I bought a cup of Yosamusume sake on a recent visit to Amanohashidate.
It's a light, classic-leaning cup with a hint of rice flavor. 🙆♂️
It is suitable for a mealtime drink!
Lunchtime drink with sake bought at the supermarket 🍶.
I've never heard of this brand before, but it seems to be made in the same brewery that makes Comet (Shah) 😳.
It was a classic sake with a sweet taste. 🙆♂️
It was delicious!
This is the last of three kinds of Momonosato I bought in Okayama during the Bon Festival.
This one had the sweetest flavor typical of Momonosato and was the least cloying. 🙆♂️
It was a sake that even beginners would find easy to drink 🍶.
Finally, the Hanshin Tigers have won the championship 🐯!
The first championship in 2 years and the fastest in NPB!
They were really strong this year👍.
And the sake we drank with today's game was a cup of Tamba's local sake, Chouro sake.
It is a very alcoholic sake with a strong alcohol taste.
It might be good to have it warmed up 🍶.
Next is Seikou from Yamanashi Prefecture, a long time ago.
It is a crisp, sharp, and dry sake suitable for a meal.
It is a must for those who like dry sake.
Today I went to a corner sake shop in Harukas to compare local sake from three prefectures in the Chubu region.
The first one was Urakuyama.
It was delicious, fruity but crisp, clean and dry. 🙆♂️
At a nearby sushi restaurant 🍣.
It's been a while since I've had a Hakkaisan, but this one was smooth and light on the palate.
It was a delicious sake to go with sushi 🍶.
Tonight's sake is Matsu no Tsukasa from Ryuoh in Shiga Prefecture, which I am drinking for the first time.
It is a clear, smooth, and gentle sake.
I also appreciate the low alcohol content of 13 degrees. 🙆♂️
I wonder if the label is inspired by Lake Biwa? It is a nice illustration!
This is one of the three Momo-no-Sato varieties that I bought when I stopped by Okayama.
It says it is authentic dry sake, but when I drank it, I found it was not like that at all, it was a delicious sake with a fruity taste like peaches 🍶.
It is a perfect brand for those who like sweet sake.
After work.
This sake is made by Niigata Meikozo, known for N-888 and Chojamori.
I had it at room temperature, and it was a perfect drink for a meal with a light and dry taste, which is typical of Niigata. 🙆♂️
At an eel restaurant in Kyoto.
I have had this sake from Kamizo before, and it is a very tasty sake that is fruity and easy to drink and goes down smoothly 🍶.
It went really well with eel. 🙆♂️
Takashima sake (🍶) that I drank during my stay in Shiga.
It is a light and dry sake with a hint of complexity.
I can feel the Shiga-ness of it.
It was delicious. 🙆♂️
Today's third bottle is a low-alcohol sake from Koshinotaka purchased in Tsuruga.
Even though it is a low-alcohol sake, the alcohol content is a whopping 3%😳.
It has a sour taste like black vinegar.
I have had many low-alcoholic beverages, but I did not know it tasted like this.
In a way, I was shocked by this alcohol 🤣.
The second bottle today was a Momo-no-Sato, which was also purchased in Okayama and was on my personal list of favorites.
It was a delicious sweet and sour fruity sake with classic elements 🍶.
I bought this cup of sake the other day in Okayama.
It has a light acidity like white wine👏👏.
It's nice to be able to enjoy this kind of sake easily in a cup. 🙆♂️
Last is Kaze no Mori.
It is said to be a hard-to-find cool Junmai, but it too was very tasty, with a little more cloying than Akitsuho 507, but with the sweetness and gasiness typical of Kaze no Mori 👏👏.
The third cup was the first saké I've had this year.
It seems to be a limited edition sake for restaurants, but it was a fruity, sweet and tasty sake that would be good for beginners 🍶.
The second glass is Saba Deshou🐟.
It seems to be a sake that goes well with mackerel, but it is a light and dry sake that seems to go well with any fish, not just mackerel.
It was also delicious. 🙆♂️
At the Sake Cost Sake Brewery.
From the Popular Sake Brewery, known for its popular Ichiban.
A sweet cup full of Fukushima-like gentleness 🍶.
It had a fruity aroma that I liked!
