He brought three four-packs of sake as a souvenir, which is a generous gesture for a business traveler who travels all over the country. I would never have been able to do such a thing with my own pocketbook. When I pour it into the cup, it is more yellow than I expected! Is this a matured type? The aroma is slightly fruity, but has a bitter, mature aroma. The mouthfeel is crisp and dry, with a light sweetness and bitterness, and a moderate umami, but the maturing aroma in the aftertaste is unique. The light sourness and bitterness in the aftertaste are quite a tricky thing to pull off. This strange taste is not one of my favorites, but it is something that makes me want to drink it again. We opened a bottle of Daikoku that we bought today at Kado-ya Sake Shop. It is said that this sake is brewed with 100% Yamada Nishiki harvested in a special area of Hyogo Prefecture. It's rich and dry. The rich taste in the mouth and the long lingering spiciness are exquisite. I think it's a very cost effective sake.

This was the first time I drank Daikoku Masamune at home. I bought it at the direct sales counter of the brewery. The aroma is mild, but the taste is fresh and fruity. It was really good even when it was heated. The reinforced concrete brewery was demolished due to old age, and a prefabricated direct sales store was built on the site, with the rest of the land used for a convenience store and Marugame Seimen noodles. The rest of the land is used for convenience stores, Marugame Seimen noodles, etc. Now they are brewing in a rented part of Hakutsuru Brewery. National Sake Fair 2025 Day 2 part75 Gunma 6 Mr. Takai in Fujioka City! I think they had closed their brewery for some reasons and were shipping out their stock, but I saw on SNS that they have started brewing again. I see that they have also released a draft sake. I drank a bottle of nama sake about 4 years ago when the warehouse was already closed, so it was a slightly matured one. Polishing ratio 55%, domestic rice, 15 degrees, Sake degree +2, Acidity 1.6, 1401 yeast? 1747 yen I thought it would be matured, so I was disappointed with its clean taste and no sense of maturity😅. I wonder if there are any liquor stores far from Takatsuki station or south of Kyoto station 🤔.

This sake was a gift from a junior colleague (son of a liquor store owner). It has been a long time since I've had a classic, THE old man's dry sake. There is a sweetness of rice in the back, and it is refreshing. Not bad. After the sweet and juicy sake, we had a glass of So-no-Sato. Not bad. I've only been at work for a little while after the new year, but the three-day weekend is wearing on me. Sake heals me 😄.

Purchased at Hankyu Department Store's traveling SAKE. It has a gentle taste with a sweet flavor that comes in the latter half of the bottle. It has a spicy taste, but it also has a fresh fruitiness. I also tasted Omachi, but Yumesasara was definitely my favorite. On the third day, the impression of sweetness and acidity became stronger.

Tochigi sake featured in Hankyu Department Store's Traveling SAKE. After drinking Kiyokai nigori, it was getting crowded, so I left once and returned when it was empty. We compared Yumesasara and Omachi. I had a preconceived notion that Omachi would be tastier, but I found Omachi to be too strong and subtle. Yumesasara was delicious, so I bought it.
