ellieDuring my business trip to Yokohama in April, I was able to stop by Ichiishiya Sake Shop. They mainly carried sake from all over Japan, so I chose a sake that you don't see very often in Shizuoka 😆.

Quite noticeably sweet. At room temperature, it is like candy. There is no sourness or bitterness, and it goes down like water. But at the end, it has a sake-like feeling that leaves your nose 😋 The snacks were grilled mackerel with rice malted rice and soba noodles.

Even though I'm a weak drinker, I don't feel the alcohol at all. If you drink it with carbonation, it is like Fanta. It is a high class Fanta.

The owner, who likes to talk, told me about an interesting sake and I bought this one. Apparently this "Takachiyo" is made by someone in the apparel industry! The labeling was gorgeous and colorful, and I couldn't decide which color to choose.
