Kikuhime after a long time At room temperature Pale topaz color Aroma of austere woody aroma and lactic acid like sour cream Sourness and richness peculiar to Yamahai spread from the deep umami. It has a long aftertaste. It becomes fuller and sharper when heated.

I bought this when I went to Shizuoka to visit my grandmother during Obon! It's a new brewery in Shizuoka that was reborn this year! Cold sake! Aroma of banana and ripe fruits. Light and refreshing! Dry aftertaste with acidity I found out that Ogawa yeast is used. The aroma was light but gorgeous.

The book is a few years old, so the ingredients in it may have changed... Cold sake. Aroma of white peach fruit and minerals Gentle umami on the palate. Purchased at a liquor store while living in Fukuoka The temperature has dropped a bit and it's cooler now, so I'm in the mood for a hot sake. My first brand of Tamasakura! Hot sake. Moderate aroma. Very sharp Astringent but with a clean aftertaste. Pale outline gives the impression of being gently enveloped. Seems to be good even when heated to a very high temperature.

Purchased at my former job while living in Fukuoka It's becoming popular here and there. It is a standard sake of the Shichiyou Sake Brewery, which brews Yuma. I heard that they will gradually increase the number of distributors starting this year, so I really hope they will have a distributor in Osaka as well 😊. Cold sake Aroma: Modest fruit aroma. To the Takashimaya Sake Festival Thank you for letting me join you, Nemuchi 😊. It was an exciting day to learn about many brands and types of sake that I had never tried before 😄. I was curious about Kinryo, which was recommended by a person I met at a sake bar, so I bought it! Cold sake Oily and floral aroma with a hint of acidity Fresh and fruity aroma. Light and well-balanced sweetness and acidity. The volume of rice flavor is well balanced. Junmai is less light than junmai ginjo, but the umami is more intense.

Last week, I met up with a local friend for the first time in two years and we went to Ueno Castle together! On the way home, I remembered that Moriki Sake Brewery, which brews Rumiko's sake, is located in Iga City, so I asked them to stop by 🙏. I bought a bottle of Ei, which I've never had before, and was curious about its cool name 😂. The toji (master brewer) happened to be there and we talked to him about a lot of things! It was nice to meet him at the Takashimaya Sake Festival last week 😊. Cold sake Ripe pear, white dumpling and mineral aroma Calm impression Light acidity and round, full flavor Very well-balanced with a dry aftertaste

Chose Nishinomon, the first brand at a liquor store in a while. Cold sake Aroma of mellow green apple. Well-balanced with gentle acidity and light umami. The aftertaste disappears without a hitch. This may be one of my favorites among Nagano sake!

Purchased when I went to Shizuoka to visit my grandmother for Obon At a local liquor store Cold sake. The nose is rich with banana, ripe pear and woody notes. The palate is smooth with a gradually expanding umami flavor. Soft acidity and sweetness gently cut through the aftertaste.

We've reached 900 check-ins ✨ The commemorative sake is Takasago, which I bought at a nearby liquor store when I drove to Kiyamasa Sake Brewery. I've been back in Osaka for the past month, so I've been exploring new sake shops 👀 and thanks to that, I have over 20 bottles in stock at home... 😅I'm sure it won't be long before I reach 1000 check-ins! I'll be actively participating in sake events in the Kinki area that I couldn't attend before 🙌! Cold sake Gorgeous ginjo aroma Gentle and light on the palate The rice flavor and the volume of the sake is enough to be served as a mealtime sake.

The day before I left for Osaka last month, I went to visit the breweries of Segashira Sake Brewery in Tocho and Gomachida Sake Brewery in Toichi. Both breweries are next to each other, and as many of you may know, Gomachida is a branch of Secho (by the way, Kinegawa in Nagasaki is also a branch). I didn't know that Tocho was named by Takashi Hara and MacArthur liked to drink it... I bought it at a liquor store in Saga station on my way home. Cold sake. Rich aroma of nuts and cheese Easy to drink and smooth on the palate. Moderate sweetness with a crisp aftertaste Compared to Toichi, Tocho seems to be more mellow sake.

Purchased at a department store I went to Toyohashi for an anime pilgrimage with my friends when I visited my grandmother in Shizuoka during the Bon Festival. The day before we went there, there was a special on the world that Matsuko doesn't know about about anime holy places, so I thought there would be a lot of people there, but there were very few 😂. At room temperature Light white grapes, floral aroma. Smooth mouthfeel and gradually spreading flavor. Volume is also there and it lasts until the aftertaste.
