The fourth one is Nechi-Osan. This is my first time to visit this brewery. I always thought it was "KONCHI". Sorry locals! The taste of rice is well expressed, but the overall taste is clean and dry. The aftertaste is a bit peculiar, but it is good in its own way. Thank you!

OSAKA SAKE&FOOD EXPO 2024⑳ Lastly, we went to the Komatsuya booth again. Nechi from Nechiozan, which is not seen very often. There were many different rice varieties, but we chose the Koshitanrei 1st class rice 2020. Nechi is only available at authorized dealers. It was easy to drink with a beautiful taste and a hint of sweetness. The review of this event was a bit of a mess, so please refer to Nechi's post later on 🤣.

This is Asahi Kiku Arahashiri, a Fukuoka souvenir 🍶. It's in a nice looking bottle, but it seems that during the new sake season, Fukuoka's sake is often served in these stoppered bottles. I thought it was nice because it can be corked tightly so it is easy to reuse. The initial aroma is slightly sweet, like cooked rice. In the mouth, it has a mild sweet flavor with a slight astringency. It finishes with a slight bitterness. The astringency was a bit strong, but the sake was delicious with a calm and full flavor typical of Asahi Kiku ✨.

A rare sake that tastes great hot. Sake No. 6 is made with Association No. 6 yeast. Also known as Shinsei yeast. The taste is refreshing and crisp when heated. It has a nice sharpness. I drank it cold, but warming it up is the right way to drink it. At home. First Tottori. The label is very historical. The aroma is the sake, but when you put it in your mouth, it is gentle. It has a strong alcoholic and dry taste in the nose, a bitter taste in the throat, and a smooth finish. I've heard that it's best served hot, so I think I'll give it a try.

According to the information on the back label, it's recommended to drink it hot or warm, but I had it cold this time. The aroma was as dobroku-like as it looked, but the true nature of the beer was crisp and dry. While rolling it around in your mouth, it has the same dobroku feeling as the image, but the moment you swallow it, it's so dry! It's a gap between the two. Today we had the pleasure of visiting a new restaurant in Esaka, Sake Noodles and Udon Udon Kan. It's a sister restaurant to the popular Kakitsubata, which is just around the corner. I was very impressed with the quality of the food served. The atmosphere and service were great, and the food was all delicious. .......... I remembered that it was still Tuesday, so I left the restaurant with a bowl of udon to finish off my meal.

And the second aged sake is Benten Musume. The aroma is the same as the first one. The mouthfeel is also rich in flavor, but it is lighter than Akishika. The aftertaste is also very similar, with a full-bodied sense of sake, but it ends relatively lightly with a light acidity. The appetizers were duck ham, Matsumae pickles, and pickles, all of which were excellent. Thank you for the meal!

The 5th Shinmae Festival, the 5th Kanno Thanksgiving Mie Shinshu Matsuri (15) Mie Nishiki, which we have not seen very often. The Mie Nishiki on the back label seems to be limited to Morishita Sake Shop. I think bouken-san drank it before. Mie Nishiki Chugutori Mie Nishiki Super Dry Junmai Ginjo (special order limited edition) The taste is mainly sour, with a slight yogurtiness, and a pungent aftertaste that gives it a clean, classic feel. I also saw several other limited editions with back labels from other breweries at Morishita Sake Shop. According to a group I met, Morishita Sake Brewery is in charge of this new sake festival in the fall, and Akafuku in the spring.

This is Mie Nishiki, a local sake from Iga, which we also bought in Okage Yokocho. It is a light and dry sake, perfect for a mealtime drink and easy to drink. When I saw the words "limited to Ise-Shima", I was tempted to buy it.

Buy at the warehouse 1650 yen / 720ml The store had moved to the place where it was founded and had a beautiful exterior and interior. However, we seemed to have visited before the grand opening, so the products were not lined up and were brought to us from the back of the store. We were told to drink our brewery's sake hot, so we tried heated sake for the first time. It was an aged golden color with an aroma of honey. When I first drank it, I was choked up, but when I regained my breath and drank it, the richness of the sake came through. Unlike the aroma, the spiciness of the wine is more pronounced, but as the temperature drops, the sweetness comes out. I enjoy the change in flavor, and I feel like I don't get drunk at all.

