Sake from Saiki City, Oita Prefecture🍶.
Like "Sorin" from Usuki City, Oita Prefecture and "Sentoku" from Nobeoka City, Miyazaki Prefecture, this sake is from a warm region and has a rich, robust flavor. The aftertaste is slightly acidic, with a full-bodied lingering aftertaste that lingers for a long time.
The store where we purchased it described it as slightly sweet, but to be honest, we thought it was slightly dry.
Based on my experience at Sentoku, I prepared chicken tendon as a side dish, but it was so mellow that the side dish was still too much to compete with it.
Yesterday was the brewery opening of Nakano Sake Brewery in Oita where Chiebijin is brewed🌸.
I heard that the dress code was pink, so I put on a pink bandana (actually, it didn't have to be a pink one?).
There was also limited sake on sale, but I drank a lot at the venue, so I decided to pass on it this time.
On the way back to Yufuin, I bought some Oita sake at Kinrindo, a sake shop in Yufuin.
It was a liquor store with a footbath: ♨️
Cold sake
Floral aroma
Slightly floral aroma, but with a gentle umami and sweetness.
Good sharpness
Slightly astringent aftertaste
Hi Eezy 🐦.
I love the dress code 😳 interesting 😆 pink🩷, might be too hard for men💦.
Pink Chiebijin barrels are the cutest 😻I'd love to see them in person 😻
A glass on a trip to Kyushu 🍶.
It is easy to drink with a hint of sweetness. But after drinking it, it's crisp and very easy to drink! It was too delicious.
Pairs well with sashimi 💮.
Purchased in Oita Prefecture during a road trip
I had never had much sake from Oita, where sake and shochu cultures are mixed.
Aromatic and crisp
A sake that goes well with food.
The label is cute🌸
The snack was a souvenir from Hachinohe City, where I went on a trip the other day 🦑🧀.
