Sake of the Day (12/6)
Asahikiku Daichi
Junmai Ginjo Nama Shu
Rice: 100% Yamadanishiki produced in Fukuoka Prefecture
Rice polishing ratio: 50
Alcohol content: 17%.
Next, we have Asahi Kiku 😆.
This sake is made with yeast #6 ✨.
The aroma is not too strong ✨☝️
It can be drunk warmed up and still be refreshing ✨.
It's delicious 😆.
Kansai Salmon Roe Bring and Share Year-End Party⑰.
We said goodbye to Pon-chan, Kyuzo, Usagoten, Yasube, and Kaorin, and went to the second party.
We met up with Mr. Sakeran at Nishinakajima-minamikata station and had a videophone call with Tochigi Kenmin-kai members 😊.
It was interesting to see the tension between the Kansai group at the end of the first meeting and the Tochigi group right after the start of the first meeting 🤣.
Nemuchi-san helped me find a nice restaurant for the after-party. Thank you for everything 🙇.
Almost everyone at first? Cheers to beer!
Next we ordered Sake!
Asahi Kiku's fire-brewed sake was the first time I had ever had it!
The taste was calm and well-balanced.
Good evening, bouken 😃.
Indeed! There was a time difference in the drunkenness 😆 Good to see you all 🤗.
And we all toasted with beer 🍻something funny😁.
Hello Jay & Nobby ☀☀☀.
I'm sure you were drunk and that's why you were so excited 🤣.
If I were sober, I would have been like, "Oh, hey, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I might have been a bit of a tsundere like that 🙄.
I think we had highballs but it was mostly beer 🍺.
Fukuoka Prefecture is home to many delicious sake, and this is one of them!
Asahikiku Daichi✨It's a sake that's only available at retailers 🤗I bought it because I fell in love with the name~!
So I opened the bottle! The elegant aroma of Yamadanishiki (☺️) is truly elegant! The elegant sweetness spreads in the mouth, and as you swallow it, a beautiful and delicate bitterness comes in and finishes it off. This is truly a sake for a mealtime drink. I have had it with chanchan-yaki (grilled salmon), and it melts the fat of the salmon!
And it goes perfectly with chilled tofu 👍Sashimi would be good too! I don't have any today!
Thanks for another great sake today ✨😊😊Thanks for the food!
Trip to Fukuoka!
Ate at a motsunabe restaurant, horse sashimi and
Dry and mild.
I felt some bitterness when I drank it cold, but I liked the sweetness when it became lukewarm.
Maybe I like it at room temperature.
We were told that it was supposed to be warmed up, so we went with a lukewarm taste.
The label is also lovely when you hear about it from the master brewer.
On September 29, my friends and I participated in AND SAKE FUKUOKA for the first time!
An annual event where Fukuoka's sake breweries gather.
I didn't get any pictures of the sake we drank because of the crowd😅.
I personally liked Hana no Dew's original sparkling sake for the event 😋.
I bought Asahi Kiku at the liquor store 🍶 which I couldn't drink at the venue.
At room temperature.
It is soft and easy to drink.
More of a dry taste
Hot sake
More umami than at room temperature
The aftertaste is sharp and clean.
It is better when hot.
Asahikiku Daichi-no-shu Special Junmai
Outside drinking (4)
Unlike today's fruity sake...
The aroma is mild...
The rice flavor and matured acidity are pleasant 😆.
Ohhhh, the sake cup is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good!
I think I like this kind of food sake lately 🦆.
