. Sake degree -29😲.
When you drink it, the sweetness hits you hard. It is thick. Slightly yellow. As advertised, then softly grape-like aroma, the sharpness is slight, and the chest is hot with a kick.
The website says it goes well with cheese.
The accompaniments were tempura and soba noodles. ellieI stopped by a liquor store and bought it for half price, in the 800 yen range. It was a spring item, so the price was down 😙.
I thought it was an unusual brand, so I looked it up and found that it was a 300 year old law-breaker. I've seen this at a different liquor store 👀.
Hana no Keiji was available, so I opened a bottle. It's November, like spring.
Tastes like...
A little thick. Yellowish. What is this grain-like aroma that lingers in the nose? I can't describe it well, but it's quite rich and old-fashioned. The ad says it's fresh, but I think it might be better to call it flavorful 🤔.
I forgot to put potatoes in the pot-au-feu and edamame as accompaniments. えりりんGood morning ellie!
Maybe it would have been fresh if I drank it in spring?
It might have tasted different 💦 since it's been sitting for 6 months.
Beautiful Fuji 🗻😍 ellieGood evening Eirin-san.
It still changes after more than half a year... 😓I have a Kutouryuu that has been in the fridge for a year 😅.
It's Fuji in the morning sun😊Next time I will try to take a different angle 🏔. RecommendedContentsSectionView.title
