Good evening.
As a Wakanami promoter...I bought it with a sense of mission!
Tojo Yamadanishiki is expensive.
It is said to be hi-ire, but the initial reaction is not gaseous, but it is juicy.
It has a mild Yamadanishiki-like flavor that seems to swell up.
Melon aroma, but also a touch of grape-like astringency on the palate.
The finish is gentle, with the alcohol expanding.
Delicious! It's good!
But... it's expensive 🥹.
This time it is Wakanami Honjozo.
This sake is from Okawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
One day I had some time to kill, so I went to Kadoya-san and found this little guy standing in line. I had to bring them home.
It's been a long time since I drank Wakanami.
I drank it cold.
Crystal color with a hint of yellow. Fine bubbles.
The top aroma is of apples, pears, cotton candy, green bamboo, and freshly pounded rice cakes.
The pleasant, slightly effervescent mouthfeel is followed by a light, rice-cake-like rice flavor. The fruity sweet and sourness gently accompanies it, and it finishes off smoothly.
After opening the bottle for a while, the density of sweet and sourness increases, and the banana-like texture also expands.
Actually, it was not so good when I opened it,
But if you drink it at a temperature that is not too cold after opening the bottle, I think it will blossom.
I finally got around to drinking Wakanami Honjozo!
There are so many more sakes I want to drink🤗.
Good evening, Hirupeko!
I've been wanting to try this Wakanami Honjozo for a long time and came across it at the first liquor store I went to the other day! I gave up on it at that time, but after reading your review, it still looks delicious 🤤I think I'll go buy some 😁.
Hi Peco 🐦.
This book brewing is delicious 😻Reviews still make me want to drink it 😊.
I'm thinking of going to Kadoya for the first time in about a year 😁.
Hello, Kotaro-san. I see you were also interested in Wakanami Honjozo, Kotaro-san! It's a great price and next time you come across it, please take him home 😊.
Hi Pon-chan. I used to stay away from liquor stores because when I go there, I end up taking a lot of stuff home with me, but it's nice to take a peek once in a while😊I'd love to tour the liquor stores in Shiga someday!
Wakanami Junmai Ginjo Hisashinmu Hi-iri 720ml
Rice used: 100% Jushinmu grown in Fukuoka Prefecture
Rice used: 95.5% Jushinmu, 4.5% Yamadanishiki
Rice polishing ratio: 55
Alcohol content: 15
The day after the nama-shu, we opened the bottle of hi-ire.
The hi-ire was more cohesive than the nama-shu. The acidity is slightly more mature.
However, the world view of umami acidity is the same.
Both are delicious 😋.
WAKANAMI Junmai Ginjo Jushinmu Nama Shu 720ml
Rice: 95.5% Jushinmu, 4.5% Yamadanishiki
Rice polishing ratio: 55
Alcohol content: 15%.
This sake was produced in 2025.03. It has been hi-ire (04).
The only difference on the outside is the Nama-shu seal.
So, let's start with the first sip of the unpasteurized sake.
The first sip 👀 suddenly spreads a sour taste.
It's amazing, this sourness. Of course, it's not just sour, but it's followed by a delicious sake.
It's a strange but unique view of the world 😋.
Good morning Masaaki Sapporo 😃.
I received the draft sake in April and when I went to Nagano for GW, I found the fire-brewed one and brought it to you 😃.
We have a half a bottle of each left, so we will compare them 😋.
Ama-uma-saaan(Sweet, delicious and acidic)! Very well balanced! Nothing to say. If you see it, you must drink it.
The mouthfeel is mellow, not too light and not too heavy, and it finishes softly. It may not be suitable for those who prefer dry sake.
When I visited Fukuoka in early spring, I went to the Hana-no-Kou Sake Brewery to get a bottle of Hana-no-Kou instead of San-do. This is the one I brought back from among the many varieties of Wakanoha at a sake shop in Yanagawa.
When I came home from work, the kitchen was not cleaned, my sons didn't seem to come down at all, and I was thinking, "I don't want to cook rice, wash dishes, and think about dinner myself on Father's Day! When I got home, my second son made a main dish and miso soup. So I left it to him so that I could put out the garbage tomorrow morning, and vacuumed a little. I was vacuuming a little so I could put out the garbage tomorrow morning.
Here's what I've been looking forward to 💁.
Wakanami's raw 🍶✨.
Of course, it was a gift from D Paisen 😅.
Sweet and juicy 🥹✨Delicious ❣️
It's easy to drink 😋 because it's clean and fruity, or rather, not too strong.
I also like the aftertaste 💖.
Thank you T&D 🙇♂️
Good evening, Nao888!
The Honjozo is also delicious 😋.
After all, it's the most cost-effective 🥹❣️
I often forget to give it to you too 😅I'm drunk after all😎👍
Thank you, Mr. Muro 😄♪
Wakanami no Kotobukinmu ♡ must be delicious 😍
Yes, it has a nice lingering taste 😘.
I bought the Honjozo before Kotobukinmu but haven't had it yet 😜I have to drink it soon 〰︎😆
Tropical aroma of young bananas.
Almost no gas.
Sweetness develops in the mouth, with the acidity just leaning in. The bitterness slowly tightens up at the end.
The bitterness is more easily felt when the temperature approaches room temperature.
Wakanami Honjozo, which I bought again because I saw it.
It is very useful for me as a price adjustment when I want to buy a little expensive bottle.
Thanks Wakanami.
The taste is exactly the same as the impression I had one time before.
It has a strong acidity and an aftertaste of alcohol rather than bitterness.
The sweetness is not so strong, so it has a wine-like taste.
Memorandum
Sake rice: Juboshikinmu
Rice polishing ratio 55
Sweet and fruity on the palate. It is bright and champagne-like. It is quite easy to drink with moderate acidity. The aftertaste is juicy. Delicious.
Amazingly cosy sake!
A honjozo sake that is no exaggeration to say that it is the Honmaru of Jyushidai in the world of dry sake!
Refreshing ginjo aroma.
(despite the 70% polishing).
There is definitely a sense of gasiness that can be felt.
(There is no mention of bottle heating or refrigeration required.)
Fresh, tasty acidity and dryness that makes it sharp. 😋😋😋😋
(It is a fire-brewed honjozo sake.)
Sweetness and spiciness are slightly dry. Body is fine.
The aluzo additives are not bothersome.
Priced at 2000 yen without tax.
(The No. 4 bottle was 1,100 yen.)
I picked this one up because I had a vague recollection of someone's high evaluation of it at Sake-no-wa, and I recommend it in a bottle for those who are OK with aluzochi.
