くま吉Purchased at a liquor store near Ohashi Station where you can buy sake on the corner.
It was the first time I had seen this Fukuoka brand and was made by a sake brewery called Kataoka Sake Brewery.
(Just after opening the bottle)
Drink it cold.
Clear with a slight yellow tint.
Mellow and classic sake aroma.
Very full and rich in the mouth.
The aftertaste is surprisingly clear and refreshing.
Not too dry.
When paired with chicken tataki, the strong flavor of the snacks is not overpowered, and the clear aftertaste makes the snacks go further.
It is delicious on its own, but also excellent as a food sake.

This sake was made by a group of local volunteers who had never brewed sake before.
They started rice cultivation in 2021
and now it will be unveiled for the first time in May 2022 😆.

Kataoka Shuzo seems to be producing a sake called Houjuzan, so maybe you can buy it at any store that sells Houjuzan even if you don't go to Toho.
