The meat gift from my daughter arrived very late as a birthday present for my husband and I, who are three days apart 🎁.
My son gave each of us a gift of our choice (alcohol for me again, this time liqueur 😅)
It seems to be a local sake from Nagahama, Kita Omi, which is made of sake and blue herb 🌿 "Butterflapi" and represents the charm of Lake Oku-Biwako.
I didn't have anything to go with the steak, so I went with this sake.
It is a liqueur with little sweetness and a refreshing taste, but it was easy to drink as sake.
It made me feel like my family was together even though we were not at the table.
Happy birthday, Rutemi 🎂🎊!
What a filial duty to your daughter and son to complete the sake and entrée with each of them. ‼️
Very nice birthday 😊.
Oh, and happy birthday to your husband too 🤣.
Good evening, Luteltemi 😃.
Happy Birthday to you and your wife 🎂.
Butterfly peas, you can change the color by adding lemon and other ph changes! Fashionable ☺️
Your son's meat fat wash is perfect 😊.
Good evening, Mr. Lutertemi.
Happy Birthday to you and your wife 🎉!
Gifts from each of your sons and daughters ✨🎁✨You have a wonderful relationship ✨.
Good meat and good drinks made it a wonderful time 😊.
Thank you Maru 😊I'm just thankful that you remembered my parents' birthday because my whole family is doing what I love to do 😁I had a wonderful time 😆I was able to get the alcohol because Maru told me about it: 🙇♀️
Happy birthday to you and your husband 🎂✨and your sweet children ❤Gorgeous steak and beautiful colored liquor ❗I've never seen it before 👀I bet it would be pink and pretty with a lemon🍋😁.
Thank you Aladdin😊I enjoyed the quintessential Aladdin and the color change. The quantity was small so I tried a little bit of everything. I never knew that butterfly peas have more anthocyanins than blueberries 🧐.
Thank you ma-ki-😄My daughter always celebrates with me because my husband and I have our birthdays close together. My son hasn't forgotten because his own wife and her husband have the same birthday 😆 It was a gift that was deliciously paired 😊.
Thank you Pyonpyon 😊I enjoyed the color change. It turned out to be purple, but I put sudachi instead of lemon🍋 so I hope it didn't turn out to be a pretty pink. I can't try it again because it ran out so quickly 😂.
Happy belated birthday to you and your wife, Lutemi 🎉🎂🎂!
It's nice to celebrate with gifts 🎁 from each of your children ✨I'm glued to the meat 😳 from Imahan, as well as the promised alcohol 😆.
I have an early summer vacation 😆.
I enjoy going on historical trips, and this time I plan to go from Omi Nagahama to Kohoku and enter Kyoto from Saba Kaido (mackerel road).
The hotel we stayed at is a buffet and you can drink all the Junmai you want from Kohama. It's a good deal. ‼️ is enough for a buffet 🤣It has a light sharpness and a slight bitterness. The best way to get the most out of it is to buy a new one. I am satisfied.
The interesting thing about Omi is that there are amazing things on display in places that seem like they are nothing. This time, we visited Mikakaku, a facility that exhibits relics of Chishokuji (abandoned temple), which was amazing... 🥺Asai documents and Buddhist statues from the Heian period were all around. We made friends with the volunteer interpreter and stayed for 2 hours.
The photo shows Kotani Castle and the bridge where Mitsunari Ishida is said to have been captured, as one of the volunteers told us.
ellie, welcome to Shiga!
I've never been to Mikakaku 💦Kotani Castle is also one of the 100 best castles in Japan, so I'd like to visit both 😊thanks for the reference 🙏.
Kohama Junmai is indeed good for a meal 😆.
Good evening, Ponchan!
I see you are from Shiga! Shiga is very interesting! Today we went to Sugaura village - Yoshida sake brewery - Kutsuki - Koseiji temple and entered Kyoto.
There are still many places I want to see 😆.
My wife and I took a short trip to Shiga Prefecture (5)
The last sake of the night was Kohama special junmai sake from Sato Shuzo.
First, the aroma. The aroma is not so strong.
The moment I felt the sweetness in my mouth, I was immediately hit with bitterness.
The menu listed the sake as slightly sweet, but I found it to be dry and very drinkable.
Good evening, ma-ki-san. I am so envious of your trip to Shiga with your wife and all the Shiga sake. Enjoying Shiga sake from the north to the south of the lake, it feels like a round-the-clock trip around Shiga Prefecture 😊.
Thank you for your comment, Hirupeko.
It was a rare chance to meet Shiga Prefecture's sake, so I had a great time tasting all kinds of sake from Shiga Prefecture ✨.
Hi, ma-ki-chan 🐦.
I feel that you and your wife are doing a good job, as it stopped raining ☔ when you went sightseeing 😊As Peco said, it is also a lineup that goes around in a circle👍I am glad you enjoyed the drink 🥰.
Thanks for your comment, Pon.
I'm not sure about my daily routine, lol, but the rain stopped and we were able to double our fun and sightsee 🎵.
It was a blissful day for me to be allowed to relax and enjoy Shiga Prefecture's sake 😊.
I got it as a souvenir from Shiga 🤗.
It is a hiyaoroshi with a blue bottle and orange label.
The color of the sake is unique, a light amber nigori with a reddish hue, like a sunset shortly after the sun goes down.
It is full of brown sugar-like flavor and richness, malted rice aroma, a slight oaky tamari soy sauce flavor, a very slight chilliness, and a deep flavor that wraps around the tongue 😚.
It is so moist and easy to drink that you don't feel the al 18 degrees Celsius. It has a good thickness of sweetness and thickness, and is so delicious that you can easily drink it on its own.
