Birthday gift alcohol, Part 2 It's called Sake no Wawa 50 check in. Ibaraki sake that Manachie hasn't had yet😊. It's clear, light, a little bitter and has quite a bit of sake feel to it. A little graininess. It is good to drink with soda or on the rocks. The more you drink red rice or ancient rice sake, the more you realize the greatness of Ine Mangaka 🤔.

I was impressed with the Miyamanishiki Hi-Kiri that I had previously tasted, so I tried the nama-shu as well. It is fruity, sweet and delicious, but a little refreshing. It also seems to have more acidity. The hi-ire version seems more cohesive, but I personally prefer the nama-zake. It tasted good when it was first opened, but on the third day, it's not so good. The bitterness is getting much stronger. I think I would prefer the more stable fire-roasted version.

The sake is brewed by "Toroki Shouten", a sake brewer who was involved in growing the rice and brewing it together with Wakatakeya Sake Brewery. I got it as a sign of support 😊 Is it what's called a light, dry taste? It had a faintly sweet aroma, but the sip was refreshingly watery! The flavor and bitterness come out on the palate. I was drinking it with cream cheese as an entrée, but it doesn't get in the way, so it's probably just right for a mid-meal drink 😊.

Rice used is Dewanosato At first sip, I thought, "This is delicious! This is quite a talented brewer. The moment you take a sip, the banana-like sweetness spreads, with a good amount of bitterness in the aftertaste. It is not gorgeous, but the atmosphere is calm and serene from start to finish. It is a nice and classy sake and I liked it❣️.

(o´ω-)b🍶🍶🍶🍶 Today I went to Hiroshima 🚅 for work 🎊 for the first time in my life. I ate okonomiyaki, went to an izakaya (Japanese style bar), and at the end, I got the last of a bottle of sake that the owner recommended 😊I got the last of a bottle as a courtesy 😋. It's like a summer sake with a refreshing taste 😚 and a crisp aftertaste 😋. It went well with oysters, small sardines, conger eels and other specialties. ❤️ I'm going to work hard tomorrow and then go back to the liquor store 🥳.

I got this at the Kokusyu Sake Fair. It said that any opened sake was 1,000 yen, so I bought an old turtle that I liked at the fair. I was a bit confused because the bottle was already opened, but the tank was full. I was a bit confused, but I thought maybe they sold it as opened because no one has a license to sell liquor 🤔. Some prefectures were selling it at the booth, but I guess they didn't expect to sell it there. Hachitan Nishiki and Momiji yeast are used. Fruity, apple and pear-like. A little gassy with a smooth mouthfeel. A little spicy at the end. I can't find the same label when I checked... New product? Pineapple-like when the temperature rises. There's a product called Red Turtle with the same specs, and I wonder if it's a renewal of that? Old Turtle seems to be renewing the labels of their other products, too. But I can't find much information about it... I feel it's very sweet when I drink Morinori Natsu-shu after drinking this... I think it tastes better when it is close to room temperature than when it is fresh out of the fridge. When I drank it at a national sake fair, it was a little colder than room temperature. When the gassiness goes away, it becomes more like a fruity dry sake.

National Sake Fair 2025 Day 2 part54 Hiroshima 4 Ono Sake Brewery in Kitahiroshima-cho I've heard of the name, but there don't seem to be any stores in Kansai where you can buy it. A sake brewery with a history of over 300 years in business Polishing ratio 60%, Hachitan-Nishiki, Momiji yeast, about 2,500 yen? A little gassy, bitter-sweet. I bought this sake and will post the details later 😊. I've been searching for the same product but can't seem to find it...

I saw a lot of Shuyoshi's La Chante at a souvenir shop in Akita. It was stored at room temperature in the sun, so I bought the one from the liquor store's refrigerator. I don't know whether it was made for sake lovers or wine lovers, but it was interesting. The Akita Sour was expensive, but it was okay. The miso macaroon from Kakunodate was delicious!

#Otsuka# w/o/a/ta/stone/too/akutsu This is the last round of the meal. We will have zosui (rice porridge) with the best soup stock. At the request of my companion, we had another glass of sake. It is a mellow and gentle sake. It is like taking a breather. It was a great end to the fiscal year ✨. It was a drink that will give me new energy for the next week 🎊🎊.

Fourth round of drinks with Go-ni-Go-san. Amanurin Tokubetsu Junmai Sake Limited Bottle Enclosure This is also my first time to drink Mie sake! I chose only sake from Tokai region😅. The rice used is Comet from Hokkaido. You can't ignore the sake made with Hokkaido rice, can you? It has a clear and refreshing taste typical of Comet. It has a gentle acidity and a good sharpness, so you can drink it easily. It is well-balanced with a good taste of rice. I️ think it's a versatile sake that can be used in any situation. I have drunk Tenyurin many times, but I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not.

Hakone Drink Comparison Set (2) On March 1, after a year-long event, I went on a trip to Hakone as a way of consolation! The local sake was served to compare with Japanese kaiseki. It was my first time to try Hakonezan! This is the spiciest sake in the group. It is a dry ginjo-shu as you might imagine, but it is moderately rich and very good as a mid-meal drink. Of course, it goes well with ingredients as they are, but it also goes well with dishes that have been added, such as those using dashi (Japanese soup stock)!

The ginjo aroma is citrusy (?) with a hint of fruity aroma 🥰, crisp and slightly sweet. I feel the same flavor as the "Ameirango San 77" I had one time before, but without the carbonation 😋. Yokohama Salmon Square (1) On Sunday, my high school classmate and I went to Yokohama Sake Square at the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse from 11:00 a.m. Stalls were mainly sake breweries from Kanagawa and neighboring prefectures. First, we started with a brewery I had never had a chance to try, Hakonezan Junmai Ginjo Blue Bottle It's hot, so it tastes good cold 🥳. A little sweet, not too much acidity? Light? Beautiful and easy to drink 😋. The brewery staff was there, so I was allowed to take their picture.
