The aroma is subdued, but the strong sweetness with a hint of rice flavor is similar to that of plum wine.
The color is almost golden.
I was hooked on this one.

I had a hard time deciding what kind of food to serve with it, but I tried my wife's homemade dumplings!

The third drink at the standing bar on my first visit was Yaemon, which I had never seen before. I told the staff that I wanted a drink that would go well with the mackerel cans, and that was dry but not too heavy, and they recommended it to me.
Indeed, it is a dry sake with a beautiful rice flavor, slightly floral and light and easy to drink. Perfect for mackerel cans. ❣️
The standing bar here serves only a few canned foods as snacks, and when you order from the sake menu of about 20 varieties, they pour it into a 130 ml glass. They leave the bottle in front of you for a while so you can take your time to take pictures of the label 😊.
It was a nice space with a stylish counter where you can stand and drink at a reasonable distance from the person next to you.
Afterwards, we broke up with a bowl of kitsune udon at a great standing udon restaurant in the neighborhood. It was quite a satisfying drinking party👍
