At home. Nara Sake without permission, 12th stage ~‼️ Kubo Honke, a long-established sake brewery in Uda City, Nara Prefecture ~ ‼️ Hatsukasumi and this Soriryu are famous brands. The baseball club team that my sons took care of when they were in junior high school was located in Uda, and this is a nostalgic place where we used to go every weekend. We used to pass by the brewery we visited this time, but this is the first time we visited there. It is called "Sake Brewery Street," but it is really a quiet street. And the taste of the sake.... There is not much aroma, and although you can feel the alcohol in your mouth, the dryness is not so high and the sake is easy to drink. I imagined it would be a dry sake for the experts because it is from a long-established sake brewery, but to my surprise, it is moderately drunk and has a refreshing taste. It is not flashy, but it is a good sake. ‼️

Sakemonogatari in Kansai(*) It is a hiyaoroshi of honjozo with a slightly sweet taste and a sense of grain! It is well balanced, probably because it is a honjozo. I would definitely like to drink it with an appetizer! The fourth glass was my first sake, Miyako Bijin The fourth glass was a freshly squeezed, light nigori sake of Miyako Bijin, which is a first for me. I got this on a trip to Nagasaki last year. I will have it while thinking back to the delicious Turkish rice and Sara Udon noodles 🤤. When you open the bottle and pour it, the aroma is sweet and fluffy, like pudding or custard. The aroma is gentle and soothing. The mouthfeel is smooth and silky, but as the aroma suggests, it has a pudding-like flavor and a moist sweetness that fills the mouth 🍮. On the other hand, it also has a slightly tangy and pungent acidity that gives it a lightness, so it has a good balance of depth of flavor and a sharpness that goes down your throat👍. In the latter half of the bottle, the astringent taste also comes out, so the flavor can be felt as caramelized. There are also the standard "Yokoyama Goju" and "Rokujyosu", and I remember that I had a lot of trouble finding a variety at the Nagasaki airport. I also drank Nagasaki sake several times, and it seems to me that the level of sake is as high as that of shochu 😌.

OSAKA SAKE&FOOD EXPO 2024⑳ Lastly, we went to the Komatsuya booth again. Nechi from Nechiozan, which is not seen very often. There were many different rice varieties, but we chose the Koshitanrei 1st class rice 2020. Nechi is only available at authorized dealers.
