I had not known the other brewery's sake produced by Bodaimoto until I try this.
It tastes as fruity as Mimurosugi's one. This uses the Omachi which is not ranked because of the failure. However, it definitely is so good.
Moretz interopened ALPHA The final chapter of the drinking comparison: ‼️
This sake is a TYPE2 pure large specs 😊.
It's also being sold as a relief sake for the victims of last month's heavy rain: ☺️
We wish the victims a speedy recovery 🙇♂️
The rice polishing ratio is 22%, and there are special versions such as zaru-harvesting and mid-harvesting, but this time it's the normal version 🤗.
The aroma is more intense than other TYPEs we've had so far, and it makes you want to drink it even before you start.
The taste is more berry than grape, more strawberry than strawberry.
This is the end of my review of ALPHA, but how many months has it already been 💦?
There's still some left to go...
I'll try to mix in some timely reviews from time to time...
Let's keep it nonchalant 😘.
Good evening, Masha 🌙
Good job on the ALPHA drink comparison😊This drink tastes like something you would like ❣️ It's also good to support the recovery efforts👍
I just realized it's July. ‼️
I've been working 6 days in a row for 2 weeks in a row and I'm exhausted on Sunday 😂.
Finally, the mid-year sales and clearance delivery is coming to an end, so I'm a little bit relaxed today 🥹.
Let's list some of the things that have been piling up 🤗
Two more ALPHA series left...
First of all, a tribute to TYPE6 No. 6 😊.
Speaking of No.6 yeast, Shinsei ‼️
In fact, the only Shinsei I've ever had, including outings, is the Flaxcat I drank and posted about at a year-end party the other night.
So I honestly don't know the characteristics of No. 6 😆.
Well, is it more acidic than other sake using No.7? The sourness comes to the fore 😋.
That's about all I can clearly feel: 😮💨
I still have a stupid tongue, but I know it's delicious 🤣.
I drank it all up in one day 😜‼️😜
Good evening, Masha!
You have been steadily comparing drinks 😊👍I have never met this one so I will refer to it 🙏.
I'm sorry you had a hard day at work 😳‼️ enjoy drinking and relaxing on your day off🎶.
Good morning Masha 😃
I see that the middle of the year is a busy season 🥲Please drink as much as you want from now on 😌Do you need to be told to drink... 🤣
Hi Rafa 😊
June and December are the hardest months every year 😭
This year 🐯 is doing even better so I'm worried about October 😥.
I never stop drinking no matter how busy I am🤣.
I drink in moderation 😋.
Hoshizumi Kyokai 8 yeast, light nigori
Purchased at Noboru Sake Shop at the Nara Off-line meeting
I got in on it when I saw 🐰🐰, the host of Nara Off-line meeting, buy it 😅.
I got in on the fun 😅.
The concept was "I want people to feel the characteristics of yeast".
The concept is "I want you to feel the characteristics of the yeast" 😅.
Using the same raw rice
Use unique traditional yeast
Ginjo-zukuri" to bring out the characteristics of the yeast
Pursuit of clear aroma and taste
Delicious... 🤤.
Sourness is very characteristic and addictive...
Both acidity and sweetness are very assertive 😤.
And yet they complement each other 😌.
It's like drinking a high quality lactic acid drink!
Lightly sparkling, slightly cloudy and refreshing ✨.
Rabbit🐰, it was delicious 😋.
Hello Rafa 😃
Oh, Rafa-san is drinking Hoshisen 😁 I'm so happy 😆.
I hope there will be more Hoshisen fans in Kansai and more stores where you can buy it 🥺.
Hello Manachie 😃
This is my first time to drink Hoshisen 😊 it's delicious 😋 it's rich in sweetness and sourness but it tastes so refreshing that I can drink as much as I want 🤣 I would like to try other yeasts too 🤣.
Hello bouken😃
I actually didn't know about Hoshisen 😅I got on board when I saw Usagi 🐰 buy it 🤣I was right to get on board ✅bouken, Nemuchi and I decided to get on board with the sake that Usagi 🐰 buys 🤣.
