I was curious about it but couldn't find the right time to buy it, but I finally did. It is sweet and sour. I found it a bit sweet, but the acidity sums it up and it's surprisingly sharp. Thanks for the food😊.

I bought this for drinking at home. It has an interesting balance of acidity and sweetness, and it makes a wonderful food wine when served with bonito tataki. You can enjoy it alone like a dessert wine.

Perhaps it's my imagination, but I've been seeing Iwate sake a lot in the Sakénawa area lately, so I extended my love of Miyagi to love of Tohoku, and my 501st bottle was Heiroku's Setsuna. I'm just saying, I was influenced by Maru-san's post the other day about Hori no Ii, and I just wanted to drink some good Iwate sake too 😅Hiraroku Brewery from Shiwa town, just like Hori no Ii. All Iwate rice is used here, and from the first sip, it's soooo good😍! It has a light mouthfeel and just the right amount of sweetness. The refreshing citrus-like acidity that comes along with it is an exquisite and wonderful accent 💕Wow, it's delicious 😋. Whatever Heiroku-san's sake is, it's too delicious to finish 💦.

HIRALOKU REVIVE Origine Craft Sake Re:vive Origin Akatsuki is a special craft sake created by Hiraroku Brewery in Shiwa-machi, Iwate Prefecture. Akatsuki, a 100-year-old brewer's yeast, was discovered in the former brewery of the Hiraoroku Hirai Residence in Hizume, an important cultural property designated by the Japanese government, and this yeast was used to brew this sake. Five kinds of rice, including germinated brown rice of Shiwa's specialty glutinous rice "Himenomochi," are used as ingredients, and the brewer spends 1.5 times longer than usual to prepare the koji, which is carefully made with a lot of time and effort. The result is a refined flavor that harmonizes the fruity aroma reminiscent of Japanese pears and beetroot with grain nuances. It was released in limited quantities in late August 2024 and sold for 11,000 yen (tax included) for a 720 ml bottle. It is also handled as a tax return gift for hometown taxpayers.

This will probably be my first craft saké review. What do you think of the specs on this one, which seem to focus on acidity and are modern? It seems to feature the use of germinated brown rice. Also, the mail-order source liquor store labeled it as orikarami, but it is a clear sake, and I suspect it is a regular product. The aroma is melon-like and floral, like a rose, and there is a strong acidity when you drink it. It has a strong acidity. It gives the impression of being wild. As it is, it has a slight sweetness and bitterness like brown rice, and a matured flavor. Surprisingly, it goes well with light dishes and salads rather than strong dishes. On the fourth day, it is heated, but the sourness becomes stronger, and while it has the sweetness of brown rice, it becomes like an oddball sake. It is not bad, but it is best served cold. It is a modern sake, but it has a floral rather than fruity impression, and on the other hand, it has a strong rice flavor, perhaps due to the use of brown rice, making it a unique sake. Personally, I prefer the sharpness of the sake, but the number of distributors is increasing at a rapid pace, and I would like to try other specifications next time.

I like it, delicious, apples, cold, rice feel, similar characteristics to 2022BY Kaze no Mori Alpha8 brewed with brown rice, not just brown rice, but germinated brown rice, so other brewed sake craft saké. 3 days after opening the bottle, banana, Shaoxing wine caramel, not bitter, classical feel.
