Purchased at a liquor store in Shimonoseki Found while sightseeing in Moji/Shimonoseki on Coming-of-Age Day! Chose Nakashimaya's Yamaguchi limited edition sake, which is often seen in Fukuoka Cold sake! Muscat-like aroma! Slightly gassy and acidic. Lightly cloudy with a moderate volume from the mid-palate. The astringent aftertaste is impressive.

Purchased at a liquor store on the way back from a New Year's visit to Dazaifu Kamo Kanehide, Garyubai, Matsunotoshi, Miyoshigiku, Imoritani, etc., which are not so common in Fukuoka. I chose Kamo Kanehide, which I drank for the first time at the Saijo Sake Festival and liked. Cold sake Subdued aroma. The taste is clean and refreshing. The volume of Omachi is modest, but the umami is strong. The more you drink, the fuller the flavor becomes. Good as a food sake.

A friend of mine from Hiroshima came back home and gave this to me as a gift. It's been a long time since I've had a Chiketsuru. It is said to be flat polished rice! It was served cold. The aroma is heavy but round, which is characteristic of Chiketsuru's sake. It is mature yet sharp, with a twang but also a gentle side. It is not very wide but has a lot of depth. When it is warmed up, the width remains the same but the depth increases. The length of the flavor is short, but the aftertaste is long after swallowing. The description says it is slightly dry, but I didn't feel it was that dry 🤨.

Purchased at a liquor store I found DAN at a liquor store for the first time and was attracted to it 🤩. I thought that Yamanashi is the only place in the world that has a strong image of Shichiken... I would like to try Seikou someday... Cold sake Aroma is modest Smooth and gentle on the palate From the middle stage, you can feel the freshness and boldness that is peculiar to nama sake. However, it is not stagnant either. It goes in smoothly and gently, and after swallowing it, you can feel its strength.

On the way back from a New Year's visit to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, I stopped by Oga Sake Brewery to purchase some. The oldest sake brewery in Fukuoka, the local brand Tamadezumi is often seen in supermarkets. Chose the limited edition! Cold sake Sweet and sour aroma Low alcohol and very easy to drink Sweet taste like green dakara It is rather mellow sweetness and leaves a long aftertaste on the tongue at the end of drinking. Long aftertaste. Ideal as an aperitif or after-dinner drink

This is my first time at Tamagawa except for the ice breaker. Cold sake. The aroma is subdued. Rich, full-bodied rice sweetness. Sourness and a slight astringency on the back end. The alcohol content is high (17%), so you can feel the strength of the alcohol after swallowing. It went well with nabe dishes.

Purchased at the Tokyo University of Agriculture's Antenna Shop I am ashamed to say that I learned about this brewery when I read an article about a sake brewery that was damaged by the Noto Peninsula earthquake last year! There are only a few liquor stores in Fukuoka that carry it, and I was finally able to find it! It's a hiya de Grain aroma Classic light type Moderately mellow and crisp aftertaste Firm rice flavor and a wide range of aroma. Good as a food sake

Happy New Year 🐍! Last year, I had the opportunity to attend a brewery open house for the first time in my life and meet a lot of sake lovers 🍶. Thanks to that, I probably checked in about 200 times last year 😆. And maybe that's why I gained so much weight😅. So this year, I want to enjoy my sake life by trying to only buy brands that I've never had at home 😌. I used to be a bit of a shopaholic, buying a bottle of something when I went to the liquor store... I also want to get rid of the habit of opening a new bottle even though I still have some left... Well, the first sake of 2025 was my first Jyushidai for drinking at home! Cold sake Melon-like aroma! Elegant sweetness and pleasant rice flavor The aftertaste is fresh and fades away in a refreshing way.

Happy Merry Christmas 🎄🎁🎅. I bought KAWABU, which I posted about one sake that has a gassy feel to it, and I looked for another bottle of sake that is appropriate to drink on Christmas and bought it! Sake that aims to be a rosé wine. The color is so beautiful Cold sake. Dark and sweet cherry aroma 🍒. When you put it in your mouth, the rich sweetness is in full bloom. The sweetness spreads in the mouth first and the acidity gradually appears. Reminiscent of rosé wine with no acidity or astringency. It went very well with chicken on the bone 🍗.

Purchased at a sake shop We decided to have chicken on Christmas Eve, so we chose a sake to go with it 🎄. Last year it was Sansho, so this year I was looking for a sake with a gaseous taste, and I bought KAWABU, which I have had before! This is my first time drinking sake at home! Cold sake Fresh aroma Crisp and fruity acidity. Chilli gas feeling. Junmai ogara-mi, so you can feel the umami and volume of the rice. There is a moderate astringency in the aftertaste. It is good as a stand-alone sake, but it might be better as a food sake. It went well with fried chicken.

Purchased at a liquor store This is my first brand. I've always thought the name was cool since I saw it 3 years ago at a liquor store in Teradacho, Osaka 👀. I don't think you can find it in liquor stores very often. Cold sake The aroma is subdued. Sophisticated and easy to drink. It has a firm structure that is unique to sake in its original state. The aftertaste is astringent and tingling.

Whenever I go to Kurume for business, I always stop by this liquor store. I had a chance to talk with Mr. Shibata, the toji (master brewer), the month before last, so I bought a bottle. Cold sake Gorgeous fruity aroma of apples and pears. Sharp and light acidity characteristic of Kido Refreshing and crisp. Very elegant taste. The volume of the Kido I've had so far is not too bad.

I've finished all the hiyaoroshi I bought this year in previous posts, but before you know it, it's time for new sake! A season that I hate in a way because it requires refrigeration and the fridge fills up quickly 😂. And the chosen one is Nanada's newest top of the line, Ihyakumangoku Nama! Cold sake The aroma is subdued. The aroma is subdued, with the lightness of Gohyakumangoku Roughness of unfiltered sake It has the umami of medium-hard water brewing unique to Shichida. It goes well with Japanese food such as grilled fish.

This is my first brand. Urasato, an image that many people (especially of nigori) have posted in Sake-no-wa. I finally had a chance to drink it 😊. Cold sake Gentle banana-like aroma. Fruity but without that much width and depth Clear and crisp aftertaste. The sharp lightness characteristic of Miyamanishiki is healthy. After a few days, the acidity gradually spreads.

Purchased at a liquor store I visited a liquor store for the first time in a long time, and after much deliberation, I chose Atago no Matsu, which is written in kanji characters and which I had never drunk before. Purchased at a liquor store This is probably the last hiyaoroshi of this year! And it is the most delicious hiyaoroshi of the year 😋. At Hiyayoroshi Mild aroma with dried fruit-like aroma Smooth mouthfeel Roundness and depth with a sense of maturity Taste is not that heavy Deep aftertaste When warmed up, it has a well-balanced taste of strength and mellowness. It has a long lingering aftertaste.
