So here are the last of the three types we received for the "drink comparison". I didn't know how to read it. This one is straight and dry. I drank it all at once!
I bought this set with the Hitachi Nishiki I drank the other day, but the flavors are quite different.
This one tastes a little spicier, and my preference is definitely Hitachi Nishiki.
This sake won the Jury President's Award at the Sake Competition.
The taste is of a high standard, with a refreshing yet sweet and umami spreading through the flavor.
It was very good.
I went to buy some Raifuku summer sake.
I was recommended to buy this one 💡.
It's the first time I've bought this sake in my prefecture.
It's not this dry, but I heard it won an award in some contest 🏆.
It's not a summer sake, but it's like a summer sake?
It's a perfect sake for dinner.
It's a perfect sake for evening drinking 🌟.
Lately I've been drinking sake from the first glass 😆.
Purchased at Roadside Station Koga
Delicious!
Tangy on the tongue, rich in aroma, and refreshing on the throat!
I think the tanginess is stronger than the last time I drank it.
The rich aroma of the rice is so strong that it doesn't feel like an oddity.
Delicious sake!
I will buy it again!
I like sake from Ibaraki.
100% Hitanishiki produced in Ibaraki
Polishing ratio 50%.
Alcohol content 16%.
Production date: April 2025
When poured into a vessel, it has a sweet aroma. It has a gaseous and juicy flavor, just like the label on the back.
I know it's delicious, but I haven't had it for a while," I said to my husband as we took a sip and we both groaned at the same time 😆.
Hello, Chizu!
It's a good time for you and your wife to have a drink together ✨
I haven't had a sip of the Gokei but I'd like to take a sip and groan 😍.
Looks delicious 🤤.
Sweet and pleasant acidity spreads on the palate, with a pleasantly sour and refreshing aftertaste.
Rice flavor spreads in the mouth.
A bottle that seems to go well with all kinds of meat and fish.
Ibaraki Sake
Gokeijo Junmai Ginjo Summer Nama Sake
Gokeijo has been on my mind for a long time. This sake is made by the Aoki Sake Brewery in Furukawa City, Ibaraki Prefecture. I was interested in this sake because it has won many gold medals and is made by Mr. Yanai, the former toji (master brewer) of 寫楽. Aoki Shuzo is not a very big brewery, so it is hard to buy even in Ibaraki, but you can buy it at a local sake bar at Mito Station.
The aroma is gorgeous for a summer sake. The clear sweetness and Hitanishiki flavor stand out. Sourness is a bit. There is almost no bitterness. It is similar to Nozomu (bo:), a sake from Tochigi. This is a very tasty sake that can be used all over Japan. It is gorgeous, delicate, clear and juicy. If you can find it, please do.
Degree of liking 10/10