Good evening, Mr. Hissan 😃
I'm so jealous 😳 You drink a lot of hoshisen 🤣 I've never had it before but it's a delicious drink 😋Tou-san was the first time I went there and they had a wide variety of drinks to choose from 😊.
Good evening, Ponchan 😃.
It was a great decision to get on the flight 🤣✌️ I would like to try other yeast drinks 😊I highly recommend it...the rabbit 🐰😅
Good evening Rafa 😊.
I didn't know about Hoshisen either 😝.
I go to Noboru-san every now and then, but mostly to buy Nara sake, so I don't pay much attention to it at all 🤣I guess it's fun to go there with someone else instead of alone 😁.
Hi Masha 😃
I'm almost always sure of a drink that I don't know and someone recommended 🤣It's fun to go to a liquor store with different people and meet new drinks 😌.
Kaze no Mori ALPHA series drinking comparison
It's been a while since my last post, but it's still going on a bit... 😆
This time we have TYPE 5, subtitled "The Quest for Heated Sake".
The label says "ver.7" which means it's been 7 years since the last one.
I can't wait to try it and see how much it has evolved 😋.
First, take it out of the fridge and open the bottle: ‼️
It is champagne gold with some color and the aroma is not that strong.
A little sweetish caramelized aroma 😊.
Even though it's designed to be heated, it's still very fresh and I can't tell any difference from other Kaze no Mori.
It's delicious and satisfying enough to drink cold or chilled as it is 😋.
But the recommended temperature is 30-35 degrees Celsius, so warm it up to that level.
The color of the thermo seal has changed 🤩.
Here's a sip!
I see ‼️ the quality of the aroma has changed 🤔.
The aroma has changed from sweetness to a mild yet refreshing aroma of delicious heated sake😍.
The mouthfeel is soft and full with a refreshing flavor that is different from the cold one.
I think it tastes best at 45 degrees Celsius 🤗.
Good evening, Ponchan 🌙
It's been a while since I've replied to a comment 😅.
My apologies to you all 🙇♂️
The ALPHA series is so interesting, so many things have been tried 😊.
Next one is 6 😋.
Next is ALPHA8
This sake is brewed with 100% brown rice, a brewing method I have never seen or heard of before.
Well, I'm sure there are other breweries that make it...
The taste... as it says on the back label, it's similar to the way beer is brewed, so it definitely has an amber color and a slightly savory, barley-like flavor 😋.
But it still has a slight freshness that is typical of Kaze no Mori 😏.
Masha
Hello 😃
I heard that Miyakanbai worked on something similar in the past
but I think the only one that is available now is Kaze no Mori.
I think the only one that's available now is Kaze no Mori.
I like this one because of its savory flavor 😊.
Hi Masha, ☁️
I've only tasted it, but it's unique, isn't it? I remember being surprised by the roasted flavor 😆 and yet it's a wind forest. I saw it while saying so and so 😄👍
Good evening Masha 😃
I haven't had a drink at Kaze no Mori for a long time 😅You are trying a lot of things 👍I think it's great that you are not satisfied with the status quo 😊I'm the type of person who gets satisfied easily... 🤣
Hi ☀️
I have 3 bottles of Wind Forest!
Does brown rice mean it's not milled?
So it's savory with a touch of Kaze no Mori shuwah 😁.
I haven't had a Kaze no Mori in a long time 😰.
Masha Good evening ⭐︎
I thought it was like a Belgian beer 💡.
It looks like Kaze no Mori will continue to collaborate with other industries to develop interesting products ❗️
I'm still slacking on posting 😅
Second in the ALPHA series from last time 😋.
This sake was brewed with the intention of exporting to overseas. I've been slacking on posting as usual... 😅This is the second bottle of the ALPHA series from last time.
But when you drink it, it doesn't feel fire-brewed at all, it still has a freshness to it. ‼️
Once again, I realized the high potential of this sake brewery.
This is the second bottle of Hoshisen I bought in Nara!
Slightly effervescent, rich sweetness like lychee.
It has a slightly dry atmosphere and is sweeter than the No. 5 yeast.
It also has a burnt candy-like taste.
I wish there were more stores where I could buy it.
