East Hokkaido tasted a sake from Nemuro.
I brought this one to a drinking party at a friend's house.
The reason why I felt it had a classic, light taste may be because I drank it after "Hana-yosu".
It was a delicious sake with a clear taste reminiscent of the frozen winter in the north.
This is "Kita no Katsu Junmai Sake" from Katsusaburo Usui Shoten, the easternmost brewery in Japan, located in Nemuro City, Hokkaido.
This junmai sake is made from 100% Ginpu, a sake rice produced in Hokkaido, and is a delicious sake with the flavor and richness of rice, but with a refreshing aftertaste due to its acidity.
On this day, we had appetizers, 5 sashimi, 15 tempura dishes, and a shrimp kakiage donburi to finish off the meal (🦐).
At the end of the meal, we were recommended to have a drink of this as well.
Hokkaido sake, only available at this time of the year!
It's freshly pressed, but it's a solid, robust sake!
Ya, we will welcome Bessan and Mexican Tequila to Kushiro in June!
The master said he will prepare another exceptional sake for us!

This is a Junmai sake from Kitanokatsu👍
I heard it's not easy to find in other areas, but I was able to get it: ✌️
It's so good! ☺️
I like Kitanokatsu (Oumi) to begin with, but the less sweetness seems to be just right ← stupid tongue 🤣.
It's also good as sashimi, but it's really good with simmered dishes! ←I forgot to take a picture 😅
As for the snacks
sashimi of yellowtail and tuna
boiled komatsuna and kanmodoki (Japanese radish sprouts) ←no picture
No picture!
I don't know why I'm so lazy this time😅.
Good evening, Miyabi 😃.
So this is a junmai sake that is not available even in Hokkaido?
I'm sure it's delicious with sashimi and simmered dishes 😙No need to take a picture to show how delicious it is 🤗.
