Since ancient times, people used to throw beans on Setsubun day👹. Before we know it, the custom of eating ehoumaki (rolls wrapped in rice wrapped in eho-maki) has has taken root. Tonight is the moon after the rain. When I open the door, I hear a cheerful sound. The feeling of tight gas 🫧. Aroma like sweet sake Clean sweetness and sharpness ⚡. When you mix the lees, the lactobacillus feeling becomes more intense at once ✨. Light, low-alcoholic taste, so you can gobble it up 😋.

Refreshing, sweet and sour. It has a stronger apple taste than the fire-brewed Apple Pom Pom I had before. The alcohol content is low at 7 degrees, so it is like a juice. Although the alcohol content is low, it is delicious and has a green apple taste. I didn't know this was a joint development with Motox. I didn't know that. It's the same as Iori and Iyano.

I thought it was a fresh, juice-like drink with a slight sweetness and a really green apple-like acidity.

Smoked sake. Alcohol 7 degrees. Cool, juice-like drinkability due to the use of malic acid high-productivity yeast! Sweetness is created by pairing with sour snacks🍎.

A gift from my brother at home the other day. It was chilly, so I paired it with pork shabu-shabu. It was a little high at 17%, so I tasted it slowly at first and then served it on the rocks in the latter half of the bottle. I enjoyed the mildness of the wine.

This is another sake that was mentioned in this month's special issue of dancyu on sake that tastes good at "room temperature". Niigata Prefecture has many breweries, and there are still a few that I have yet to try. There are many breweries in Niigata that I have yet to try. I'd like to try it at room temperature or lukewarm.

I bought this Suzune for my wife who wanted to drink it 😛 lol The gasiness is still the same, but the rice flavor and acidity are there, but the impression is a little lighter than Suzune. I think I like this one better because it's more refreshing✨.

☀️ Weekend in Aizuwakamatsu. I knew I had to try Kitakata ramen ❗️, so I had some ramen🍜 before returning to the hotel🏨. The chewy noodles, the soft chashu pork, the soy sauce broth...it was all great 😋. And one more bowl before bed 😆. We stopped by Suehiro Sake Brewery on our brewery tour and bought some sake 🍶 and jelly 🤩. First of all, a puchi puchi 🫧. It starts with bitterness and gradually sweetens up. A nice, clean, flattering taste 😚. Next is the jelly 🤍. Plum? Tangerine? Sweet like 🤔. Hard to compare as I can hardly taste the acidity 😓. It's listed as having alcohol in it, but maybe because I was drunk, it was no different than regular jelly 😆. I have special plans tomorrow so I'm going to bed early 🛌💤.

It is a local sake, but I first heard about it through "Sake-no-wa" and bought it at a sake store in the northern part of the prefecture. My daughter bought it at Fujiwaraya in Sendai Station a couple of times before she got married. Strangely enough, I could not remember any other person's sake. It has a fruity aroma and taste like peaches, with a nice sharp aftertaste. (Mrs. Fujinami's impression) It was too rich for me and I did not understand it well. It became easier to drink when I tried it on the rocks.

Summer version of hode nasu 🍆. First time I've ever purchased summer ✨. It's completely different from the winter version, crispy 😳 almost no acidity! I prepared a steak with the winter flavor, but I ate it with yesterday's leftover mansaku and ate the hode nasu with edamame and cucumbers 😅. Hode nasu in summer is more like sushi or pickles than meat 🤔.

Here we go! Hode Nasu! The label depicts an eggplant, as is typical of summer sake. It is shipped twice a year, in summer and winter, and the number of shipments is limited, so there must be many locals who do not know about it. While there are many low-alcohol summer sakes, this one has 16% alcohol content, so it is a great value for money. It is a dry sake that does not have much of a topping aroma, but when you drink it, you will find it to be refreshingly dry. It is clearly tailored to make a clear distinction from the sweet and sour of the winter model. For a sake that is dry at the entrance, it was a delicious sake with a strong umami taste afterward. Don't abuse me, sake words without permission. 〜At my age, I realize how much I have to learn... Thank you for the sake!

I went to Yamagata for the first time in a long time😊. I was allowed to drink sake at my uncle's house. Mellow and sake-like sake, just the way I like it for everyday drinking 😊. There was also some Asahitaka at night, but I don't remember drinking it. I forgot to take a picture 🥲.

We had guests over at the house that day, so we opened a lot of bottles😅. I bought it because I thought it was rare to find once-fired sake in a keg. The top aroma is modest, but when you drink it, you can smell the woody aroma of the barrel. It is fresh and sweeter than I expected. The final taste is spicy. I would like to drink this as it is 🤔.
