This brewery was closed in April this year due to the effects of Corona and other factors. It is said that there is no reopening schedule, so it is practically closed. The official site has disappeared, and it looks like the company has been sold. It would be nice if the company that bought it would let it reopen... It's a rich, umami type that's different from the general image of Niigata's sake. It has a sweetness from the rice. As it has won a gold medal, I'm sure this sake would be delicious warmed. It also has a creamy sweetness.

The rice used is Yamadanishiki and Shunyo. This is Izumo no Kuni's newest brewery, created (reborn) last year. Naturally, it was the first time for us to visit. The image of sake in this area is that of powerful sake-like sake, all of which are unique. This sake is unique in the sense that it is, but the image has been overturned. It is very fruity and lightly sweet and sour, with a pleasant citrus bitterness spreading from the sweetness and acidity. The mouthfeel is clear and crisp. Overall 9 (out of 10) I had my first Shimane sake 🍶😃. I got it from Pekho-san. According to the description of the sake shop It's a "fruity and full of flavor" sake! Delicious 😋. It is a light, astringent and delicious 🍶. More of a sense of breadth than a sense of depth. Simple and straight rather than complex and harmonious Consistent throughout rather than a change in flavor. The astringency brings out the umami of the rice in a good way. I got such an impression 😋. It was gone in no time at all😅 I served it chilled. I went to Tabe Takeshita Sake Brewery and Sake Brewery Museum 😆. But all the sake was sold out there 😭 So I went to a liquor store that sells this sake and bought Rihachi👍. I wanted to drink it and I couldn't bear to end up not being able to buy it 😣. But I'm glad I was able to buy it safely 😌. I've had this drink before and I know it's good, so I feel safe drinking it 😌. I wasn't sure whether to buy Rihachi's white label or black label, but this time I went with this one ✨. It's consistently delicious 😋.

I had the impression that it was a famous sake with a harsh name and a long history, so I thought it would have a strong alcoholic taste, but no matter what, it's very easy to drink. Purchased at the Shinsaibashi Takashimaya Department Store on the recommendation of a store clerk. Rice used is unknown. The richness of the original sake can be felt. It does not have much of a nama-zake character, and is clear and clean through the throat, making it a sake that you will never get tired of drinking. Because of its name, I had always assumed it was a sake from Kyoto. I️ was surprised to learn that it was the first Japanese sake to win the Monde Selection gold medal, and that Wakayama is proud of this world-class sake. My sincere apologies 🙏.

I was impressed with the Miyamanishiki Hi-Kiri that I had previously tasted, so I tried the nama-shu as well. It is fruity, sweet and delicious, but a little refreshing. It also seems to have more acidity. The hi-ire version seems more cohesive, but I personally prefer the nama-zake. It tasted good when it was first opened, but on the third day, it's not so good. The bitterness is getting much stronger. I think I would prefer the more stable fire-roasted version.
