Drove to Akirika Sake Brewery on my day off last week 🚗. First time in Nose town, very peaceful 🚗 ☺️ On the way back, we went to Mt. Myoken💨The fallen leaves were so beautiful! At room temperature Freshly cooked rice, aroma of apricot bean curd It is rather soft in the mouth. Akirika's unique acidity is light... although it is high at 2.1 compared to the average acidity of 1.3-1.5 for sake as a whole 😅. Impressive aftertaste with a sharpness and alcoholic strength due to the original sake

Purchased at a sake shop The first brand Asahi Ei was introduced on a Japanese Sake TV program on BS. Asahi Ei, the first sake brand, was introduced on a Japanese Sake TV program on BS before. Cold sake. Slightly subdued aroma like white peaches. The mouthfeel is smooth and easy to drink. Slightly acidic with a moderate umami. When heated, the moderate umami is enhanced and the aftertaste is dry.

Last week I took a day trip to visit the Sakurao distillery in Hiroshima. I bought a bottle of sake at the distillery, not whiskey... 😂. And I finally got to go to Miyajima on my third visit to Hiroshima - I think people who go to Saijo on their first or second visit to Hiroshima are pretty much sake drinkers...or sake lovers 🤪. Cold sake Ripe fruit aroma, floral aroma too. Gentle sweetness with a crisp aftertaste. Slightly hardness. The alcohol content is slightly higher than indicated.

Purchased at Senboku Takashimaya I was looking for a sake for warming up and this is my first grandchild in a long time! At room temperature. Aroma of white powder and chestnuts. Smooth on the palate with a gentle richness from the yeast. When heated, the acidity of the yeast yeast mellows out and balances out the umami.

Purchased last month when I went to Kobe on an errand. I was curious about Nada Kiku because it was introduced in a sake magazine. I thought it was Nada Gogo, but it turned out to be a Harima sake 🤣The sake name was taken from Nada of Harimanada. Cold sake Aroma of sour cream The first sip had a slightly voluminous umami and astringent taste with a sharpness that cut right through, but as the meal progressed, it became more and more light and refreshing. No hardness or blurriness on the palate.

Last month I took a drive to Terauchi-machi in Tondabayashi. On the way home, I stopped by Saijo Goushi Kaisha, which brews Amano sake. Amano sake is brewed only at the brewery. Last Sunday, my friends and I went on a foliage tour to see the changing leaves of autumn 🍁. We went to Muroji Temple and Akame 48 Waterfalls in Nara. It was nice because it was hard to get there without a car and there were not many crowds 😄. On the way back home, I went to Takihama Sake Brewery, which is open on holidays 😊. I had it for the first time at the Takashimaya Sake Festival and loved it 😊. Purchased at Kuwano Shoten in Higashisumiyoshi Ward Cold sake Juicy aroma of white peach and astringent taste of persimmon. It has a gentle umami flavor with a clean finish. The sweetness that you can taste from the middle of the sake is very impressive 🤔.

Bought it because there was a Hokuriku sake event at LUCUA in August. I'm a sucker for the word "limited edition" 😂. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to buy it in the same bottle as the other two. At room temperature Aroma like chestnut Slightly refreshing on the palate Strong alcohol taste from the mid-palate Because it is a pure sake and 20 degrees Celsius, you can feel it. The aftertaste is very sharp.

At Noboru Sake Shop, a frequent customer in Nara This is the first time to drink Yatagarasu's limited distribution series! Cold sake Slightly pale gold in color Gentle aroma of banana and lactic acid. Light on the palate but with umami and characteristic acidity I looked it up and found it was made with Yamahai 👀 I didn't notice it at all...
