As with my previous Chichibu Nishiki post, I bought this when I made a pilgrimage to an anime sanctuary in Chichibu. First brand name I was told that this sake is only available during the shiba-zakura blooming period. I visited at the end of summer, so next time I'd love to visit during the blooming season ✊. Cold sake Good ginjo aroma. Light but mellow and full-bodied from the mid-palate. Like Chichibu Nishiki, many Chichibu sake are classic? Short aftertaste. Pair it with strong flavored food. It is good at room temperature, but I prefer it cold.

Purchased at a liquor store in Nara Finally opened a bottle of sake that I brought back with me when I went back home a few months ago. A limited edition of regional Sanomorosugi. It's been a long time since I've had it 😚. Cold sake Mature aroma with acidity. Similar aroma to Wakanami Junmai Ginjo Slightly acidic and mellow on the palate. A slight acidity and mildness spread from the middle of the mouth. The taste is quite juicy. The aftertaste is rather long.

Purchased at a liquor store First Fusozuru It's still hot outside, but I'm in the mood for the last time I had Tokigen, a classic San-in, Kinki, and Hokuriku sake to shoo me away 🍶. At room temperature Mellow aroma with acidity. Good balance of umami and acidity Depth of flavor, but not too heavy. Dry aftertaste with a long aftertaste. When heated, the acidity is reduced and it becomes easier to drink. Longer aftertaste when hot.

I happened to find the Tokyo University of Agriculture's antenna shop in the station where I got off for the first time in search of the Gozenshu 9nine I posted yesterday 👀. The shop carries many brands from graduates of the University of Agriculture, many of which you don't see in Fukuoka! Ando Suigun, Rokkasen, Naozane, Senjojo, Chikuma Nishiki, Takehata, Sanshoraku, Kusudama, Kiso Mikawa, Shinkai, Yaetsuru, Sake Isshuji, Kirai, Nagasaki Bijin, Tsujun, etc... I imagine there are more sake from Kanto than Kansai. Chose Tsunekigen, which I have never had before. Cold sake Slightly subdued aroma. Full-bodied with a sharp sharp taste Not so heavy, but mellow enough. It has no peculiarities, so even a beginner of sake can enjoy it.

Today is September 9, which means Nine's Day ❾. First drink. I didn't expect this month to end 😭 I'm glad I was able to buy it safely Cold sake. Gorgeous aroma! It has a lightness that is not typical of junmai sake, but the umami of the rice is still there. It has a characteristic texture and chewy feeling on the tongue. There is also a lactic acidity. The aftertaste is rather long.

Purchase at Sake Brewery I had a chance to visit Nara last week and went to Inada Sake Brewery. I learned about the sake at a previous sake event in Kitakyushu, so I visited during my trip back home. Cold sake The aroma was subdued. The mouthfeel is rather gentle. From the middle to the aftertaste, the taste of rice spreads out without any peculiarities. The aftertaste is normal.

Cold sake The aroma is subdued. The powerful umami of rice spreads from the beginning of drinking! It is rather dry. The aftertaste is normal.

Purchase at liquor store The liquor store near my parents' house is here, Kagiya. The website is extensive and features detailed descriptions of the sake 🍶. I went to buy some on Sunday evening, but there was a sudden thunderstorm: ⛈️Lightning strikes once every 20 seconds: ⚡️ It stopped raining in Osaka today after noon, but I was originally going to go to Shizuoka where my grandmother is 😅. I was supposed to go to Shizuoka to see my grandmother 😅 I was also supposed to see my friend who is in Shizuoka for a long time.... Chill out a little Aroma of cheese(?) Aroma of lactic acid like cheese(?) Strong acidity with a peculiar taste on the palate! It is said to have a higher percentage of koji than Kido's Junmai sake. Be careful not to get drunk because of its low alcohol content. Good cost performance. However, there may be different tastes... If you like sake with white koji, you may like it.

Purchased at Sake Shop At Yamanaka Sake Shop main store for the first time in a year. I was finally able to buy sparklers in Osaka, which were sold out in Fukuoka! After that, we went to the Takashimaya Sake Festival! I didn't have much time to see much, so if I have time tomorrow, I may go buy something 😄. Cold sake Fresh and juicy aroma like lychee and pineapple. Slightly gassy Fresh and light taste Mature acidity, different from that of stimulating lemon. Slightly astringent aftertaste Low alcohol content, so be careful not to get drunk.

At Sake-no-Hisaya, a famous liquor store in Fukuoka City where you can buy Niimasa It's been a long time since I've had No. 6, and this is the first time I've purchased it! Like my last post, I brought it home with me when I went back home! This is the 666th check-in on their website 👀I posted it to get it 😂. Cheers to Utada Hikaru's concert on Tuesday the 27th 🍶. I'm glad the concert was held safely despite the possibility of cancellation due to the typhoon (I hope the house in Fukuoka where I live now is safe since it was shifted to the west).... Cold sake Smooth and watery Slightly gassy. Low alcohol and clear even though it is a pure sake. Not too sweet. Among the No.6, I like X the best. However, I heard from a restaurant owner that R is preferred because it is difficult to match with food. Enjoy it while watching the moonlight! Traveling to Akita for a sake brewery tour I want to be crazy about you, the first sake I met there. This is truly first love! I'd love to meet you and have a drink with you

I had given up on drinking it this year, but I happened to find it! Cold sake Sour aroma Slightly gaseous Sourness reminiscent of citrus fruits such as group fruits and oranges Aftertaste is quite peculiar and astringent

I went back to Osaka for 2 weeks from the day before yesterday. So I bought a bottle of fuchinsai, which was released the day before yesterday, and went home! Like Nabeshima, fuchinsai is often seen in Fukuoka, but rarely seen at liquor stores in Osaka. Cold sake Gentle aroma As described, it is indeed more stimulating and has a more acidic aftertaste than the kawamatsuri I drank before. To use an analogy, kawamatsuri is a common soda water and fuchinsai is Wilkinson. That's how different the gaseous sensation is from kawamatsuri. I paired it with pizza and french fries, and it went very well together.

Purchased at liquor store I finally got it, Hana Yuu. I went to buy it as soon as I found out about the sale on Instagram! Cold sake Juicy pear-like aroma! Freshness and umami increase in the latter half of the bottle. Slightly weighty The acidity and aftertaste are more crisp than that of Omachi. The aftertaste is normal.

Cold sake Salty aroma Stimulating and crisp acidity like a white wine Refreshing flavor perfect for summer It may go better with salty fish dishes such as ajillo or grilled fish rather than fish dishes with soy sauce or sashimi.

Cold sake Moderately sweet aroma Clear mouthfeel with no cloying taste even though it is made from edible rice. There is a strong umami flavor. Aftertaste is normal