A drinking friend of mine wanted to drink a bottle of Takezuru by Toshi Ishikawa, who has moved to Tsuki no I. So I agreed to accompany him. We had it heated. The first aroma is like a matured Shaoxing sake. The first sip had a matured Shaoxing sake-like aroma, and the second had a mildly sweet taste with a Shaoxing sake-like acidity and umami. The sweetness is still there, but it's the kind of fully fermented sake that you can drink while eating snacks. It was delicious 🍶✨.

I've been saving it for over 2 years because it's my favorite brand, but I've decided to open it up. I'm going to enjoy changing the flavor slowly from here ✨. When you open the bottle and pour it in, the aroma is like sweet baked sweets like sponge cake or kawara senbei. The mouthfeel is round and robust. It is round and robust on the palate, with a punch of spiciness and a tangy sourness. It also has a rich, thick flavor and a sweetness that spreads gradually. The balance of sweet, sour, spicy, and bitter is exquisite, not just strong and heavy, and the taste has a wide range of deep flavors, including a confectionery, grain, and rice feel! This is the second brand that has really caught my attention after "Akagisan," and I am very happy with it. It is a bit pricey, but I would like to try the sake made from the original sake yeast if I see it 😌.

I bought it because a liquor store in my neighborhood started handling Tajima. I was surprised at how fruity it was. It is fresh, moderately sweet, and delicious. It is a more modern sake than I expected. After drinking this after the first time, it feels more like a sake 🤔.

This sake was tasted at the Kobe Hankyu event and made a good impression, and was highly praised by Nemuchi-san. A liquor store in my neighborhood became a special distributor, but I was wondering why they didn't carry this sake. It was in the fridge of a point system sake, so I thought 😅😅I thought, "No way, I can buy it normally. I thought so, but I was able to buy it normally😅. It's confusing💦. The rice is Hyogo Nishiki. The last sake we had at Kyoto Stand Kiyo Kiyo was "Toyoyo Junmai Dry Musou" by Mukai Shuzo, also from the Tango region. The rough and powerful label may represent the fishing scene in this area. When you put it in your mouth, you can feel the umami flavor and the aroma of rice is crisp and full. Even though it is called "Dry Musou", it has a hint of sweetness, which makes it a delicious cup. It has been a long time since I have had a good drink, and the best part of drinking outside by myself is that I can drink slowly while considering what to drink and what snacks to go with it, while keeping an eye on my pocketbook. I returned home refreshed both mentally and physically. From next time, I will introduce some of the sakes I took at the beginning of the year!

Today, following yesterday's Aizan drinking event, I went to the Osaka Bay Tower's Japanese sake festival event 😀. I was informed in advance by bouken-san that there was a sake that Saku-san usually does not have, so I made a toast with his wife with that sake 😇. The sake was even clearer and fruity than Saku's usual sake, and we were very satisfied from the start 😀. During the live taiko performance by three women, my wife and I, who are both learning taiko, were overwhelmed by their amazing performance 😇. We were able to compare over 130 different types of sake, but my favorite was from Yamazaru, a brewery located in Asa, Yamaguchi Prefecture 😇. From the aroma to the mouthfeel, it was right up my alley👍! I had a chance to talk to the brewer and asked him about the stores in the Kansai area that carry it.

Junmai Ginjo🍶Aged Sake✨Snow❄️☃️ Aged sake, light yellow in color. Cold sake, matured, Daruma Masamune-like. Not heavy, warmed to 60 degrees. Soft around the edges. Mellow. ☺️ It's still a sake for warming up. I served it with scallop sashimi sent from my relatives in Hokkaido 😋The scallops were huge and delicious💕. Purchased at Iida Sake Shop @ Shiki.

Rice used: Sasanishiki, Dewa Kirari, and Miyamanishiki grown in Yamagata Prefecture. I found this in a grab bag at a liquor store in my neighborhood, which has become a regular feature for me. It's not a great deal in terms of price, but I look forward to it because it contains brands that I don't usually buy. This one has the sourness that is typical of a traditional sake brewery, but when you drink it lightly, it is refreshing, and as you continue to drink it, the sweetness comes slowly. As the day goes by, the sweetness will increase even more. The sharpness is not that great, but it is not overpowering either, making it a good all-around sake. The price is less than 1,000 yen without tax, but I️ think it's quite competent.

I bought it at a brewery in the Daisen area where many sake breweries in Tsuruoka City are concentrated. When I asked if there were any leftover draft sake, I bought two varieties brought from the back of the brewery. This is one of them. The name of the product was so from the receipt.