I drank a bottle of the 607 resurrection wine from Kaze no Mori at the end of February. I was thinking that I have never drank all the ALPHA series 🤔.
I decided to run to Tenri and buy as much ALPHA as I could 😊.
Due to the stock and my pocketbook, I was only able to buy the 4.7.
I didn't go all out, but the 4 was a bit too expensive and the 7 was too limited and not in stock😅.
By the way, each version is a regular brew.
I didn't buy any of the later versions, so I think I have a total of 6 bottles ❓
I'll list the reviews in order: ✌️
Let's start with TYPE1.
The ALPHA series has switched to all Bodai yeast, which is the biggest difference from the regular series.
The difference in brewing method is probably the most important factor in the difference in flavor!
Overall, I felt that the hard and tangy sensation that is unique to Kaze no Mori was weaker.
The overall impression was less of that hard, tangy feeling that is characteristic of Kaze no Mori.
It's a little short for those who like the traditional version, but it still retains the Kaze no Mori style 😊.
Hi Masha, ☀️
I see you went to buy the ALPHA series! That's a lot 😳‼️ I'm learning a lot as I've hardly drank any yet 🙏 I want to drink ALPHA1 again as soon as possible 😆👍
Good evening, Ponchan 🌙
Yes 😊I sometimes want to do this kind of random drinking comparison and buy them in bulk 😋I thought again that this series is a version of various challenges 😁.
Sake limited to 6 stores nationwide. Purchased from Noboru Sake Shop in Tenri.
After ordering from takeshon Sake Shop, I always wanted to go there to buy it. This is the only store in the Kansai region that specializes in Hoshisen.
They have an overwhelming selection of famous Nara sake.
There are many brands other than Nara that are not available in Kansai, such as Kenshin, Tenka Nishiki, Librom, Shikishima, and Hoshizumi.
This time, I only went to Hoshizumi because there were other sake shops I wanted to visit.
It has a flavor like Kyoho grapes and a slightly milky taste. It is more refreshing than the Hiragana series, but sweet and delicious. The lingering sweetness of the 🍇 flavor is long.
The No. 5 yeast is said to have originated from Kamotsuru.
I wonder if Hoshiizumi is a segregated series that uses Hiragana two-digit yeast and Kanji yeast, which is no longer used in modern times.
Good evening, bouken 🌙
I didn't know there was a store in Kansai that sells it 😳‼️ for some reason, there are some attractive liquor stores in far away places 😅.
I'd love to taste the Kyoho flavor ❣️
Good evening, Ponchan 😃.
This was the main reason I went to Nara 😆.
They used to come to department stores for tasting and selling but recently they stopped coming 😥The stores where you can buy Hoshisen in Chinese characters are limited even in Japan so they are very valuable dealers 🤗.
Good evening, bouken!
Noboru Sake Shop is one of my favorites too, they have a great selection👍.
I always get lost 👀 when I go there to buy 😅.
I haven't tried Hoshisen yet, so I'll definitely try it someday ✊.
Good evening, bouken🌛I went to Noboru Sake Shop on Saturday and picked up this sake that I was also interested in... but I didn't know it was that rare💦I bought Abe, Shikishima and Tenka Nishiki 😅I was also confused about the perverted sake Nippon Spirit 🤣.
Hi, Mr. Hissan, good evening 😃
I came here for HOSHIZUMI, but I thought I might quit and buy some sake. I was so busy that I thought 🤣They use the same rice and different yeast to make different kinds of sake, so it's very interesting. Please give it a try 😁.
Good evening, Nemuchi 😃.
I know many of you have been to Noboru-san recently 😁Masha-san also went there 🙄I gave up on Tenga Nishiki and Shikishima in tears 😭I stopped at the shelf of Nihon Soul after seeing Nemuchisan's post 🤣.
Good evening, Mr. Rabbit 🐰
Yes, this is it 😁.
No.5 yeast originated from Kamotsuru and is not used much anymore 🤔.
The other bottle I bought is also No. 8 yeast, which is a rare yeast 😊.
That assortment of products makes me go on a spending spree 🤣.
