Dinner at home.
Drank sake as I got some good sashimi.
The third bottle was Re:vive Kuuga by Heiroku Brewing Company.

It is a craft saké that was being pushed at a liquor store I know. It has a unique top aroma like an old pickle.

The mouthfeel is light sweetness and acidity. It has a kind of habit that is hard to describe.

On the second day, the habitual taste becomes milder.

Dinner on my wife's birthday.
I thought I would go for one more drink,
Next, Re:vive Kyuyuan, this is also my first time, I've had some Heiroku Brewery's sake, but this is my first time to try Kyuyuan!
Craft sake
It's refreshing and tart, this is like a white wine! 🥂
This is also delicious 😋.
Considering the meal we had today, it could have been a bit more guttural and sake-like, but this was it and both were delicious!
There were so many things I wanted to drink, but I came here to celebrate my wife's birthday, not to drink 🤣 (she doesn't drink sake...)
ICHIRO18, it was delicious!
Thank you very much😊
Good drawing of Pooh!
Takashi, no, not at all. I'm glad you had a good time...and this birthday plate is cute...they offer such a service too 🥰 This craft sake looks delicious!

Iwate Sake Banquet!
Hirairoku Brewery
This is the "Mugai" by Hirairoku Brewery, which I definitely wanted to drink this time, along with Okuroku by Iwate Meizou.
I really like its moist sweetness and acidity, and it has the second strongest taste after Tsuki no Rin among all the sake we drank this time.
I also tried the pear one, but it was sweeter and more to my liking.
Dawn of the Young at Otemachi
A great opportunity to learn about unknown breweries
Some of the things that caught my attention (3)
Heiroku Revive Origin Akatsuki
Heiroku Brewery is a local craft brewer who left a brewery for various reasons.
This sake uses the brewer's yeast "Akatsuki".
This sake is made with five kinds of rice based on glutinous rice and germinated brown rice, and fermented at low temperature for a long period of time.
It is a very expensive sake, so it is not easy to drink, but we hope you will take this opportunity to enjoy a little bit of it.
Elegant yet complex sweetness and umami
Even though glutinous rice is used, it is not too sweet.
Beautiful acidity
A little citric acidity
I'd like to drink more, but maybe some other time.
I'm glad the brewer remembers me who visited the brewery in Morioka one time when many things were going on!
I really want to support this brewery!
Heiroku Brewery
Re:vive Mugai
This brewery is located in Shiwa-machi, Iwate Prefecture.
The brewery produces 50% polished koji rice and 40% polished kake rice from Iwate Prefecture,
By adding glutinous brown sprouted rice, it is not a sake, but a brewed sake.
but other brewed sake.
Sweet and gorgeous aroma, juicy rice flavor,
lactic acidity, and a gentle, sweet, elegant and pleasant aftertaste.
Pleasant aftertaste.

Smells like syrup
taste of lactic acidity
grape acidity white wine type
Frankly, it tastes like the lactic acid in the germinated brown rice is out of control. Tastes like a stopper if you inevitably drink a lot of it.
(It was a corner shot, so it might have been oxidized)
I've been curious about Re:vive Kuga from Heiroku Brewery, but I've never had it before.
I drank "layer" but this is my first time to try "Re:vive".
I wanted to make sake, but I don't have a sake license, so I mixed germinated brown rice with sake and made it as a craft sake. (Brown rice is considered rice and is sake, germinated brown rice is craft sake, I didn't know that 🧐)
Gentle sweetness, moderate acidity.
Fresh and delicious 😋.
Not schwashy, but fresh?
Beautiful and tasty, but maybe it's my imagination, a bit subtly different from so called sake? (Can't describe it 🤣)
Well, it's good because it tastes good 😆.
It's the kind of thing that goes down smoothly.
Good morning, Jay & Nobby 😊.
This brewery has a lot of background, I read about it when I read up on the internet. I read it on the internet! It's really interesting, isn't it?
They go through a lot of trouble to make good sake 🥰.
This craft sake is brewed using the method of Shaoxing sake, using glutinous rice as the mash as well as germinated brown rice. It has a unique aroma different from that of ginjo, and a rich flavor that cannot be described by sweetness alone.
Sourness of lactic acidity and grapefruitiness spreads strongly. A refreshing and sweet sake for summer.
Sake-like new sake type with germinated brown rice.
Well balanced and drinkable forever. This is a very good sake that deserves to spread its wings even bigger!
I was curious about it but couldn't find the right time to buy it, but I finally did.
It is sweet and sour. I found it a bit sweet, but the acidity sums it up and it's surprisingly sharp.
Thanks for the food😊.