I have a pile of unposted... 😓
I'm going to open a lot of bottles at the start of the GW 😁.
This is the 25th anniversary sake of Kaze no Mori ㊗️
For the concept, please see the label in the 4th photo: 🙇♂️
The taste is a bit more subdued than the previous sakes in the lineup in terms of the umami and fruity flavors of the base.
It has a strong alcohol taste for its 14% alcohol content 🤔.
I like the tingling sensation that is unique to Kaze no Mori, but it's a bit lacking for me...
But I'm the type of person who likes challenging sake like this anniversary sake 😆.
I hope they continue to make various kinds of sake 😋.
Postscript 5/7
I opened it for 4 days and drank it again 😋.
I don't know if this is the power of microorganisms or not ‼️
I don't know... The tingling sensation is gone as a matter of course, but the lactic acid taste is getting stronger instead.
Sake is alive after all 😁.
It's becoming my favorite flavor!
Delicious 😋.
I bought this a while ago, but it's been a while since I've had it 😊.
It's called "Challenge Edition" and is a test brew of a previously brewed junmai standard version of the Omachi sake 😁.
Come to think of it, there is no 60 series now...
I'm an omatist so I'll definitely buy it 😆.
It has a pleasant sweetness that comes after a slight sourness while retaining the hard mouthfeel that is typical of Kaze no Mori 😋.
I love their sake too 🥰.
I'm looking forward to receiving a lot of ALPHA series at the end of the month 🤣.
Tokujun unfiltered unpasteurized sake made with Aizan 😊and directly pumped 😋.
The mouthfeel is round and soft 😊.
The mouthfeel is moist with a full, slightly sweet, fruity extract 😁.
I can also taste a little lactic acidity...apple-like?
The balance between the full-bodied flavor and refreshing acidity is good 😋.
And it's a good value for money even though it's made from Aizan.
The alcohol content is high at 20% because it is not watered down.
It has the same punch as Kaze no Mori and Daichi no Chikara, and the delicious taste of rice spreads across the tongue as soon as you drink it.
It is rather on the spicy side. It has a bit of harshness, but it's also good.
People who like the taste of rice will be hooked.
After the first half of the New Year's drinking party, we moved to my parents' house.
My mother, who raised me to be a great drinker, my sister and her husband, who raised me as well as I did, are waiting for me here 😆.
The first toast is this one, which was released late last year ‼️.
This is one of the long aged sake that Koueikiku has been secretly working on since they revived and started brewing 3 years ago.
Here is the message from the brewer
Aged for several months in "Amontillado" sherry casks, which are characterized by their hazelnut-like aroma, before bottling. It was then aged in ice temperature for another two years.
The sake used was brewed exclusively with Omachi to increase its sweetness.
The company said.
Sake aged in sherry casks? 😵.
And aged in ice temperature for 2 years? 😵.
I don't get it anymore... what kind of taste is that...
So I opened the bottle with 2 cheers and 1 bow....
This is... a noble rot wine 🤔.
It has a rounded and slightly thickened mouthfeel. Soft taste.
The sweetness in the mouth is soft. The nose is full of fresh sherry and oak aroma.
It is 12 degrees Celsius, so it is very quickly and easily 😱.
It was delicious 😋.
Good morning Masha 😃
Kouei Kiku you went there 😆 is it aged for 2 years in ice temperature in sherry casks 😳⁉️this is not sake anymore 🤣it looks delicious 😋.
Pon-chan Good evening 🌙This tastes so good that if you were to drink it blind, you wouldn't even feel it was sake. This is a great new experiment by the brewery 😁.
Good evening Rafa😊It's already wine 😆.
I know some wines are aged in brandy casks and the aroma is transferred to the wine 😁.
I drank it before dinner but it would be better with dessert after dinner 😋.
Good evening, Masha! I'm so happy to see you here 😄!
I see you drank a lot on New Year's Day 🤩 I saw it at a liquor store, but the price scared me more than the fridge problem! I saw it at the 🤩 liquor store, but the price scared me more than the fridge issue, so I passed on it! 🤣I knew it was too good 🤤🤤.
Hi MAJ 😃I already had the momentum 😆I want to be a Kouei Kiku master❗️I bought it 🤣I guess it's the New Year effect 😅But this is already beyond the category of sake 😵It's a dessert wine 😋.
Happy New Year ㊗️
Thank you to everyone who responded to my review, took a quick peek, and gave me a "like". We've had a lot happen along the way, but we're looking forward to another new year and a happy sake LIFE 😊.
And we started the new year with a greeting and toast at the home of the wife's parents 🍶.
My niece and her husband will join us as usual, so we have prepared a good amount of drinks 🤗.
We chose Morishima for the second bottle.
Junmai Daiginjo Shiboritate️ made with Omachi
This sake is brewed after a year of aging and storage.
It is said that this is the farmer's strong wish.
The farmer wants to make sure that the rice itself is matured before brewing.
This is a unique process that I have not heard of before.
Not only the brewer but also the rice farmer who provides the rice is very particular about making the best national sake.
The aroma is refreshing, with a ginjo aroma of muscat and rumminess.
And the mouthfeel is fresh and fresh 😊.
The taste is slightly light and soft, slightly sweet, clear and transparent 😋.
Happy New Year ㊗️
Thank you to everyone who responded to my review, took a quick peek, and gave me a "like". We've had a lot happen along the way, but we're looking forward to another new year and a happy drinking LIFE 😊.
And we started the new year with a toast and greetings at the home of the wife's parents 🍶.
My niece and her husband will be joining us, so we have prepared a good amount of sake 🤗.
The first bottle was a limited edition Junmai Daiginjo from Takachiyo.
The first bottle was a limited edition Junmai Daiginjo from Takachiyo, which has a fruity and crisp taste.
Of course, this is my first time drinking it...
It tasted just like I expected from Takachidai 😋.
It's so easy to drink 🤣.
I've only had the Hiragana brand, but I wonder if the Kanji version would be more suitable for an older person (sorry, I'm a bit prejudiced) who likes dry sake.
I was happy that not only my niece and her husband drank it, but also my brother-in-law and his wife who usually don't drink so much 🥰.
Happy New Year, Masha-san 🎍🎍!
It's nice to spend the New Year's Day with everyone around sake 😋😋 Let's make sake fans multiply 😆👍 Let's drink up more and more this year! Let's drink more and more sake this year!
Warmed Sake in Winter, Part 2
Following Tamagawa is Etsukaijin from Maruo Honten, a famous brewery in Sanuki.
I love this stuff so much😁.
I think this was one of the top brands during the sake boom about 20 years ago, wasn't it?
It still has the same thick body and rich flavor, but when heated, it becomes smooth and goes well with meals, especially nabemono.
I'm not sure what to make of it, but I'm sure it's a good idea.
I'd like to try the Junmai Ginjo as well 😋
Tamagawa, a foreigner from Kumihama, Kyoto, is known as "Harper's Toji.
This is my first post on Sake no Wa 🤗
It's been very cold this year.
I'm sure some of you had a hard time with the heavy snowfall in February.
I️ love to drink warmed sake when it's extremely cold.
This is one of the two brands I love to warm sake👍.
This time it's the 2018 BY Yamahai Omachi😁.
I've been using it with Mizutaki, Yose-nabe, Codfish, Oyster and other hot pot dishes, along with another bottle of sake🥰
Enjoy the different flavors and tastes as the temperature warms up to almost 50 degrees and then gradually drops😊.
I'm a big fan of spicy sake💓.
(Left.
For the second time in my life, I'm drinking sake from my birth year!
It's an aged sake, but it's the same sake that we drank before, but before it was put into the cedar barrel (second photo).
It's light and refreshing, and the added water makes the sake less concentrated and rejuvenates the overall moisture content, so the aged feeling is milder.
I wish I could.
(Right.
The image of the sake from the same place is round!
There are no corners, and it has a slight mirin-like taste.
It's not sweet, it's light, and it's not too aged.
(No photo
Shinin Shinin
Japanese sake aged in oak barrels
Like an elegant whiskey with water.
It has a strong aroma of rice at the end, but it is round and gentle.
